Civilian can be tried in military courts only in narrow circumstances such as mutiny spying etc although they can appeal in civilian courts ... This article 8 giving right to armed forces to perform there official duty freely, if they took any strict action against any citizens which effects the fundamental right they're not liable for anything nor there laws are void bcz they all are performing there duties to main public order . That's why article 8 is not applicable on any law of armed forces and on any other which are given in first schedule
