This is my continuation of the Best and Worst series! This time, for survivors :D Remember, no legendaries were ranked, various things were taken into account like the combination potential or price, and any characters missing are because I simply could not rank them! Do you agree with my choices?
@justahugenerd1278 Tru, they've recently been really dumb with what outfits they give deep rifts to. Last rift, they gave Mikaela's outfit a deep rift even tho it was already blue and they didn't even change it much, same with Zarina's outfit even tho they did go slightly farther with the changes. That's also the maybe one bad thing about the current rift, almost all the skins in the deep rift are already blue, close to blue, or have heavily blue elements. Sable and Tricksters outfits were barely changed, and although yui and spirit got some good differences in the deep rift, they still already had big blue aspects like the tails and snakes. Sorry for the rant lol, I just thought id say this responding to you cuz I also love blue but they've been wasting their deep rift opportunities
14:30 aaaa as a Jill main this one makes me so sad because when she first released you could equip this set's pieces separately and it looked so good with the base top. It doesn't quite work for me as a set, but in pieces it would be perfect :(
BHVR's greed goes brrrr. There's literally no reason why most sets cosmetics, like that one, should be sets other than charging you the whole price even if you only want one part, specially becouse in most sets the head is identical with the default one, like in this cosmetic, and noone in their right mind would pay for it, and at BHVR they know it.

All I want is skins that makes survivors look like they get killed and terrorized over and over by an evil spider god in a mysterious realm. I want to look ragged, hurt, terrifyed and bloody. Instead most survivors look like they on their way to rave party. So far the closest thing is Prestige bloody cosmetics. Very sad
The best skin in the game is that one Jeff heavy metal skin. Not because it looks very good compared to others, but because the killer gets a heart attack out of fear when they join the lobby.
Lara not having shorts and two gun holsters is so upsetting. Also it would have been funny if they gave her the old pixelated look and the Square Boobs haha
Since we never received Mr. Scratch as the Killer for Alan Wake's chapter, I don't see why Kalevala Knights wasn't an Ultra-Rare that turned Alan into Scratch. I think it could have EASILY just been him, replacing Alan's usual in-game dialogue for Scratch's own. Hell, even just changing his lobby lines to something else would have been awesome. In another universe, I suppose...
18:30 Pathfinder undeniably looks terrible on Vittorio, but I do love that he nails a vibe of "Old guy that got Isekai'd" by wearing other survivor's clothes. It's a really interesting concept and makes you wonder just how long he has been in the realm for.
I don't like that best Gabriel skin at all. Sure the dreads hairstyle can go with anything, but the top and bottom go with literally nothing. You know for the brief few days his lunar skin was unlinked, I'd have put that in the top spot (I don't think it's legendary?). Also the new Haddie noir skin is real nice and worth an honourable mention as usually she doesn't get many good things.
10:10 based, 10/10, as a fellow Yui main I was so blown away by it that it made buy the pass for the first time after over 200 hours of playtime, that cosmetic is da 🐐
Tbh, I care for one thing only, camouflage, that’s all. I am always baffled when someone shows up with a flying, neon crown, or a giant translucent tail and then rages in end-game chat, about why they got ,,tunneled”, BRO, U JUST CAN’T HIDE WITH A METER LONG, GLOWING TAIL!
As a Jane main, I think her new best outfit is her newest outfit from the Noir collection. She looks elegant, the heels are beautiful, the silver and black color palette works great, the vine details on the back of her tights are beautiful too, and the footsteps with the high heels are so satisfying. The hair is ok... I personally like it but it's not her best, but it's not a set so you can mix!
The hand for “Working for the weekend” is cool because it’s not a “real” hand. In the show that’s the hand he starts with, a wooden hand he uses since he doesn’t have money for a new hand so it’s stuck in 1 position forever, unlike his other hands that can move and such
Love videos like these because like 50% of the reason I play DBD is to run around in fun cosmetic combos 😅They really do Gabriel dirty with his cosmetics. I also really would like the deep rift to get more colors like indigo, pink, red etc if the other cosmetic is already blue. For example: Sable's for this rift look almost identical.
I wouldn't consider the Bright Falls hair alike to the default as they contrast in design. The default is still the overgrown hair, but neatly combed back, giving a formal style. Just like in Alan Wake 2, his hair suddenly becomes shaggy and distressed, giving this rougher appearance. The distressed hair honestly complements every cosmetic of his too.
7:20 I think Black Metal is on-par with the one from Chrysalis collection. I really like the fur coat. 12:49 I LOVE this cosmetic for the hair actually and wish it weren't a set so I can put the hair onto other torso pieces. Imo the Gothic Tales head piece is a lot worse. If I would root for worst cosmetic overall, I would choose the Oktoberfest Collection for one single reason: The German survivor, coming actually from Bavaria wears an inaccurate version of the traditional garment. That is something that annoyed me from the start, but I can forgive BHVR for messing up. 14:02 I love this cosmetic, but nowadays I mainly changed to the Void look. 16:24 I love the camo pants as they fit the recolor of this cosmetic well and make you harder to see on many maps 18:06 I don't like the hair.... 23:15 I like to combine the hair of this or the skirt with the basic white recolor top. it looks amazing

Having wanted Lara Croft in dbd for so long, and recently started playing the survivor trilogy prior to her release. Having 100% completed TR 2013 and started with Rise. I like Survivor Lara as a character more then Classic Lara... however. I feel we should have gotten the Classic Outfit and not Retro Fit, this has nothing to do with sexuality it has to do with consistency. Retro Fit was just the Default Outfit from Shadow of the TR, that was recolored. So in my option they should have just given us the default Shadow outfit and given us the Classic Outfit or have given us nothing at all. Fortnite had both Survivor Lara and Classic Lara and an outfit where they combine the two, Call Of Duty has had Classic Lara. In every single game outside of the trilogy, meaning the mobile games and spin offs, she was wearing the classic outfit. As matter of fact if you were to go to the official tomb raider website she is featured in her classic outfit. And if you need anymore info, it's rumored that in the next main tomb raider game, it will take place after the survivor trilogy and she would be featured in the classic outfit. There is no sexual element with the outfit, and even if there was it doesn't matter because Hooked on You exists, Shirtless Survivors exists, Trickster exists ,shorts exists, bikinis exists, spirit's default and attack on titan skin exists, Jane, Thalita and Skull Merchant exists. The Entity actively feeds off your emotions, So you Thirst Trapping for Vomi-Mommy and Wesker is actively giving the Entity an all you can eat buffet.
Oh just a correction The unification was confirmed back for the 25th anniversary of Tomb Raider Call of duty doesn’t feature classic lara. It features Unified lara which is basically Survivor Lara as an experienced tomb raider. (Also side note the voice actress who did the voice in COD is actually one of the official mainline tomb raider games actress her name is Keeley Hawes having potrayed lara croft in all the legend timeline games which is legend, anniversary, underworld, guardian of light, and temple of Osiris) Also to add Tomb Raider 1-3 per Evercade manual is the official sequel to shadow of the tomb raider. They have retconned the original trilogy and it now takes place long after the events of shadow of the tomb raider Basically to sum it up, the new game their going back to her main look. The iconic tank top and shorts EXTREMELY RARLEY doesn’t appear in a Tomb Raider game There are 20 tomb raider games in total lara wears the iconic outfit is a primary outfit in like 15 of them.
Also the fortnite outfit their wasn’t one where they combine the two, The 25th anniversary outfit is actually taken from the 2007 game TOMB RAIDER ANNIVERSARY. The limited time croft manor map on fortnite you could unlock the Anniversary spray which if you weren’t convinced it wasn’t 2007 remake Lara, then Lara inside the scion of Atlantis for the spray should’ve confirmed it Tomb raider is a really huge franchsie with 3 seperate timeline, 3 live action movies, 2 shows, comics, novels, like it’s easier for newcomers to get confused but yea if you see the tank top and shorts it’s just her primary outfit it doesn’t = Classic Lara as legend timeline Lara has also used it as a primary numerous times as well as the movies. There is a second thing I dont like about Steves: This is not happening, Cosmetic. In the show, Steve get horrible beaten up by Billy. The kids than try to "help" him out with chrildrens band aid with cartoon motivs and in different colours, this contrast was so so so funny, even the head description of this cosmetic tells us about it, but no, they didnt add his wounds or the funny band aids, very disapointing And for Jonah, omg why you didnt choose for the worst one this horrible tec thing he got this year? the Shirt and the Head looks so so SOOO horrible For Vittorio - yes I LOVE his new Riftcosmetic, but not the hair. Its a medieval hairstyle but not for noble people, also the furr dont fit him so much, because he was living in italy, but works as a traveling chlothing for him when he was visiting different countrys with his uncle
Now, I've never played a Tomb Raider game. But I already kinda wanted Lara cause of her voice. Then I saw the Autumn Adventurer cosmetic and I knew I had to get it. I've been a Lara main ever since.
Sad to see Bill and Rebecca get ignored. As is though. Leon and Ada’s hair (unlike Rebecca and Jill’s sets) actually change in their RE4 cosmetics. Matching their original games, rather than their hairstyles in RE2R. So them being linked is fine for me. Jill’s is just really lazy, and I only bought the outfit when it was on sale for less than 800 auric cells (which I see as a fine price since the head is a carbon copy). As for Steve. While I like his this-is-not-happening outfit. The pants are really not that worth it. Seeing as they only pair well with prestige. Hence, why I chose to buy the babysitter set, and buy both the goggles and open jacket. Ditching the dirty pants entirely.
Just on the whole “tank top” for Lara, shadow of the tomb raider is still the younger Lara, so less experience so you couldn’t just “add shorts” because the tank top is half untucked and is not the same tank top at all that she wears in the first 1996 game/remaster (2024)/ remake (2007) To make it the classic outfit you need her hair in braid, back pack, tucked tank top, shorts, dual holsters (dual pistols), and the brown boots with the gloves. Her shadow of the tomb raider outfit isn’t a take on the classic outfit it’s just a recolored of shadows outfit. The only thing bhvr changes was adding red glasses that aren’t event accuarte lmao
Ima have to double check if that best vittorio skin is in the shop. I’d always run shirtless vittorio but if that one is available that might become my new favorite skin for him.
For Feng's Seul Gamer I might disagree with you on the head. I actually love the head and when a friend of mine gifted me the chapter I also had her skeleton shirt from the Halloween event and bought the head piece from Seul Gamer. And I think I might use it on other outfits I will make for her too.

Not a criticism, more of a nitpick. Laurie can't get too much flack when it comes to her cosmetics not being from the films, considering it was the comic they got the rights for. It's unfortunate, for sure. Maybe down the line the studios and rights holders can work something out.
While on the topic of cosmetic's i would like to share my opinion on michaela's anniversary mask, the mask itself is good but the one thing about it is that it keep's the hat on making it hard for me at least to make good cosmetic combo's with the mask, it reminds me of how Blight 's mask kept on the hoodie

Individually it's fantastic! It's just that it's the hardest to combine by far compared to the rest, only the hair is usable and I love making Sable combos!
Gonna disagree with the Gabe one, I say the Fire Festival one is the best, though tragically a set. The eva suit is definitely garbo though. Gabe's my main survivor and I ain't gonna be nabbing that one at all.

Grill Champ torso goes REALLY WELL with the Undercover Cop outfut. It makes Tapp look like a fun funky cop guy. I love running this combo.

Basically to sum it up, the new game their going back to her main look. The iconic tank top and shorts EXTREMELY RARLEY doesn’t appear in a Tomb Raider game

Tomb raider is a really huge franchsie with 3 seperate timeline, 3 live action movies, 2 shows, comics, novels, like it’s easier for newcomers to get confused but yea if you see the tank top and shorts it’s just her primary outfit it doesn’t = Classic Lara as legend timeline Lara has also used it as a primary numerous times as well as the movies.

There is a second thing I dont like about Steves: This is not happening, Cosmetic. In the show, Steve get horrible beaten up by Billy. The kids than try to "help" him out with chrildrens band aid with cartoon motivs and in different colours, this contrast was so so so funny, even the head description of this cosmetic tells us about it, but no, they didnt add his wounds or the funny band aids, very disapointing

For Vittorio - yes I LOVE his new Riftcosmetic, but not the hair. Its a medieval hairstyle but not for noble people, also the furr dont fit him so much, because he was living in italy, but works as a traveling chlothing for him when he was visiting different countrys with his uncle

Now, I've never played a Tomb Raider game. But I already kinda wanted Lara cause of her voice. Then I saw the Autumn Adventurer cosmetic and I knew I had to get it. I've been a Lara main ever since.

As is though. Leon and Ada’s hair (unlike Rebecca and Jill’s sets) actually change in their RE4 cosmetics. Matching their original games, rather than their hairstyles in RE2R. So them being linked is fine for me. Jill’s is just really lazy, and I only bought the outfit when it was on sale for less than 800 auric cells (which I see as a fine price since the head is a carbon copy).
As for Steve. While I like his this-is-not-happening outfit. The pants are really not that worth it. Seeing as they only pair well with prestige. Hence, why I chose to buy the babysitter set, and buy both the goggles and open jacket. Ditching the dirty pants entirely.

Just on the whole “tank top” for Lara, shadow of the tomb raider is still the younger Lara, so less experience so you couldn’t just “add shorts” because the tank top is half untucked and is not the same tank top at all that she wears in the first 1996 game/remaster (2024)/ remake (2007)
To make it the classic outfit you need her hair in braid, back pack, tucked tank top, shorts, dual holsters (dual pistols), and the brown boots with the gloves.
Her shadow of the tomb raider outfit isn’t a take on the classic outfit it’s just a recolored of shadows outfit. The only thing bhvr changes was adding red glasses that aren’t event accuarte lmao
Ima have to double check if that best vittorio skin is in the shop. I’d always run shirtless vittorio but if that one is available that might become my new favorite skin for him.

For Feng's Seul Gamer I might disagree with you on the head. I actually love the head and when a friend of mine gifted me the chapter I also had her skeleton shirt from the Halloween event and bought the head piece from Seul Gamer. And I think I might use it on other outfits I will make for her too.
