This is about as close as we've ever gotten to a Venom documentary, definitely think there should be a wider "story of" for Venom.
Venom's Black Metal was a game changer. Nothing else like it ever existed. When I heard it in 1982, I thought "finally, this is what I've been waiting for. Back then, bands like Discharge and Black Flag were referred to as "hardcore." Venom was sort of a combination of heavy metal and hardcore.
I love Calm Before the Storm because of how different it is for them!
Venom is the first extreme metal band, of all the genre. Before them there was TRex, Slade, Black Sabbath, Queen, Kiss and Judas Priest, Motorhead and Maiden.... Not even close!

Oh for sure the DEVIL"S BLOOD. I fully agree I Would Love to find a good DVD which COVERED VENOM RIGHT FROM THE START.I know they WOULD Sell alot and i will say millions of dvds on the bands HISTORY. I LOVE THEM AND I HAVE EVER SINCE I WAS A LATE TEEN AND HEARD THEM FOR THE FIRST TIME I WAS in a Bigger town than mined at a BUDDYS fathers shed that he let his son GARY make into like a little spot. and we were ALL as HIGH AS KITES AFTER DOING HITS OF ACID & DRINKING & HOT KNIFING BLACK HASH...--OH THE GOOD OLD DAYS..LOL--- And GARY WAS playing WELCOME TO HELL ALBUM ON CASSETTE TAPE. SO I COPIED THAT ALBUM OVER TO ANOTHER BLANK CASSETTE TAPE AND I WAS HOOK ON VENOM RIGHT FROM THAT MOMENT AND I AM 52 YEARS OLD . NOW I STILL LOVE LISTENING TO THEM. I LOVE VENOM INC ALSO TO THEY ARE MORE VENOM THAN CRONOS IN MY POINT OF VIEW. I LOVE DEMONOLATION MAN. AND MANTAS & ABBADON. EVEN THOUGH ABBADON IS NOT WITH NOW. WHICH SUCKS BUT I STILL THEM.. There is never any drummers. One reason I started. I seen pro black metal bands hiring alternative kids to do drums even its so bad. Think that may have been abbath
Venom inc. sound great. The guitar/drums in Cronos version don't sound like Venom.

Dont Burn the Witch and Buried Alive are classic tracks as well as the other stuff on 'Black Metal'. 'At War With Satan' is cool too.

T Rex, Slade, Queen, Kiss, judas priest... And from that came Venom... With That combination of bands I would expect something like Muttley Crew or Extreme To come out, but never fucking Venom!.

I was looking for a full bio of V.E.N.O.(fucking M. I don’t know what the fuck I just watched? I guess there is a band called Venom Inc. ? Only thing I understood was T.Rex., The Sweet( my old buds) and Slade! Who wears a shirt that says I love Jesus WTF? Venom was Cronos, Abbadon and Mantis! I saw them at the Ritz in NYC! I had all the original albums and 12”s., and 45’s. That is who I was looking for. They should have a proper video of their history. They were the next step after MotorHead. They changed music. F- slayer! Bunch of noise. Only made one good album, their first. Americans always ruin things. Look what they did to NWOBHM. Made Metal a joke! So now I am going to check out Venom Inc, wish me luck. My shirt says….I Love Satan😄!
