Way to go! Now THAT is how you do A how to video. Very good, great job keep up the great work. Hopefully others will see and learn, anf now i am going to your website to order lights.
The 10th Gen Type R cargo area light is located on the passenger side. There is almost no slack in the light wiring (at least on my car) which makes it difficult to replace the bulb. A removal/install tool for mini bulbs makes things a lot easier. Would be a pain to pull the light wiring loose or to break the factory bulb while trying to remove it.
I recently installed Sylvania 194 leds in my 19 civic coupe ex-t. I noticed that once i shut the car off the led bulbs stay lit up ever so slightly. They stay on very dim. If i get out and lock the car they completely go out. Do your bulbs eliminate the phantom lighting issue? Or do i need to install a resistor?
Excellent demonstration thank you. Question I have a 2020 Honda civic sport hatchback trying to install vanity LED lights. However do not see a socket for the lamp. Any suggestions?
Curious, on the front map light area that center spot with the little hole has a little red light behind it, is it possible to swap that for a different color light?
If it is a halogen bulb, then yes you should be able to swap it out. If you like, send us over a photo for reference and we can make a suggestion for a compatible LED. You can reach us at help@precisionled.com.
Yeaaaa I dunno about you guys, but there was no way my fingers could fit enough in that small space to pull out the bulb. BUT remove the two screws at the corners, let the light fixture hang, and it was easy as ever.
What's the difference between standard and premium bulb? Also is the way you do the reverse light and trunk light are the same for the hatch? Lastly what about sun visor and license plate lights?
The new Premium 5730SMD LED bulbs are the next generation of new LEDs. Compared to the older 5050SMDs, these LEDs have 3 times the light output per LED. The 5730 LED chip is designed for maximum light output while the aluminum housing helps to dissipate heat effectively for the longevity of the bulb. The new 5730SMD LEDs have a Constant Current Circuit design which helps maintain brightness if the voltage fluctuates within the circuit and has voltage surge protection up to 18V. And of course, all of our interior 5730 LEDs are backed by our lifetime warranty. Yes, I do believe the reverse and trunk would be the same for the hatch. Also, the sun visors and license plate lights would be stock LED, which you cannot replace as they are soldered to a chip and board.
Thank you for your interest. Here is the proper bulb for the reverse light. Please, be sure to adjust the quantity to 2 - www.precisionled.com/premium-t10-canbus-10smd-5730-led.html

Hey the pieces were perfect I just added this to my hatch. I was wondering do you guys sell the front headlights and the fog lights with led as well? If so please link it.

So the base package already includes the interior lights (map and dome)? I would just need to add the trunk light to replace the stock cargo light correct?
@@PrecisionLED they did,...was able to rectify it changed the fuse but now only one side of the map lights dont work...even swapped the ones that worked into the one not working and still nothing...i saw a few videos regarding the dome light switch button being the faulty part would this be true?
The installation for the 2019 Civic should be very similar, if not identical to the installation shown in the video. Also, here is the proper interior LED kit for your vehicle: www.precisionled.com/honda-civic-premium-led-interior-package-2016-present.html

Unfortunately, you would need existing sockets to perform this upgrade.

Can the license plate lights be done also? I haven’t seen any videos on it yet. 🤔
Mine is already LED
Yes, these are factory LEDs.
Amazing job 👏🏽👏🏽
Thank you for the support!!
Do you have a video for doing the vanity lights on the 10th gen civics?
We don't but we will try to do one in the future!
So the backup light use the same one as the interior light?
This is what I'm wondering!
No, the reverse light would use a larger T10 bulb, which you can find here: www.precisionled.com/premium-t10-canbus-10smd-5730-led.html
Are they all the same type of bulb for the inside, trunk, and reverse lights? what kind of bulbs are they?
We used a T10 fitment which you can find here: www.precisionled.com/premium-t10-canbus-10smd-5730-led.html
The dome light was very difficult for me to take out. I had to push up (quite a bit) then take it out with quite some force.

Maximum large of the bulb for the rear passenger plate? Thanks!!! Nice video
Are you referring to the license plate? If so, these would be factory LEDs. Outside of that, the remainder of the interior uses a T10 fitment.
Do you pull the bulb out or do you twist it out??
Please reference this video on how to remove different bulbs: ruclips.net/video/mXz0e_QB1F4/видео.html
What color lights did you use crystal or cool??
Hi! In this video we used the crystal white (6000K). Thanks for asking!
Where can I get those LED lights, especially for the map and dome, because Honda's factory bulbs are not very bright at all.
You can find the proper LED kit here: goo.gl/XRTTXA
These LEDs would be roughly 3x brighter than your stock halogens.
How about instructions on the license plate lights?
We do have listed the license plate lights would be stock LED, which you cannot swap as they are soldered to a chip and board.
I really want my front map light to be pink, anyone got a recommendation on where to get some? It's just a 2017 honda civic
