- KLM Royal Dutch Airlines recently begun commercial flights with its first Airbus A321neo aircraft, with the narrowbody flying for the first time between Amsterdam and Copenhagen. It’s a big step for the carrier, as it moves to phase out its older Boeing 737s with these new A321neos.

Looks good in the KLM colours
Would love to see this in a orange pride livery
Anything looks good on that iconic colours tbh
Agreed, Certainly does in this livery 👍!
That A321neo looks quite spiffy in the KLM livery.
Looks amazing in KLM colours.
Best livery in the business
Good choice KLM! Well done!!
Looks absolutely Great in KLM's livery 💙💙💙💙💙💙🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Nice looking a/c
Tomorrow delta starts flying a a321 neo from SJU to JFK. My flight is on Sunday!❤️
Go, KLM!!
Sad the heat they will cease the 737NG family. But I’m glad klm is going to new heights, literally!
nice its flying to denmark yippeeeee
I wish it flew to my local airport, however the demand is only enough for Embraers 😭
Shame Douglas are no longer around,as KLM had every Douglas/ McDonnell airliner built.Still, time moves on and this Airbus looks stunning in this livery!👍
The look suits well.
The decision was not made by KLM. It was made by Air France. KLM will continue to operate Boeing widebody aircraft even though they will be introducing the A350 to replace their older A330 and 777s.
Excellent Choice 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊!!!!!!!!
I wish KLM had routes to Bahrain
kind a strange to say replacint the older 737, they are 4 737s under 10 years old and the last 737NG ever built, could be the last aircrafts retired and complatly replaced by A321neo
I'm all for it!
This plane is literally flying rn from Amsterdam to Copenhagen as Kl1267 and is nearly halfway through the flight at 39,000 feet
I think it makes sense, KLM and Air France are one company... Air France is a big Airbus customer considering Airbus HQ is in Toulouse...
It probably is a lot easier for Air France and KLM to operate the A320neo family. Even if a large swath of pilots have to be re-trained.
i think that a321neo looks better than max in klm colours.still,i like the max more.
The 321 is an excellent choice
Look's great from the outside. But I don't know why I thought this would be relatively revolutionary in terms of European narrow body cabins, and it certainly isn't.
It's great to hear and also the airbuses they using after you hear all the problems with boeing
Right choice
Personally, as an American, I can't believe the FusterCluck that has been Boeing for the last 10 or so years. They prioritized profits over progress and safety and thereby let Airbus make an easy pickup of what had previously been a Boeing market share. I have long thought that Airbus 320 series is a more comfortable plane for passengers as its cabin is wider (about 6") and so the seats are wider and more comfortable than Boeing narrow body planes. I honestly don't know what Boeing is doing these days. It seems like they want to go extinct. The 787 and 777 are great planes, but Airbus is surging ahead in every plane category and Boeing is going to just fall into the dustbin of history.
The Airbus 320 is much quieter and more comfortable for passengers than the 737 series.
Wonder will the King get a new type rating to fly this aircraft.
Best decision ever
Good option
I think we make a mistake, looking at airbus as an underdog always as a matter of fact, they’re an industry leader, and they offer great services to their customers
What? Nobody (but Boeing fanboys) has seen Airbus as an 'underdog' in over 20 years.
What are you talking about mate?
@igorzhogan ??? You do know that Airbus have out-delivered Boeing every year since 2019?!?
And also Airbus has won the order race 20 times out of the last 24 years.
Also Airbus' backlog is about 3000 planes larger then Boeing's.
@@osasunaitor perhaps the media in a way portrays Boeing the greater of two
@@igorzhoganare you clueless or just pretending to be dumb 😂
Sorry,l meant McDonnell Douglas...
This is me being cynical but I bet they don't care that much that it's quieter, they want the fuel savings. It will help to make their business more sustainable (in an economic sense) and more competitive.
Next to go are the A330's..
Why get an XLR when they would just fly it short haul with that bogus Eurobiz? Why not just get the simpler 321 Neo?
This is a "simpler" NEO. A321XLR hasn't entered service yet (Iberia the first to) and KLM haven't ordered it
Does it mean with the XL luggage bins, people can take their half house hold into the cabin again, with all problems from the 'past'?
In other words it's still going to be a big mess!
Best move for KLM considering all the issues at Boeing
I'm a mechanic at Qantas. They all have their fucking problems, Airbus is no different
@@Pedro_the_great Same level of problems like MCAS or doors flying off?
@@charlie7mason or rudder flying off like flight 587?
One of the best airline with the best aircraft company.
As an Airbus fan, I think this is a mistake to be 100% Airbus or 100% Boeing : in case of problem, it's never good to have only one provider as a company... Delta did a clever choice by having 50/50 manufacturers, you never know what could happen 🤷♂
@@Elliasp-xx7mb KLM will still have 777-300ERs and 787 accompanying the A320neo and future A350s
Yeah all those airbus only airlines certainly had issues because of that lol 😂 this is only an issue if you are 100% boeing
@@GBOAC Go First from India who had A320-271Ns with P&W engines ONLY:
@@GBOAC Also most Airbus-only or Boeing-only airlines are without issues
Great choice of craft, just another 88 to deliver
Not a Boeing lost opportunity but orders from AF
I thought they were also going to fly to Berlin. Disappointed😢
Airbus 320 series is better than Boeing 737. Ignoring the max and its safety concerns, I like how the A320 is 8 inches wider. I’m an average/fit guy and seem to always get stuck next to big overweight people. That extra inch per seat gives us all a little extra room.
Max would be a turnoff for mamy pax
Air France being in the picture actually had a HUGE impact in the choice…
Should have bought Airbus years ago b
🗿🛩️🔝
I prefer the old 737 KLM livery with the straight cheatline instead of the new wave
They did choose A320neo to prevent boeing caused air disasters
The European business class style is so disappointing. What they save of commonailty is lost on reduced interest for the product in my opinion.
First learn that Europe is a continent and not a country. There is neither a European Business Class nor is European spoken here. Once you have learned and understood this, you can talk about the different forms of business classes in the many different airlines from Holland, France, Spain, Germany, Poland, Italy, etc.
@@gerhardma4297 I live on continental Europe...
I didn't say Europe = the Netherlands, I said this style of service, not unique to KLM, is a disappointment.
737 will always be more prettier
Nah the 757 is much prettier than both
nuh uh!
Kinda like there MD 11 and 747 better
I don't understand why many Legacy Carriers...
have the same seat-pitch than Low-Cost airlines
