He didn't ask the cop to deliver that one too, he had him cancel the pick-up.

Why are cops randomly scanning license plates? I thought you need reasonable suspicion of a traffic violation for that. So, we're supposed to applaud them as heroes for delivering the food, after they possibly violated policy or the actual law on this driver. Most warrants come from people missing their mail anyway....usually remedied by reissue of a mandatory court appearance. Arrests seem unnecessary because they are from a citizens perspective, but pilice love them because it goes as a positive mark on their service records and it creates revenue for the department as well as the corrections division.

Because they can and if you would of read the description the individual had an outstanding warrant. Have some common sense.

First off, it was actually a security camera on a campus that read his plate and made a notification, not an actual officer. Second, the license plate is on the outside of the vehicle making it publicly accessible to be read by anyone or anything so isn't breaking any types of law. Felony warrants aren't usually issued because they miss a court date for a traffic citation. Those are considered a misdemeanor. A felony warrant means he did something pretty bad.

You don’t need suspicion in any state to scan a plate. Warrants are issued for not taking care of a fine or for other legal matters you should be fully aware of, blaming not receiving mail is ridiculous. You obviously have an issue with police in general by your comments. I agree that police shouldn’t be used in this way, scanning plates to enforce fines but your take is laughable.

@@apoxapexAmericans, and their freedom of speech, I’d be jealous too. You can face criminal charges for a lot of your comments you make on RUclips in your country 😂
