The reason why I believe your old Mac’s internal storage was getting so full when you are not using it much is that when your memory becomes full it starts utilizing the ssd for more memory to keep up so that’s why I think this is happening this is why it’s recommended to get more memory(ram) like 16gb or 24gb to make sure this doesn’t happen

how long did it take to receive this custom config from the time you ordered it? i wanted to upgrade the unified memory but don’t want to wait over a month for it to arrive so i’ve just pick up a stock configuration and hoping i don’t regret it 😅
It did take a month exactly (just double checked the dates - ordered on 12/15 & received it 1/14) however it did come a week or so earlier than the estimated time on the website! 🤍 tbh I haven’t noticed a super major diff so far for the unified memory , I feel like the stock config should be good bc the m1 chip is already such a huge upgrade (at least for me) if you do a lot of multitasking with apps, you might consider waiting tho?! Idk! Hope that helps 🥰🥰

I showed a mini tutorial - ish in this video ruclips.net/video/3rntloLtwgY/видео.html but basically I saved a bunch of photos from Pinterest (all are on my Pinterest which is linked in the description if you like the actual photos!) & then I added them to picmonkey to collage them (you can use canva as well, it’s free) and then saved it! 🤍🥰
