    Matt, you are amazing! I aways come away from your videos with golden nuggets of restoration possibilities. Your attention to detail and incisive observations, coupled with innovative
    solutions to both common and unusual repair issues are remarkable and tremendously helpful. Thank you.

    Form my amateur dent removal experience I know that the job requires not only the right tools and skill but a good strong repairer arm as well. Obviously Matt is the man with some good balls (and not only on the rods).

    23:00 ... Soldering tip if you don't mind. A piece of wood, same shape as a sharpened pencil. You can push tiny amounts of solder across the joint.

    Hi, Matt. I'm enjoying the series of videos you're doing on this horn. Where do you get the "heat absorbent gel" you use here? I've seen you and a few other people use gels/clays like this, but I've never really been able to find anything quite like it when shopping for supplies.

    00:38, part 4 :P ... You need a tool with an end the same shape as the face that meets the tone hole .. of the orange pad.

    Hey, so I firstly, I love your videos. I do have a question. One of the posts on my saxes got pushed in a tiny bit. Is that hard to fix? I tried undoing the dent myself, but I ended up accidentally pushing out a tiny bit of metal outward, not undoing the dent. Is his hard or expensive to fix?

    Do the jaws of your pliers have some leather face or something? Or are they just smooth, No teeth.

    • @jamesj2977
      @jamesj2977 5 лет назад

      Not Matt, but the pliers with red handles are Knipex parallel pliers. You can find them many places. The ones with black jaws are the parallel pliers from MusicMedic. Both have smooth jaws
