Very beautiful model. My favourite flower daffodil. Thanks to Brill and also a big thanks to you Sara. Very well explained the fine nuances of folding in all your videos, it makes me understand each point so well and the result is a beautiful model. I do practice every model till it is perfect. Thank you once again. 🙏🏻

I love the model, props to Assia Brill. But also, I love your narration. Very thoughtful of you to include metric and imperial measurement. I mostly view videos sans narration, but I really enjoyed your instructions. ❤

You are good a good teacher, I have so many problems with other videos because the teacher doesn't get there fingers out of the way before they do the next step. So I can't see what they are doing. Good job, I think this is the best instructional origami video I've ever seen.

Harder to do than I initially thought, I was on the last step and then gave up cos I went terribly wrong somewhere :’(
I’ll try again, glad I used my scrap paper first
Edit: did it!!!, those were some frustrating few hours 😭

Here's how I fold/cut a hexagon from a square: You fold the diagonals in different directions, pick one to stay folded and mark a quarter, then fold the opposite corner to your mark and pinch a bit higher. If you then rotate your first mark around the center until it lies on your pinch, you will have all you need to make the biggest possible hexagon from your square as accurately as your paper allows.

Yes, that's another way you can do it. Thanks for sharing.

Sara kindly tell if we can use washi paper for complex origami models...do answer this because I want to order some online.

I fear I have no simple answer. It depends on the type of Washi and the model you want to fold.
