Two of the most well-liked automobiles in India are the Maruti Suzuki Fronx and Baleno. Both vehicles have a decent balance of performance, features, and fuel economy. Which one, though, is best for you?
In this video, we compare the Fronx and Baleno on many criteria and take a deeper look at both.

We also offer our opinion on which car is, in our opinion, the superior option.
Design
Compared to the Baleno, the Fronx has a more SUV-like appearance. It stands taller, has a more noticeable grille, and has bigger wheels. On the other side, the Baleno sports a design that is more hatchback-like. It features a more streamlined silhouette and subtle appearance.
Performance and engine
A 1.0-liter petrol turbocharged engine that generates 110 horsepower and 170 Newton-meters of torque powers the Fronx. A 1.2-liter petrol engine with naturally aspirated combustion powers the Baleno and generates 83 horsepower and 113 Newton-meters of torque.
The Fronx performs slightly better than the competition. Compared to the Baleno's 12.3 seconds, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km per hour in 10.5 seconds. The Baleno, however, uses less fuel. Compared to the Fronx's 20 kilometres per litre, it offers a fuel efficiency of 22 kilometres per litre.
Price
The Fronx costs a bit more than the Baleno. The Fronx has a beginning price of 8.75 lakhs, compared to the Baleno's starting price of 7.99 lakhs.
Baleno has already shaken up the market with its features that are first in segment.
Maruti Suzuki Baleno was always known for offering a lot of value in the after market and the legendary Maruti suzuki after sales service which is even better at NEXA dealerships, so now you have more reasons to get the 2022 baleno over its rivals like the TATA Altroz and Hyundai I20.
Maruti Suzuki Baleno was never known for safety and had a lot of issues during accidents for its body structure and build quality, has it changed in the new 2022 Baleno?
Maruti says they have worked on the structure of the body and 50 kgs have been added for better stability and better safety you also get an option to have 6 air bags in your car.
This is great news for those concerned with safety and would not consider Maruti Suzuki for its poor build quality and prefer Tata but still after driving the car for a long time I did not get the same kind of feel that I get with Volkswagen or Tata cars.
The suspension has been retuned and reworked as well, you get lot more composure at higher speeds and at city speeds you get lot more comfort this makes 2022 Baleno an excellent all round car.
what left me impressed is that this is not just an evolution over the old Baleno, this is completely new car.
You have a lot of colours to choose from, so you can pick the one you like. You can also customise your Baleno as per your liking NEXA also offers a lot of accessories for the new Baleno.
The new product from Maruti Suzuki may look like a mere facelift but once you drive the all new Baleno you will be impressed with its stability, new suspension, host of useful features like the 360 degree Camera, completely new interior design and quality that gives you a premium feel.

Hi can you please provide the comparison videos of Tata punch accomplished S manual and Hyundai exter SX manual?
Missing your feedback on your latest comparison videos about the AMT variants on punch, exter or fronx/baleno.
1-liter Fronx with Boosterjet engine, Torque Converter and 6 gears is a different car. It is the most powerful engine brought by Maruti. the ease of driving, punch and style is really enjoyable. Maruti has priced this car slightly on upper side, but Fronx Alpha Automatic is a superior car, having no comparison with Baleno.

You noticed the same thing that I did. Baleno top variant with all features. But Fronx's top model with 1.2L engine doesn't have all that features. There should be a Alpha 1.2L model.

Not providing fronx 1.2 in alpha trim is a marketing strategy, Suzuki didnt want to kill baleno by introducing fronx, thats why they didnt provide that option. They are forcing to switch to turbo engines if want alpha trim

Build quality is more in fronx ?????
Very good video. In my list fronx 1.2 is there because of grohnd clearence. But no cruise control in delta + too is stopping me. Instead fronx baleno alpha is option now. Exter is providing smooth engine, cruise control, paddle shifters too. But performance is lag. I test driven, not satisfied much. But my mind says automatic and cruise control and paddle shifters are necessary for your second car. Exter is having everything. Performance point of view lacks. Now i have to choose in between beleno and exter.

In between two fronx may be better option because of engine performance. Cruise control we can buy from outside and install in fronx at price 27 k from aha cruise. In exter, engine lag in midrange between 2000 and 3000 rpm. Actually power required at that level. May be i choose fronx. If I skip fronx i will go for brezza vxi automatic.

Don't think so. AC etc all are of Baleno. Only engine tuning and GC plus looks are different.
2 airbags, no rear wiper and defogger, no rear ac wents. Wtf maruti! Even at 12 lakhs ppl would have gone for this over 1 liter turbo which is my maruti handicaped it. 😢

Maruti k series 1.2 is a naturally aspirated engine..vw comes with turbo so cannot be compared.
