I finished Blocks 1 & 2 a couple of days ago except for trimming the blocks. One of my goals is to learn to use the rulers, so I'm going to practice on scrap fabric before cutting the actual blocks. I appreciate your tips and step by step directions.
Happy to help Betty. In the first video of most projects, I show how to use the Pop Rulers. I don't recall if it's in this one since I made it last year, but several videos. You'll do great! Practicing on felt or scrap fabric is a great idea.
Cristin, you so amaze me! You are feeling yucky and yet you look great, you are doing tutorials!! Wow!! I just can't imagine having so much energy. I will pray for your health and that you will be good as new real soon!! thank you
Cristin, Gentle hugs that you feel better soon. My goal is to work on feeling better also but this is a lifetime goal to always try to be healthy! :) Hugs!
I agree that it is a lifetime goal Shannon! I learned a lot from this one. I should have realized with the cancer treatments that my immune system was not strong enough for this bug. I knew the kids were sick before they came, but since we were hosting, I didn't want to tell them not to come. It hit all of us very hard, but definitely getting better each day!
I have my kit and plan on getting started asap. I do have to attach the binding on a baby quilt first....then back to fun embroidery projects! Feel better soon!
Are you referring to the quilting not fitting or the Merry Christmas design? And steps 2 & 3 of quilting? Or of the design? Did you get a chance to watch the tutorial by chance? I go over the issue of the 6x10 hoop in detail starting at 8:25 in this video. I mentioned taking out steps 3 & 4 if needed, but nothing about 2 & 3, so I'm not sure what you're asking about. Can you give more information? If the QUILTING design doesn't fit in your 6x10 hoop, which it won't and I explain why in full detail in the tutorial and how to fix that. Let me know how I can help further.
I don't recall off the top of my head, but I think the quilting was 4x10 for that one? If so and if your largest hoop is 6x10, then yes, you'd take out steps 3 & 4 of of the quilting designs that have a 10" quilting design if your 6x10 hoop is your largest hoop. I hope this helps.

Finish it up so we can play Renee ;)
Do we need to delete steps 2 & 3 for the merry xmas block? It’s too big for my hoop?

@@CristinCreates Thank You you I did 3 & 4 on the cactus. Should I do that for the merry Christmas block.
