    Nice Video. My recommendation is to use first Mathy C for engine flushing, after complete Valvoline 5W40 Oil with 20% Mathy M is for me the best combination! 🏎

    At the end you say that oil can degrade the rubber? Are you sure about that?
    I think it is quite the opposite, that the brake cleaner can degrade rubber more? Brake cleaner is more agressive?
    I have never seen an o-ring or a rubber seal, being degraded because of the oil 🤔 On filters it is actually recommended to put a little bit of oil on the new filter seal.
    I'm just thinking out loud, I otherwise enjoy your alfa videos man. So many useful information!

    • @arcgarage
      @arcgarage  Год назад

      Thanks, rubber on filters is made from different compound. Oil breaks down rubber on a molecular lever, I see it every day, brake cleaner won't damage it

      @@arcgarage alright, thanks! 👍
      Maybe just a recommendation; if possible try to make more videos on more modern Alfas, like Giulia and Giulietta like you just did. Maybe you would get more views for these for your videos. You certainly deserve it already. 👍 Cheers!

    Be careful not to spray brake cleaner on any painted parts.

      It shouldn't hurt it, guess it depends on the brake cleaner

      On the multiair you must clean or replace the multiair filter as well

    • @arcgarage
      @arcgarage  Год назад

      Aware of that, however, replacement of multiair filter has significantly longer interval. On the other hand cleaning it regularly id definitely a good practice.
