- Part 18 of the Indian Constitution covers the Emergency Provisions from Article 352 - Article 360. Article 352 talks about National Emergency or Proclamation of Emergency.
The provision for the suspension of fundamental rights had been taken from = Weimar Constitution
The idea of emergency in Indian constitution was taken from = Government of India Act, 1935.
Article 356 = State Emergency
Article 360 = Financial Emergency

- 1st Proclamation of Emergency (India - China), 1962
- 2nd Proclamation of Emergency (India - Pakistan, 1971

- What is the impact of Emergency on Centre-State relationship i.e., Article 353
- Fundamental Rights of Indian Constitution and Emergency - Article 358 and Article 359 of the Indian Constitution
- Important Amendments regarding Emergency:-
-38th Amendment
-39th Amendment
-42nd Amendment: This is the most controversial amendment in Indian Constitutional history. 42nd Amendment is very important as it did major changes in the federal structure of the Indian Constitution - it is also known as Mini-Constitution
-and 44th Amendment - which was mainly introduced to do away with the changes of the 42nd Amendment. Both 42nd and 44th amendment are very important topics of proclamation of national emergency.

Mam actually fundamental rights is suspended in emergency time that is borrowed by Germany constitution but emergency is purely borrowed by GOI act 1935.

9:21 The structure of the CoMs is like wheels within a wheel wherein the Cabinet constitutes the inner most ring.The Cabinet is an extra-constitutional body. It is a part of the CoMs and consist of 15-20 top level ministers who undertake the function of policy-making. All Cabinet Minister are CoMs but all CoMs are not Cabinet Ministers.

2nd national emergency which was imposed in 1971 and 3rd national emergency which was imposed in 1975 are revocked simultaneously in the year 1977.

However, just a silly mistake in your example...If Emergency is proclaimed on 1-1-2019 and after approval of Parliament , I think it will continue till 1-7-2019 i.e. 1st July,2019 not till 1-6-2019 i.e. 1st June, 2019 as you mentioned in the video. Am I right in my observation, hope you will get back to me. Anyway...Thanks a lot!!!

@@kandarpvanita5839Ok, First thing first... As explained in the video, once National Emergency is proclaimed, it remains in effect for maximum of 6 months only. So, let say Emergency is proclaimed on
1-1-2019 i.e. 1st of January 2019 and Parliament approved it immediately on that very day, so it will remain in effect for next 6 months i.e. Jan., Feb., March, April, May and June. Therefore, 6 months will get over on 1-7-2019 i.e. 1st of July 2019. (not on 1-6-2019 as erroneously mentioned in the video). Hope it helps.
