The fact that Alex has spent so much time perfecting an already superb product, instead of leaving it where it was and rolling out other string libraries and likely making more money that way is testament to the principles and dedication of the Cinematic Studio crew. This is how it should be done folks - create a class leading library , keep refining and improving it and make the update free for existing customers. Couple that with the fairest loyalty and sales policy in the business. Can't wait to try it. Thanks!
Yes. Pros have low tolerance to unfrequent updates of incomplete plugins (example: EW, Notion 6 etx.) Although i see some "efforT" in EW.

And this is why Alex is the best developer out there. Despite the library having been released a few years ago, Alex still delivered on his promise.
More developers should learn from the way he treats his costumers. If a costumer shows loyalty to your product you should be professional and show loyalty back, not just take their money and abandon a product or charge for updates that should have been there in the first place.

P.S. And how great is it that with his composing skills and talent, he could easilly just focus on composing but he chooses to spend his time giving other composers tools to make great music?

The new short notes sound really good, especially with the basses! I also loved that low rumble effect from the basses with the low latency legato!

Oh that control over the vibrato sounds very natural! It's such an obvious meat & potatoes type of option to have, it's all about the phrasing :) . Very glad you've updated this, fantastic work!!

Your strings prior to 1.7 were my favorite. I'll bet I'll love them even more now. I've had so many people believe that my strings were recorded live. But not only do you make an amazing product, your compositions and demonstrations are beautiful and impressive.

Wow, not sure what magic went on behind the scenes but those marcatos are absurdly good! Along with the updated non-vibrato legato/crossfade and the new mics, this is kind of my dream update. Thanks Alex for spending so much time and energy improving an already exceptional product!
Alex, thanks for listening and perfecting. It sounds much tighter now. Those latency issues have always been a challenge :). I also found CSS Marcato to be a little bit spare. I think this now makes it far more useful and I can now see it being used as a useful performance and accent patch. Thanks for your hard work, diligence and improving a library that has always had so much potential.

To be fair... these are recordings of real instruments sampled with painstaking detail. It's the programming of the instruments that is impeccably authentic and puts me to shame! Fantastic work!
I've used many (MANY (M-A-N-Y) ) libraries during my personal "pursuit of happiness", trying to find the one that after hours of hard work on cc programming and orchestrating would make me say "ok, yes, i am listening to a real orchestra" . Personally i stopped searching when my ears said to me "this is it, now create" . When i found CSS. And now it got BETTER. What can i say. No big words, no nothing, just an awesome product that gives LIFE to your creative musical thoughts. A big THANK YOU to this company.

To Alex, you've earned the industry's respect on how you take care of the CSS users with incredible product updates. I already have CSS, CSSS, CSWW, CSP, and almost done saving up for CSB. I love how integrated every library is with each other. Oh, by the way, with CSS 1.7 update, would you still recommend copy-pasting midi regions between CSS and CSSS and CSW?
