Al Dusty places +4 and made it red. Terroriser puts down another +4 and made it blue. Then evan Challenged it and won because under the +4 terroriser put was red and Terroriser had red in his deck.)

Challenges are when someone plays a +4 and you think they could have played something else like for example if before they place the +4 its a green 7 if they had a 7 of any color or any green they would lose the challenge but if they dont then you lose the challenge

In the games rules,you can only play a +4 when you don't have the active color,I'm gonna use your example for this,if the last card is a green 7,and you don't have green but you have a 7,you can still play the +4,get challenged,and win the challenge

Brian, If I remember challenges work like so;
- If your opponent plays a Wild Draw 4 card and you don't challenge, you draw 4 cards
- If your opponent plays a Wild Draw 4 card and you challenge, and your opponent could've played another card, your opponent draws 4 cards
- If you opponent plays a Wild Draw 4 card and you challenge, but your opponent couldn't have played another card, you draw 6 cards (E.G. They draw from the deck and get a +4, you shouldn't challenge it)
Brian, challenging works like this: if you plus four someone they have the option to basically call a bluff against you that you had another play besides the plus four, if they win you take the plus four and continue the deal. If they lose they pick up 2 more cards then they would have just from the plus four. if it’s stacked then if they’re correct in that you could have played a different card(despite having to pick up cards in order to do so) then you take your plus four and they take the other people’s plus fours. If they lose they pick up 2 more cards.

9:40 The "challenge" rule is simple, if you are challenged and one "could" or "had" other options to play that is not a +4 or +2, one is the "challenge". But if it is the only card that you could play you "win" the challenge, since it was your "only option".

Here's how the challenge system works Brian. Say the card on top is a blue 9 and you have a blue card in your hand, if you play a wild +4 knowing you had a blue (or a different colored 9) you could play, you can get challenged and get +6 cards dealt to you instead. BECAUSE you played out of suit, you had a blue/other #'d card you could have played, but you chose a wild instead. That's how it works.

Brian, challenges are when someone places a +4, and if you think they have the color on the top stack and placed +4 and when you challenge, they get +4. It’s really confusing
So Brian... The challenges go like this: If they play a wild +4, then you can challenge. It'll show you their cards and if they had any other card of that color, then they take the cards. So let's say it's blue and someone plays a +4, you challenge it and it shows that they had a blue 6, you would win the challenge. But let's say they didn't have any other blue cards, then you lose the challenge.

When it comes to Challenge in Uno, u use it if u think ur opponent couldve played something else other than thier +4, if ur opponent has a card that could've been played other than +4, u win the challenge and ur opponent draws 4 cards, however if ur opponents plus 4 was the only card they could've played, then u lose the challenge and draw 6 cards,

Challenge is simple, although there's a time and place for it. Example: say there's a red number card down on the table. You have +4 and other cards. Next person has Uno, so to be sure that this person won't win, you smack that +4 onto the table. That person can challenge you, so there are then two options:
1) If you had the same red number or red color card in your hand, then game rules would have preferred that you'd played that red number or red color card instead of +4, thus the person who challenges you will win the challenge;
2) You don't have the same red number or red color card in your deck, so the person who challenges loses the challenge, since you had no other "preferred" card to play;
With that in mind, never challenge anyone who starts to draw the cards from the deck and then pulls a +4 and smacks it on table, they indeed did not have any other card to play and that challenge would be lost. With AI it's at times tricky, since in most cases AI doesn't "bluff", but in most cases, not in all. So go with the gut feeling when challenging Al Dusty, so to say. With challenge enabled, and if you have +4 in your deck, it's sort of "beneficial" to run out of one color, this way you can always slap that +4 down when that missing color comes up and you need to hit someone.
Other "nuances" are when, say, the +4 gets stacked and is passed on and receiver challenges it. If both people who passed on that +4 had no other cards to play, challenger loses. If one of them had no other cards to play but other did have, then challenger sort of "half wins", that is instead of +8 challenger gets +4 (challenge part he lost against) but person who had other cards to play but played +4 instead, gets those +4 back (since that person lost the challenge).

Ok, so this is how Challenge works. Say Nogla plays a yellow skip and it’s your turn now. If you have a skip or a yellow and you play a plus 4 instead, and someone challenges it, they win and you draw 4. If you don’t have a skip or a yellow and play a plus 4 and someone challenges it, they draw 6. Hope this helps. Have a good one Brian

If it makes you feel better Brian I played a round of UNO on facebook tonight and got dealt 3 +4s, 1 Green +2, 1 Red +2, 1 Blue Reverse, and 1 Yellow 6. The person across from me had 5 +4s and 2 +2s. I won the other people only played 1 card between the two of them.

If someone plays a plus 4 and they could have played a different card then if you challenge it they are given the 4 cards but if you challenge and they didn’t have anything else to play (eg if they top deck it) then you get 6! With that rule on it’s pretty much a last resort as opposed to using it whenever you want to give them +4
