- We reached Uhuru Peak, the highest point on Kilimanjaro, via the 6-day Marangu route (the route with huts). Summit day was the hardest physical thing we've ever done but we all did it!
This video documents the preparation required to get to Kilimanjaro and the epic fun we had doing the trek. If you're thinking of climbing Kili watch this first, then go sign up. You can't climb Kilimanjaro without using a guide service; we used Miyar Adventures and highly recommend them.
If you travel all the way to Tanzania to climb Kili, do yourself a favor and go on safari as well.

Congrats on making it to the top too! It was way harder than I was expecting.
this is day tour in Arusha? is good or waterfall is the best option?
Just climbed this route two weeks ago. Your video is a great representation of what the climb is like...only I think I was a lot more exhausted. 😀 Glad you had the energy to film.
Congrats on summiting - 19,341 ft above sea level is no joke!
@@BHarker75 Thanks...glad I did it. Glad it is over!
This video deserves way more views!
I agree! Make that happen would you?
I’m shocked you don’t have more subscribers
Thank you, that's a very kind compliment!
Very good story teller, great job, on your climb good and a fun video to watch.
Thanks!
21:45 reminds me of the gear wars
Greetings from India. This is the best Kilimanjaro Trek video I have seen. And I am surprised that views are so less. This should go up to 100s thousands. The video was very well thought and explained ... almost a light heartted documentary. You also got a fantastic group to trek with (which is a blessing in disguise). Please could you share the trekking company that you went with - I would love to plan a trip with them now. Thanks again.

Thanks for the kind comments! This trek was an incredible experience and I definitely lucked out with the incredible group of people I was with. This trip was booked through Miyar Adventures.
