- Here we go again y'all, another alleged middle eastern dupe of a much more expensive viral perfume, Bianco Latte by Giardini Di Toscana. Does Taskeen Caramel Cascade by Paris Corner live up to the dupe hype?

Like ALWAYS I will do an update on how this fragrance has changed after a month or so (usually in my end-of-month videos). I have always talked about how middle eastern fragrances (and many others) smell right out of the box and I will probably CONTINUE to do this because it documents how much a fragrance can change with exposure to oxygen and MATURATION. It’s unfortunate that as Arabic perfumes have blown up in the West, companies are releasing them before they’ve fully developed to keep up with demands. Waiting for stuff to get back in stock can suck but it defeats the purpose if you can’t use it for weeks. They used to be beast mode and amazing right away and I’d prefer they fully develop them under controlled circumstances in house before selling them. 😌
You are smelling the ethyl maltol. Its what perfumers use to create a honey, caramel type note. Even high end perfumers use it. If they over do it , it can smell like acetone.
No. it just needs to macerate.
I got a full bottle of bianco latte because in canada we have an online store called parfum exquis and it was only $150.00 which was my top limit but I absolutely love it. I got caramel cascade also and it was really close for me once I let it dry down.
it's now $195 but thank you. I'm also in Canada and new to fragrances. I don't know if I'll make a niche order soon but they have a lot of variety and sample options

Thank you for the honest review on both fragrances. Ran here after seeing Bianco Latte in the title, I'm in the same boat its super expensive here in Canada. After hearing what you said about the very prominent honey note I'm not sure its even a wishlist item anymore so thank you for saving me a small fortune trying to find a bottle!
I will do an update on if/how it changes with some oxidization/maturation time. That will probably be a better judge

Phlur isn’t available in Australia so I rely on decants from overseas lol 😭 probably wouldn’t get them anytime soon!!
It’s too new, manufactured last month. Spray some 5. Ore sprays and let it sit for a couple of weeks then let us know if it changes , hopefully it does😅
For the most part, I agree with what you said because I’ve actually seen magic happen in fragrances after they macerate, but this one just didn’t change enough for me and I let it sit for over a month. I still found it nice but nothing like the one inspired by, ended up selling it Even added a little sample for whoever bought it of the real one

My bottle, first spray was amazing. The next day I sprayed it and I got mushrooms. I still get mushrooms with vanilla now and it’s been like a month since I’ve had it. 😢
Oh no!! It was probably the juice chilling in the atomizer is my guess, perhaps a preview of what the fragrance will smell like with time?

hmmm, maybe this is one that definitely needs to mature a little more. Mine does smell soft. Also does anyone know if shipping in the warmer weather helps the perfume age faster before it arrives to your door? versus in the winter when it is shipped cold? because I have noticed my middle easterns smell better upon arrival now versus in the when they arrived in the middle of winter?
Yes I’m sure it will change with time. I mention this in the video. I’m not sure how large of an impact shipping will be tbh

Hmmm this Paris Corner fragrance has me baffled. I have seen it for as cheap as $10.95 - $22.95 and then pricier on other websites. Perhaps the Chinese are duping the dupes? lol I hope yours changes for the better as it matures??

It definitely does and she should know that. Reviewers should never review a Middle Eastern fragrance right away. It needs to be sprayed about ten times then sit for a month THEN review it. It's frustrating that this is the kind of content she is giving us when she should know better.
Yes I mention this in the video but I always like to share how the fragrance smells out of the box because often people will take that as the final product and resell when they MIGHT NOT know how much it can/will change
I'm not a fan of caramel cascade, I get mushrooms in the opening 😢 I'm hoping it will change after maceration....

Got it! I have the same batch as Zurri. I smell a lot of caramel and alcohol. I don’t get any weird acrylic smell. I just smell caramel and sweetness.
I also got the Ard Al Zaafaran Yum Gelato dupe and that smells amazing! I also picked up Rave Now Woman , Burberry Her dupe. Haven’t opened that yet though.
It needs to macerate. C'mon now. You should know this by now.
I mention that in the video xx I have always documented how these scents smell straight out of the box and will continue to do so to document how the scents can change. I always update after some time, if you watch my channel you know this 😘
