Mark Stevens, Morris Ankrum, Margaret Field, John Qualen, Rex Reason, Lee Van Cleef and Jack Elam. Those are some great talents to have in one half hour show! This is episode 3 of The Forsaken Westerns, an original TV series produced by Westerns On The Web Productions. The Forsaken Westerns series contains episodes of TV shows that were never broadcast or have not been broadcast in as many as 65 years. Almost lost forever, these rare television film treasures are now being released and uploaded. Wow..what a cast...and this was just a serial Western...but, of course, the Westerns back in the 1950's and before, were probably the most popular and successful movies and t.v. shows we had. We sure have fallen far away from those years.

Oh boy did Lee Van Cleef and Jack Elam look young back in the day. But you could definitely see some of their future talent.

I am enjoying these so very much. I remember a lot of westerns when we got a TV in the 1950s. I am still a fan. I also recall seeing some of the same actors at the movie house that cost 10 cents to get in during those days

"an impressive cast and John Qualen was in a lot of films and television shows
he appeared in several John Wayne films and guest starred on many tv shows
he's best known from the Andy Griffith show as the supposed jinx that Barney
and the other townspeople of Mayberry were leary of."-🤠🐴🌐..

John Qualen was a John Ford 'stock company' member, most notable perhaps in The Searchers, but also in other great Westerns (non-Ford) Rio Bravo & The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance

Director John Ford's 'stock company' regular (The Searchers, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance etc), John Qualen as the hotel clerk at 2.20 (by golly).
Morris Ankrum, a regular villain in Westerns, plays Mark Warren.
Mark Stevens, playing Steve Dexter, is unsuited to the role.

The spanish kid playing cards was on rawhide.while jack Elam was great as the bad guy thought he was even better doing comedy like support your local gunfighter and sheriff with james garner.

I think you have Victor Millan confused with Robert Cabal. Cabal played Jesus “Hey Soos” Patines.

Poor girl - a 25 year old "Old Maid", considering women got married at 16 and had 5 or 6 kids by age 25.

I noticed something at 10:05 that bothers me in most westerns. He had loosened the cinch before leaving his horse, just tightened it. Now while I knoe horses are well cared for in movies, italways troubles me that guys ride in get off toss the rein over the rail and walk of. A real horseman would see to wate and loosen the cinbch! not leave the prop mant to do it. LOL

AND the horseman riding past the incoming stage had his boots stretched out wide , with the toes up, the way you do when you've been in the saddle a long time.

The female in this show is terrible. Either she was a relative of someone involved in the production, or had “special talents” that won her the part.
