In Portugal, we cut picanha into very thin strips.
So in its preparation, it only needs a few seconds to be ready to eat.

Agreed. If you're cutting steak, you cut with the grain into each individual steaks. Then, when you cook the steak, you can cut across the grain THEN. It's much more tender that way.
