- After many years, I finally got to train with Nick Hemmers. Nick is the head coach at Hemmers Gym in Breda, the Netherlands. He coaches many World Champions and top contenders: Marat Grigorian, Jamal Ben Saddik, Harut Grigorian, Filip Verlinden, etc.
He is the brother of the Legendary, Ramon Dekkers, and Son to one of Dutch kickboxing's pioneers, Cor Hemmers (who watches some of our training in the video!).
Extremely beautiful technique , this really shows it is a martial ART
This is beautiful. I love kickboxing so much.
I love Dutch style
Muito eficiente não tem como negar
love dutch kickboxing combos
Love the control in the sparing..relaxed and instinctive . Go with the flow ..respects
So beautiful to watch 🥶
Classic Dekkers combo's. ❤
A man of culture, I see. Idk if there was anyone like him, glad he's remembered and talked about
Love it! They make it look so easy. But seriously why has this channel exploded yet? Good, clear and quality content.
Very Nice... My wife and I sat next to your Mother and Father in NYC when you fought. Enjoyed watching you fight. Great Fighter
I literally searched for Dutch Drills yesterday, glad I found the best one in my subscriptions today 🙌🏻
Just bought a t -shirt at your store cause I feel guilty getting all this stellar advice for free!
So fluid great stuff. Theres alot of bad coaches showing drills but joe always shows great stuff
You learn just by watching fantastic
Greetings from Ecuador. Big fan of yours and your channel. Nick: a big one in dutch kickboxing
Pure art. Thanks!
Beautiful kickboxing 😮
love this everytime i watch it! thanks
So awesome to watch how the best work together , they apply techniques with such control , not inflicting damage, nothing to prove, no ego , such respect...
His dedication towards his profession/art is laudable. A teaching that you me and others may miraculously hope to pick up. Even though it may be too late in age.
Awesome Joseph.
This is awesome. Reminds of when Andre Dida and Andy Souwer were training backstage at a UFC event
This is art, beautiful to watch.
such a good jam session
beautiful beautiful thing to watch, it's art.
Great stuff! High level..thanks for sharing!
Nice one champ👍🏻👍🏻
So fluid... what a joy we can learn from such high level martial artist with a click of a button
I remember back in the day, having to resort to martial art magazines to try and learn new stuff, people have no idea, how freely and easily information is nowadays.
Great,great,kickboxer,good figther,good drills and tutorials,keep going with this chanel,man,thanks from mexico.👍✌
Joe, you could get back and do amazing things in the ring if you want, like seriously 👊👊
Unfortunately he has a medical condition: post concussion syndrome hence the early retirement. On the plus side he is taking the time to share his knowledge and build his brand as a coach.
aperezdeal it's not permanent though, but if i was him i'd never get back in the ring, he's achieved enough already
Montin Yek oh that’s fantastic news! I thought it was permanent. Thank you for the update!
aperezdeal yeah no the symptoms are not permanent, but if he does get concussed again it will probably be worse than the first time, the brain doesn't adapt to trauma like other parts of the body unfortunately, instead it keeps breaking down
Montin Yek ah that was the impression that I was under. I agree with your original comment that he looks great/ sharp. Have a great weekend.
For the love of god, fight again. I can see the fire.
Sempre il migliore. Grazie
Damn u guys make it look so easy haha
It's only a matter of time before you pass Shane Fazen. No disrespect to him though. But I'd take advice from a world champion much faster than some dude with no status as a fighter at all. Keep it coming!
No need to be disrespectful Shane is a good martial artist who works with great fighters on content. You need to remember a lot of the best coaches weren't the best fighters look at firas Zahabi
Really good video.
Great video
Still a beast and the movement is so efficient that can come out of retirement.
Nice seeing kickboxers use the low kick
It's only American kickboxing that doesn't allow low kicks
Nice combos!
Daaaaaaamn - beautiful controlled violence!
Comback fight 2020??
My left ear enjoyed this vid 😅
dope!
👍👍👍
Question: when I kick with the shin, what is the correct position of the foot that is kicking, and should I hold its position rigid or loose?
