What a magnificent little railway! I've been wanting to get to Telford for the annual IPMS show for decades. Yet another reason to make the journey across the pond
Didn't know about this little railway, until I read about it in conjunction with the SVR. Would be great to see this running all the way to Buildwas Abbey, which is possible in the future when they leave the railway infrastructure intact after the closure and demolishment of Ironbridge Power Station. Would be a far more enjoyable stop than the northern extension now (further north makes no sense as the scenery is not getting better there), although tunnel thrash is a possibility now (nice with their 104 units) In the further future it would be possible to rebuild the line to coalport, where the trains have to change end in Buildwas (and in a very wishfull thinking scenario the SVR extends north to Coalport and both lines join!)
5:00 Did you have to walk through the wall of trees to get this shot? I asking because I'm wanting to do a video on the Polar Express event at some point..
Unfortunately almost two years of pandemic didn't help. Polar Express cancelled due to the pandemic also delayed things along. So lack of funding doesn't help, We're trying. Also more volunteers would be amazing to help us along.
@@stormyweatherbabe yes it’s been a tough time …. I wish I had the time to spare … I’m just so busy these days 1/3 of my time currently is spent working in the south Atlantic and the other 2/3 prepping for the next 1/3 rd
A DMU hauled by a saddle tank. Nice livery on the DMU too. Hope they run trains to Ironbridge one day.

Wellington to Craven Arms, eventually? That'd be great!
never going to happen two much destroyed
VERY GOOD
Why the title ‘Wellington to Craven arms’?
Sadly nothing seems to be happening at all on this line which is a real shame.
