Hey Shweta! As we know that IIM Banglore is setting 2022 CAT paper. So can you make a video on their past year paper pattern and what difficulty level + types of questions we can expect for each section? It would be a great help for CAT aspirants
Bangalore set the paper in 2016…during those days question paper were not published on public domain. So no body exactly knows. Most of the questions that u see from 2016 are memory based which aren’t reliable, mainly in varc and lrdi.
Hello mam! This is Pujitha . I regularly follow your channel and strategies for the preparation of CAT examination. Mam I'm aiming to do MBA in agriculture which is otherwise called as FABM. Mam , it would be very helpful if you share some details about : 1. Colleges offering the programme 2 .Cat percentile required to get seat in IIMS. 3. Cat percentile required to get into non-IIMS 4. Career after persuing MBA in agriculture 5. Any other useful information I know what I have asked for is really a huge information. But it would be really helpful if you guide US 🙏 THANK YOU MAM.
Hi Shweta, I was going through your Golden Book for Quants. Just wanted to know, did you really memorize all the numbers till 30 cube & each and every fraction like 5/7 value? I can see that you have listed those down in your formula book. I remember 1/7 , but not specifically 5/7. Obviously it would help me to do calculations faster if I can recall it accurately and fast. But is it necessary? And did it help you?
Hey! Hi, I am a fresher and I'm in search of this query. You just explained it in detail. Thank you so much. :) and keep on posting videos like this. It will definitely help a new candidate.
Can you please create the same analysis for XAT. SNAP, NMAT, IIFT and CMAT ? It will be very helpful. This video was amazing to understand where I am currently and what should I target now. 👍
Thank you shweta di for making and sharing such wonderful content with us. Long time I haven't commented but I am your secret admirer really.... I see each and every video of yours and get motivated. Thank you for all the videos and effort you put, I appreciate you.♥️♥️ This is the first time I am requesting something if it is possible then please share a video for reserved category students as well (about cut off, percentile required and seats)🥺🥺
Thank you so much, Mokshaa :D That truly means a lot!! I'd love to create more videos that could help you. I generally don't talk about the cut offs/seats/percentile required because this information can be found online on the official websites of the colleges you'd like to apply to. If you need any help with prep related strategies, feel free to add a comment.

@Shweta Arora Hello di, even I am having a similar issue as @Prayash Das. I'll just let you know the answers to your qs below. Would be great if you could help me. 1) Are you able to solve the same sets after the mock under no time restriction? Most sets NO but a few YES. I look for one clue generally and then i try to solve it. (DOnt know if this is a correct approach) 2) Are you able to go through the 4 sets and understand their statements? YES very much. I am able to understand and note down the method and tables reqd for solving the set. 3) Is your order of set selection as per easy-moderate and then difficult? YES. In previous mocks, it was a struggle, but now i Have got a hang of it. 4)Are you able to find the starting point of the set - the constraint that helps decode the set? NO, this is the main issue for me, i struggle to find how to start solving the set and how to use the clues to the fullest. And i even find it hard when there are 2-3 ways of doing it like in seating arrangement when there are more than 2-3 cases, its difficult.
Thanks a lot for sharing these, Drishti. By this exercise, you can easily pin-point the issue - the inability to find the starting point or solve the question in general. In most sets, there are multiple starting points, you take up all of them one by one, and all of them lead to a dead end after some time. That's the time to combine the 2-3 starting points solved till whatever extent and use them to connect the dots. I don't know if this is making sense, but most DILR sets have multiple starting points. You need not spend too much time on one point when you face a dead end, that's a clue to move to the next starting point. Practicing is the only thing that can help when you're in such a situation. If you're unable to get the sets right, solve them under untimed scenario again. Analyse mocks. With more and more practice, the reasoning ability should develop, after that it'll only take a look to spot the multiple starting points and begin solving.
I have been watching ur videos frm a month a I see that all of ur video is very helpful to me..💙thnks fr making such video and clearing my doubts....once again thnk u so much💙💙...
Hi, Thank you so much for this video. Also, the recommended book is really useful. The quote in the background is also so beautiful and is so much needed today, I had a terrible mock day. As a follow up guidance from you, just a question, was there some super bad day in your preparation as well, when your mock score drastically fell to as low as 25-30s, in the middle of the preparation, when things were going good in the prep. And if yes, how to ignore it and move forward with equal enthusiasm. And if not, then please guide how to move forward from this fall down? Thank you so much :')
Hey Priyanshu, thank you so much for the kindest words! And trust me, I hear you! There were some days like these, in fact one of those days was right before my CAT exam day. Mock taking is very similar to making YT videos. Some of my videos don't do well and that hurts because of the effort involved. But, the only thing that can ensure the next one does well is analysis of what went wrong. The more I do that, the more certain I become of the next one doing well. Hi ma'am. I'm a btech grad with a cgpa of 8.88 and dgpa of 8.99. Now my issue is how do i calculate my percentage? Should I use cgpa or my dgpa. In the University website they haven't mentioned any such formula. Just a pdf is upload with stating percentage conversion and the contents of the pdf is as follows: To Whom It May Concern Ref. No.: Date: This is to certify that a seven point grading system on a basis of 10 is being followed in Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal (formerly Known as West Bengal University of Technology) which may be measured as per the following scale: Grade Point %marks( minimum ass) 6.25 - 55 6.75 -. 60 7.25.-. 65 7.75. - 70 8.25. - 75 The clause (iv) of Chapter 1, Part-2, First Regulation of West Bengal University of Technology states: Quote There shall be no class/division awarded to a student either at semester or degree level. Unquote Now till date the university used to assign dgpa on the degree from which our seniors used to substract 0.75 and then multiply with 10 to get the percentage but now in our provisitional certificate they have assigned cgpa. However there is formula for calculating dgpa given at the back side of certificate. Now I'm confused how to calculate my percentage. Please help ma'am.
Hey Shweta. A small doubt- why do the scores of the 3 sections not add up to the overall scores shown in the last column. At- 00:35. Thanks for the video though!
Hi didi , awesome as always. Specific request to make RC video how to do it within time.like each rc is taking min 10 min that way can do only 2/3 rc that's scaring me...as there's no accuracy too...so specific one on rc within 7 min or so
Ideally, 8 mins per RC is good. 10 for now is also great. Just focus on accuracy instead, the attempts will increase now. Bringing the mins from 10 to 8 shouldn't be a challenge with more and more mock taking.
Mam also make a video on facing mock testes confidently ..because i am affraid of the word itself i.e. mocktest ...so how can i prepare myself for facing mocks ? And what is the right time to start giving mocks

Hi ma'am THQ for ur excellence video . And here my question is How To prepare in 45 days CAT preparation and If I can't prepare verbal ability and reading comprehension ( long tym to understand questions) Is chance to score more percentile ???? Waiting for ur valuable response
Hey di , happy to see this video also it is great insights..but I have a question - is it necessary that we have to take mock of other institutes , i m asking this bcz all people out there are collecting the mocks and talking about that??? So I just want to know???
I wanted to ask. How is the overall score not equal to the sum of individual sectional score? Like for example, for 99.5 the overall score is given as 120 but the total sum is 54+37+49=140?
Shweta, in 1 mock my score is 75 which was standard paper I believe, another 106 which was easier one, and another one is around 45 , taken in three consecutive day, but if I am comparing with another person taking the same mock , and getting 79 , 102 , and 69 , why my marks is varying this much
Hey Arpan, you shouldn't compare with an individual and instead compare your percentile across mocks. Percentile reflects your true performance and not the absolute score. And percentile should further be checked section-wise, so analyse the section in which you didn't do well in the last mock.
hie dee...airthmatic, algebra aur geometry ko strengthen krne ke liye uske concepts aur past yr paper ke question bahut hai? ya should follow this book for that...and please give tips to strengthen varc
firstly, thanks a lot for ur efforts mam ..its really helpful but i had some questions about the exm hall do u we get sheets for calculation if yes how many ....abt calculater , and similar to it pls make a video on center siutuations ....pls
i wanted to ask that when i add all 3 section's marks in 99%tile row (45+32+36), it goes over 110 marks, but in the overall column it shows only 98 marks. How's that possible?
For those who find it difficult with Geometry, they must at least Remember the formulas Coz in CAT 2022 1st slot 1 formula based Ques. was there ! So it maybe occur again.

Hi ma'am. I'm a btech grad with a cgpa of 8.88 and dgpa of 8.99. Now my issue is how do i calculate my percentage? Should I use cgpa or my dgpa. In the University website they haven't mentioned any such formula. Just a pdf is upload with stating percentage conversion and the contents of the pdf is as follows:
To Whom It May Concern
Ref. No.: Date:
This is to certify that a seven point grading system on a basis of 10 is being followed in Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal (formerly Known as West Bengal University of Technology) which may be measured as per the following scale:
Grade Point %marks( minimum ass)
6.25 - 55
6.75 -. 60
7.25.-. 65
7.75. - 70
8.25. - 75
The clause (iv) of Chapter 1, Part-2, First Regulation of West
Bengal University of Technology states:
Quote
There shall be no class/division awarded to a student either
at semester or degree level.
Unquote
Now till date the university used to assign dgpa on the degree from which our seniors used to substract 0.75 and then multiply with 10 to get the percentage but now in our provisitional certificate they have assigned cgpa. However there is formula for calculating dgpa given at the back side of certificate. Now I'm confused how to calculate my percentage. Please help ma'am.
Wow ,The three topics of quants are arithmetic, alzebra and geometry. Thanks a lot shweta 😶
Very useful information thank you mam 🙏 👍
Just completed watching vide.. thank you mam.

I thought of leaving geometry completely.. ab Kya karuu😭😭
Thank you so much mam
Your videos help a lot in building my confidence and also motivates to do more hard work🙏🙏
thank you so much for this video.
You're most welcome :D
Mam you are a blessing for cat aspirants, thanks so much
Please suggest something for those who've just started 🥺🥺
Thanks mam for this video, this information is very useful for cat beginners
Hey Shweta. I love your videos.
Can you please make some videos highlighting important topics in DILR :)
Thank you so much 👍👍🙏🙏
I check cat 2020 slot 2 questions and i didn't find any number system questions so i think your analysis is wrong
Namaste didi.... All I want to beg that... aap didi koi ek ya dou topics ya subjects complete krne ka tarika bta do... slowly and gradually with enthusiasm teen saal me...
Taaki jb dedicated CAT ki prep kru.. atleast kuch portion ache se clear ho pehle se hi...
Thank u so much...
@@happyfamily980 English articles reading daily , it helps you UPSC , as well as CAT....
Dii if we attempt 9-10 in VARC, 8-9 in QUANTS & 7-8 in LRDI.. Then can we get atleast 95%ile???
Hii shweta, i want to request you to please make a video on VARC section please , i am scoring quite good but not best, i have joined time institute but i seriously i think youtube is much better to study and the contents of channels like yours are great. Thank you.😊
Plz make a video on how to prepare for cat 23 from now.
Now a days the content of the video is very good and videos are motivating 🤠
Thanks a lot, truly appreciate it!
Can you share some resources for Verbal Ability? I'm done with TIME Material and past year papers.
Most awaited video
Really happy to hear this!
80% in dilr is quite tough for me if the second set of 6 questions (according to last year pattern) comes easy then only i can attempt 16 questions (4,6,6)
And other wise Attempting 3 full set and 1 half is quite impossible for me(4,4,6,2)
Hey Shweta, hope you are doing great . Could you please suggest any good mocks considering the exam (2022) as a yardstick ?
Ma'am,
10th: 78%
12th: 79%
Grad (BBA): 91%
Which colleges should I target? Is there any chance of getting calls from IIMs?
I am Agriculture graduate and having
10th - 75% year 2004
12th - 64% year 2006
Graduation - 2008-2012 -79% with Two year gap from class 12th to graduation.
I worked in Two year i.e 2012-2014 in Call Centre and than PSU Bank from 2014 to till date and 10LPA salary credited in my account. My age is 33 year At this age I want to pursue for MBA exam and primary focus on FMS only. Pls guide me
I'm not aware of the average age at FMS, but it can be a challenge. At IIM-A, the highest i remember someone was 32. I'm not saying it's impossible, it can be a factor. What would you like to know as I didn't find a question.
I want to prepare for CAT 2023. So is it good decision to leave govt job and do MBA from IIM A, B or C. ?? Ma'am as per your point of view plz guide.
feel motivated after watching every video 🤧🥺
Thank you shweta di ❤️

The best ones are CL/IMS mocks as of now.
Hii didi... thankyou for making this such a informative vedeo..it will help me lot. But ....
I have a question could you make similar vedeo regarding to ( ipmat) exams.
Thanks a lot, Mukti. I didn't take the IPMAT exam that's why I don't know much about it. There's a podcast on the channel if you'd like to go through it. Plus, there's a channel called AceIPM that can help.
Ma'am, Is there any free resource for LRDI preparation?
your source of score vs percentile is wrong for 99.5% , as the actual score needed is 107 for 99.5%
i just want to aware people here :)
Thanks for updating, could be my error.
Hi ma'am THQ for ur excellence video . And here my question is
How To prepare in 45 days CAT preparation
and If I can't prepare verbal ability and reading comprehension ( long tym to understand questions) Is chance to score more percentile ???? Waiting for ur valuable response
Syllabus kya hain
should I buy career Launcher's Mocks or something else please help.
Hey di , happy to see this video also it is great insights..but I have a question - is it necessary that we have to take mock of other institutes , i m asking this bcz all people out there are collecting the mocks and talking about that??? So I just want to know???
You need not, just take 1 series - any of TIME/CL/IMS (preferably the last 2) and solve the mocks
@@Shweta-Arora okk di 🤗thnx for suggestion..
This video is really needed 🙏❤️
Please make a detailed video on mba in product management
It's already here - ruclips.net/video/PayCddjaXDg/видео.html
Di tyssmmmmmm❤❤❤❤ n maine ek comment m apse pucha tha geometry ke chps no need to take trouble coz apne yaha bata diya h once again tysm
Di please make a detailed video on cat and omets colleges whose forms are worth filling before the respective examinations.
That video is available - look for the last date to fill forms video.
hie dee...airthmatic, algebra aur geometry ko strengthen krne ke liye uske concepts aur past yr paper ke question bahut hai? ya should follow this book for that...and please give tips to strengthen varc
and thanks for your motivation...this keeps me linked to my preparation.

but i had some questions about the exm hall do u we get sheets for calculation if yes how many ....abt calculater , and similar to it pls make a video on center siutuations ....pls
Thank you so much for this video ❤
I'm weak in Hindi. Could you just summarize what she said. Is there a corrent number of questions to be done in each sections.
@@goodomen5801english subtitles are also there in this video
How many questions attempt in every section
i wanted to ask that when i add all 3 section's marks in 99%tile row (45+32+36), it goes over 110 marks, but in the overall column it shows only 98 marks. How's that possible?
Di , Not Able to Inc attempt Rate In quant Section Super Weak In Quant Any Ideas To get Overall 99+
Hi didi Tq so much for your support by giving best contents for cat aspirants
For those who find it difficult with Geometry,
they must at least Remember the formulas
Coz in CAT 2022 1st slot 1 formula based Ques. was there !
So it maybe occur again.
