Great video Clint. I’m the one that said “ hello RUclips Clint” when you were walking to south jetty. Keep up the great videos and looking forward to snook season.
Nice videos man! Enjoy watching when I can’t fish, I’m on the gulf side and some of my favorite fish to bring home and eat are them mangos! We get em in groves over here
Yo was that you that tried to sell me a star rod last weekend at south jetty I was gearing up to fish the catwalk you were going to the rocks at south jetty ??
Majarra work to. Cut tail off and try that. If only catch small mango try putting two on at the same time. Cut pins work. Cut mullet the best. Big chunks
@@diegorico9321 yeah I have caught big 20 inch mango on live 7 or 8 inch mullet. I start experimenting last year in Tampa with greenies and they good, catch some fatties with lot of small mangoes as well. Same results with mahar lot of small mango mixed in with fatties. Then I stepped up to bigger baits pins 3.5 to 4 inch live. No small mango only big fatties. Then I was testing cut pins bigger 5 to 6 inch. Cut off head. Tail, fins. That produces big fat mangoes no small ones. Then I tried big chunks of mullet that was the best 👌 they go nuts. And it works good for sno, and reds to. We don't have cabero on this side, but I'm sure it would work for the big cabero snapper as well. Sno also on the flats around the oyster bar love cut pins and mullet heads.
@@diegorico9321 I'm catching these mango behind people's homes. They have docks on deep channels. Average depth of channels 10 to 30 feet. Big rocks, holes, ledges. In the fall winter and spring gag grouper are mixed in with the mango and sno. And tarpon up to 48 inches
I wouldn’t say it’s been dead I’ve caught my limit everytime I go out it’s just that day they were biting and people would literally throw right on top of you… it’s not worth the hassle to go on the weekends IMO🤷🏾♂️
