The problem with these people who comes through the traveling agents is that they put them the worst hotels in order to save money from them. There are 5 star hotels in Mogadishu but they are expensive above 100 bucks a night.
Meg thank you for vising my home town, I hope you come back in the not so distant future recount this experience to a much better future Mogadishu and Somalia, I think it's hard to size up a big city in one trip, Mogadishu is slowly recovering from a long chaotic war, its' almost feels like people are opening their eyes to normal living again, its a start, I think the government is not acting quick enough to improve a lot of things like the city infrastructure.... safe travels and see you in your next world adventures.
