What most people don't know is that he was carted to the concert by his handlers as part of the contract where agreed to sing until he's 75. Just before they pushed him out on the stage, he was heard saying, "NOOOO, MY BACK HURTS!" 😂
Drummer SUCKS!.... THERE IS NO RHYTHM like the original drummer this is the worst version i've ever heard... love you guys loose the drummer bring back the original guy!
Face it age sucks, wear and tear on his vocal chords over so many years of hard singing.....very few singers who sing such high ballads can maintain it
I saw them 2 years ago, it was great to see them again. It brought back so many good memories from the 80’s. Yeah Robin’s vocals are not what they used to be. But I agree the wear & tear over the decades will catch up eventually.
Why he just doesn’t bring it down a key or 2 is beyond me. It’s not like he can’t hit high notes. His falsetto is what’s gone. He’s doing his voice a a lot of strain and harm singing it this way.

I caught Cheap Trick opening for Rod Stewart a few weeks ago. No “tricks” with CT but Rod had a ton of prerecorded tracks and “actors” on stage.

Gotta agree. Just five years ago, Robin could crush this song. Time does take its toll. Rick doesn’t seem nearly as sharp.
