Saudi Crown Prince rejects most Hadith, & Wahhabism!

- Do you agree with Mohammed bin Salman (MBS), the Crown Prince and de facto ruler of Saudi Arabia, concerning his solution for eradicating extremists from Saudi Arabia, and thus creating a presence for his country to demand a place within the Western world, even possibly lead it at some point in the future?
There is a problem, however. If the authorities for Islam today, especially those who are responsible for Islam's holy places, as MBS is, think that they can rid themselves of their extremist problem, they need to do better than simply turn their backs on the Islamic Traditions, and more specifically the problematic Hadith as their solution.
What's more they better not replace those Traditions with the Qur'an as a better antidote, for two important reasons...
To begin with, the Qur'an has the same problem as the Traditions concerning its Historical authenticity, in that both of them have no original 7th century texts to depend on, and are thus based solely on "hearsay", so that both sets of literature are completely dependent on graded categories of authenticity (i.e. the 3 categories of Sahih, Hassan, and Da'if for the Traditions, and the 30 categories of the Qira'at and Riwayat for the Qur'an), which in turn are based not on content, or theology, or even practical applicability, but merely on which one was the most popular (i.e. the Qira'at or Hadith read or used by the most people).
The second problem concerns their relevancy for today.
It is understandable that MBS must be concerned with the shear wealth of embarrassing problems found within the pages of the Hadith literature, and understandable that he would like to rid Islam of 90% of it. But why then turn to the Qur'an as an alternative, when it turns out to be one of the most violent and misogynistic books claiming to be scripture in existence. In fact, possibly even more so than the Traditions themselves.
Consequently, it is simply not relevant or even applicable for the 21st century at all, neither for Saudi Arabia, and certainly not for those of us living in the West.
There's really only one solution for both Mohammed bin Salman, as well as for every Muslim, and that is Jesus Christ, and His Gospel.
So "come home to Him"

Hello Mr. Smith, I’m a Saudi and I totally agree that if we were a Christians we would be in much better situation.
I hope one day Saudi Arabia will be recognized as a Christian Nation, I know it’s hard but it’s not impossible, there are a growing number of Saudi Christians inside the Kingdom we but our trust in the holy spirit to make that possible. Please pray for my people.

He said: Bring Torah if you are truthful. They brought it and recited it until when they came to the verse pertaining to stoning, the person who was reading placed his hand on the verse pertaining to stoning, and read (only that which was) between his hands and what was subsequent to that. Abdullah b. Salim who was at that time with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Command him (the reciter) to lift his hand. He lifted it and there was, underneath that, the verse pertaining to stoning."
so again the wisdom is to teach them a lesson, that even if the verse is verbally abrogated in our book we will still implement its rulings forever till the day of judgement unlike those who don't abide by the law of their book and tried to hide it even though it was it is verbally mentioned. And lastly the verse that speaks about lashing.. it refers to those who are not married, it's a separate verse with a different case. Abu Baker Muhammad companion and the First Khalifa of Islam burned all the Hadith and only kept around max 500 to 600 Hadith. He was not called a Kafir or Shia by anyone.

What you will find is that a false claim attributed to him that says he burned 500 hadiths for worrying that he might die and that some of the ahadith were taken from people that he trusted but were not the same.. since he missed to hear those ahadith directly from the prophet (pbuh), and actually this lie was circulated by some shiaa liars and ahlu al-bidaa' (people of innovation).. from a book that the writer (imam al-dhahabi) himself clearly stated that it is not true and it's false in the same line right after reporting that.
And he is not the only one who said that.. even ibn kathir said this is a weird and strange report from this facade, and Ali ibn saleh who was one of the narrator in the chain is unknown because there's more than 10 thousand sahih hadith of the prophet not only 500 and also Abu bakr himself reported many ahadith that are still existing to this day, It's a shame for those who bring this as an argument without mentioning it's weakness and rejection and false which is mentioned in the same book. They have no respect for their viewers nor for themselves!

Convolution of GOD's straightforward laws has always been Satan's number one agenda. Satan has managed to do so for centuries polluting the religions and encouraging humans to replace GOD's laws by manmade laws which have diverted people from worshipping GOD alone. Muslims following hadith and sunnah (Satanic words) have deviated from Quran and polluted the religion to an extent that every Sharia Law and practice opposes Quran. The only solution for their uncountable problems is discarding all Hadith and Sunnah and upholding Quran alone which condemns injustice, protects women's rights, promotes forgiveness and charity and sets up the laws for maximum individual freedom. Ironically West lives by Quranic laws and Middle East opposes everything in the Quran. The result is pretty obvious!

The biggest problem Muslims did is to translate Qur'an, Hadiths into other languages because now people have know the true color of Islam.
These books were surviving because non Muslim and non Arab Muslim never knew t before what is it their books due to language problem.

MBS abrogating hadith, for a start, then abrogating Koran and Islam entirely. This is his obvious path, to a secular Saudi Arabia which can join the West.

The problem here is that Islam has a history of secular authorities being deposed for not living up to the religious requirements of their positions. Its what happened in Adulusia, its what happened repeatedly in north africa, the Ottoman Empire and its what the Abbasids pulled when they overthrew he Umayyads. The house of Saud and Wahabism are so closely linked, that it will be curious to see how he deals with the legal opinions that are based on these weak hadith. If he wanted to cheat, the other schools he could draw on would be Hanbali and Salafi which are pretty closely aligned. I'd love to see him draw upon the old Hanafi school which would potentially allow for the consumption of alcohol.

He said: Bring Torah if you are truthful. They brought it and recited it until when they came to the verse pertaining to stoning, the person who was reading placed his hand on the verse pertaining to stoning, and read (only that which was) between his hands and what was subsequent to that. Abdullah b. Salim who was at that time with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Command him (the reciter) to lift his hand. He lifted it and there was, underneath that, the verse pertaining to stoning."
so again the wisdom is to teach them a lesson, that even if the verse is verbally abrogated in our book we will still implement its rulings forever till the day of judgement unlike those who don't abide by the law of their book and tried to hide it even though it was it is verbally mentioned. And lastly the verse that speaks about lashing.. it refers to those who are not married, it's a separate verse with a different case. Included in the written statements are the person's address, phone number, birth date and a copy of their drivers license. The court will confirm that person is real.
In Hadith's, there are names of so and so, but no other proof that SO AND SO actually existed. Without this PROOF, the judge will throw out my witness statements. Because Hadith's are written 200 years AFTER Muhammad, with no way to prove who the list of people are, they are considered HERESAY.

We can check this through other historical sources, total number of biographies included is close to 40 thousand, including both men and women, reliable and unreliable narrators.
Bukhari also authored two other books of history, al-Tarikh al-Awsat (The Medium History) and al-Tarikh al-Saghir (The Small History).
And al-bukhari is just one compiler amongst many other hadiths compilers, there's many of them we take our source from 6 books of them by different compilers so unfortunately you misunderstanding of how the chain of narration works just like the Quranists (those who only accept Qur'an and rejects hadith because they may not like something .. we don't just base our belief in what the last person said or claimed.. I have my own chain of narration in hadith from scholars that goess all the way back to the prophet (pbuh) I can claim that I heard something from a person but it can be true or not.. but if I tell you something which I heard from someone and someone else will come and tell you that they heard something in your neighborhood and then another trustworthy neighbor will come to you and tell you the same thing they witnessed with their own eyes.. you have no reason to reject what they said to you, the same thing with hadith and its (isnad) as I mentioned before there's an entire science behind it.. it's not just like you think.. it is way beyond that.. we have something called 'ilm a rejal which is (a biography of each of the narrators) we know about their lives and everything we know who are the reliable muhadithūn who has strong memories and we know the mudalisun and liars amongst them.. also there's many conditions for a hadith to be accepted and qualify as a hadith..
And the claim that "hadith was written 200 years after" is a lie! Bukhari compiled his own Ahadith 200 years after but before him we have written ahadith during the time of the prophet we have their sahifat (manuscripts dated to the time of the prophet) bukhari is just like other hadith compilers but a good one, before him were many .I will end with a quote from the Orientalist and preist of church of England David Samuel margoliouth " Muslims are right to be proud of the science of hadith"

He said: Bring Torah if you are truthful. They brought it and recited it until when they came to the verse pertaining to stoning, the person who was reading placed his hand on the verse pertaining to stoning, and read (only that which was) between his hands and what was subsequent to that. Abdullah b. Salim who was at that time with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Command him (the reciter) to lift his hand. He lifted it and there was, underneath that, the verse pertaining to stoning."
so again the wisdom is to teach them a lesson, that even if the verse is verbally abrogated in our book we will still implement its rulings forever till the day of judgement unlike those who don't abide by the law of their book and tried to hide it even though it was it is verbally mentioned. And lastly the verse that speaks about lashing.. it refers to those who are not married, it's a separate verse with a different case. My sincere advice to whoever is reading this, don't rely on people like jay they're know for lying and twisting source because islam is living rent free in their head and they're making money out of this so they don't care if they deceive you.

I see a point that Jay Smith didn't address: MBS said that the room for interpretation was always there, not qualifying who should do the interpreting. If he means that everyone is entitled to interpret the Quran it seems like a major change. As a Protestant converting to Catholicism, I can see how this is similar to the reformation, since by now all Protestants are their own popes (of course with the help of the Holy Spirit, but so has the pope). The effect of such a change is not hard to predict - you'll get further splits with Islam. It will weaken Islam further and modernize it.
There might even be protestant muslims in the future.

"Mutawatir": a group of people said the hadith to a group of people who told it to a group of people..

"Khabar": the chain is made of 1 person or a group saying the Hadith to another, but the chain is interrupted with an unknown person..
Each of these 3 can be Sahih, Hassan or Daif..

Which brings the hadith tradition to a small fraction of its current number..
MBS does not take into account the different readings of the Qoran existing today as a decisive factor that discards the authenticity and the credibility of the Qoran all together as you're rightfully pointing..

The hadiths on the end time have mostly been qualitative without a timeline and was more a reaction to Christian opinions of the end time which was also qualitative and without a timeline.

Thank you for this information, as it is very informative on Islam today, MBS, and the Quran. I do wish MBS well, as I believe that he wants Islam to reform and that won't be easy, especially given Saudi Arabia's history.
He wants Saudi Arabia to reform not Islam... He wants Saudi Arabia to be like Europe/US where the world looks up to and saving peoples lives and making great breakthroughs in medicine and science
Give MBS a chance to bring in a single change, which is not brought since 1400 years. I really appreciate his move to eradicate the hatred and violence in the religion. It may take another 100 years, when these Muslims realize that they are following a frictional book, which has hate for all other on the planet.
