I just needed an overview of the pattern to make a wrap dress. So you explain this very well thank you. The possibilities are endless I’ll make long sleeves and a longer dress. But I get the gist and I appreciate the tutorial thank you 😊
Nicely finished and suits you well. It always amazes and fascinates me when others can cut out sleeves without any patterns - I spend time measuring the armhole and drafting up a sleeve which takes me close to 30 minutes. Love your technique and wonder how you do it!
Hi Dianne! Thank you so much! ♥️ After having seen a handful of sleeve patterns, I usually have an idea of the shape/size I need. When in doubt, I just cut it slightly larger than I think I need, and I can always use a few extra gathers at the top/shoulder, or remove a little at the bottom/underarm if needed. 🤷♀️ But it's definitely not for everyone... and I'm maybe a bit more chaotic than some! 😅 Thanks for watching, and happy sewing!!! 🪡🧵✨
Hello! Thanks for watching! ♥️ I'll have to consider that for future videos. For this one, I just did a basic hem (using a zig-zag stitch) on all edges, given I had very limited fabric to work with since it was thrifted 😊Cheers!
Hi Irene! In this case, this shirt was slightly oversized on me so I did not use a seam allowance. However, on many shirts, if you flip it inside out, the seam is exposed so you can trace around that for built-in seam allowance! Otherwise, I typically go for 1/2 inch or about 1 cm. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching! 😊
Ive never seen anyone cut sleeves so effortlessly😮❤
Lovely material 😊
"The Supervisor" 🤣 Loved it! Thanks for a great tutorial & amazing dress!
Mae Shinigami, thank you so much, and thank you for watching!!! 😸

Thank you so much!!! ✨
Beautiful dress., well done out of such a small piece of fabric Next time gather the ruffle first then attach. Your stitches will be stronger then.

Difícil de compreender sua explicação, tudo muito rápido e não mostra as etapas de forma clara.
