Question does Goku train on the ship on the way back to earth from the planet they left piccolo at you know how to make up for missing two days in his training getting to the planet in the first place

Imagine the gains to be had if THIS Piccolo wound up fusing with Kami. If he wound up doing so and coming back to earth in time for the respective Saga, Cell's Perfect form would have been mandatory to stand up to this now Super Kami Piccolo. Which would be good thing too, seeing that as of now Super Saiyan is still just a myth that seemingly can't be reached.
@@danmenard6917 Kinda? That depends on whether Dr. Gero thought he had all the data and DNA he needed from Piccolo before the Z-fighters left for Namek or not. He didn't know about Super Saiyan despite Trunks and Goku using it on Earth, so it's possible Cell _wouldn't_ be more powerful.
Great vid, Mas! This was worth the wait! I'm interested to see how the Android Saga will play out. Will we even time travel? I see this Piccolo being more shrewd in how he goes about fusing with Kami, asking either Shenron or Porunga to wish Kami back into his prime to make the fusion even more potent than in the original timeline. And the Ginyu Force are still out there, which'll make Cold's invasion of Earth far more exciting, especially with everyone sans Piccolo as underleveled as they are. I suspect that Cold will be the true big bad before the Androids show up, if they show up at all.

That's a good point. Cold has no vendetta against Earth, he would only be there looking for clues after Namek turned up missing. He wouldn't just blast the planet like Frieza, so Dr. Gero may tip his hand by sending his incomplete prototypes to fight the alien. That would be a weird twist for a what if, to have the conflicts resolved with lower than original power levels on Earth.

He knows he was on Namek, he knows that Namek vanished and little else. In fact, not all of Frieza's goons were wiped out, nameless mooks would've still been around to manage and maintain his shipk, chances are that Cold'll turn up on Namek anyway if they sent a distress call out or just up and left anyway. There's a lot that's gonna have to happen differently. If Piccolo's still on Namek then Cold will likely turn up there and be beaten by Piccolo there with some freshly trained Warrior Clan Namekians at his side (to handle the mooks). Even if they mention Earth's Dragon Balls and you bring Cooler into the story, I doubt you'll get Cooler turning up on Earth because there's a better opponent on Namek that he'd probably put in some more effort for. Actually, I think that makes more sense! Cooler turns up after some training in the wake of Frieza's and Cold's deaths trounces Piccolo and some of the Namekians and they use the Dragon Balls to wish themselves to Earth to prepare for Cooler's arrival but get embroiled in the events of the Android Saga too.
@@CrystalGreymon Masako did forget about the mooks on the ship since Vegeta wasn't running around the ship wiping them out, granted, but with his narrative style, he's either going to carry on oblivious if no one points it out to him, or he'll retcon them out. Otherwise, moving Namek was narratively pointless. As for Cold, the only information he would have at this point without those mooks is why Frieza went to Namek. After he goes where Namek should have been and doesn't find a planet or a debris field, the only information he'd have to go off of is the planet Vegeta was on when his scouter picked up the conversation about the dragonballs.
@@Merennulli Hold on, didn't Cui survive in this telling of events? Cui seems like a rational way around events since he seemed to know that Vegeta went to Earth in the original story. Kinda makes sense to have Cui share the information about it if there're any inquiries about why Frieza went to Namek. In greater detail anyway. Cold's not as reckless as Frieza so it makes sense he'd do a little digging on finding out why Namek's missing along with his pride and joy.
I'd forgotten about this what-if it had been so long. The idea of Piccolo being the most powerful is a really interesting idea, especially where Goku isn't nearly as strong in canon, sets up some interesting conflicts.
Only if piccolo stays on Namek for 4(?) years until Android Saga. Once he's train the warriors a bit, he can head home. They Goku will be all up in that Piccolo gravity room training montage.
Plus they won't have Vegeta or Future Trunks to help fight either. Plus King Cold is still alive and might head to Earth or find Namek to avenge Frieza.
Piccolo might destroy #17 when they fight ruining Cell's chance at becoming perfect, he would need to fuse with Kami though I would assume, but yeah an underpowered Goku plus no Vegeta would be a big blow.
"What If Raditz Turned Good?" is my favorite what if you made, and when I rediscovered this one, "What If Piccolo Didnt Save Gohan" has became my second favorite! I think this scenario is almost just as good as, maybe even better than, the actual way DBZ went. Thank you Masako! Keep up the great work!
Yes, but there will be even more changes as instead of being Arrogant and fighting Android 18 and Cell alone , Vegeta might take help. He would also take help from Trunks in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and that way he could tell Trunks about the weakness of Super Saiyan Grade 3. Due to this ,they might discover Super Saiyan Grade 4(They would find it at the last moment and would not be able to perfect it but Trunks could tell Goku and Gohan about it)
@@shyamparikh9290 I highly doubt Vegate would want help though, maybe a lit more than in the original, but I definitely don't think they will reach grade 4 super Saiyan, as Vegate wouldn't even have regular super Saiyan going in to the chamber.
@@jwjakloaaj7942 Even Gohan didn't have Super Saiyan and he managed to get Grade 4. Here I think that if Trunks teaches Vegeta Super Saiyan, then he would be open to show him the Grade 3 version, to this Vegeta can point it's weakness and then Start to discover Grade 4 near the last few months. After they both discover Grade 4, they(at least Trunks) can inform Goku and Gohan about it which can lead to them striving for it from the beginning. This might also make Vegeta be more open to help from Trunks against Cell and they can definitely get stronger when they go to the Room of Spirit and Time the second time.
Bravo on this story. I very much enjoyed Piccolo getting his due attention that I wish Super had provided... it was short and we had to wait forever and a day for it... but it was worth the wait
Actually, a fusion with Guru would make total sense to me. The knowledge of the grand elder would be something that would be useful and since Guru's near death, he'd want someone to take it, since it's better used in that way, to protect Earth and Namek from future threats, rather than not at all.
@@MasakoX The Ten Times Gravity might've been too much for Gohan but I think he could've adapted. Gohan using Kaio-Ken and Spirit Bomb has to be in a what-if.

So I have an idea for Dende's "brother" [when Guru supposedly egged everybody out] Guru birthed the village Elders. The Elders birthed their village. Once a Namekian reaches a certain age, they're able to egg up a progenitor as well.
Masako, you might need to upload what-ifs to include an upload on Thursdays as well. It'd probably help the backlog speed up a bit. But of course, now I'm wondering what it'd be like if/when Piccolo trains Gohan in preparation for the Android Saga, how the Moro arc would turn out (because of the strengthened Namekian Warriors) and of course, how the Buu Saga will fare with Piccolo's micromanagment from back on Earth. In the original he was making calculated decisions but now... he'll probably jump into the fray himself!

What has Gohan been doing though? He must have went to king kai, No? Edit:I get where Gohan was. He wasn't a hero at the time so he didn't get to keep his body.
Hopefully Goku thinks to use the Time Chamber to catch-up to Piccolo, that way he also stands a chance against King Cold before he goes Super Sayain for the first time in this timeline.
About the long wait. I really don't mind. At all. I have come to really like your series of what ifs. The way you tell the story really reminds me of a Dungeon Master with you doing the voices from time to time. Really comfortable to listen.
I found your channel yesterday i already watched 2 full series and they were amazing but i realise that the videos of the same series are weeks and even months appart that how can someone watch that in that way? in that time you already forgot everthing i will subscribe to you but i will only watch one of your series when its over because its the only was to see this type of videos i dont understand how you have such a community like this by the way you upload your videos 1 exemple is this video the first part was uploaded 2 years ago wtf how can someone remember what happened in the last 2 episodes man you are the potencial to have millions of subs because of your amazing historys u need to start uploading the next parts of the series at max past a week
The issue with this is a simple word: quality!, masako doesn't want to rush with these episodes cause rushing causes mistakes or unoriginal ideas, yeah some take a month or a year to move along, but just look at the stories he had made, even the one he has finished, they all have twists and turns, actually time and effort, you wouldn't get this if each what if got a new episode each week, and plus what ifs arn't the only content, throwing conversation on topics for the fandom, and even deep lore on subjects that are kinda fuzzy in the series, that's what make him stand out, it sucks waiting, but I rather have a series take long for better episodes then speed him up to just finish the tale as soon as it starts
They may be weeks and eveen months apart but that's why he does recaps. At the start of every what-if that's not a new one. Ya watched 2 whole series and never noticed?
Make him fuse with the younger version of Kami. Like in the ‘What If’ with Nappa, Kami uses the Dragon Balls to regain his youth to fight in the android saga. Meanwhile, the Z fighters manage to bring Piccolo back from Namek to assist them, and so he ends up fusing with young Kami to stand up against Perfect Cell. And as so happened in this episode, once both Piccolo and Kami has so much more power compared with the original, this fusion is again unspeakable more outstanding. Please! Up this comment for he seeing it, guys!
Part 4 Gohan wishes to get stronger to make Piccolo proud, while also not wanting to stop studying because he loves knowledge. Goku asks Bulma for the Gravity Ship he used to get to the Namek and twice a week, Goku and Gohan train under intense gravity to try and match Piccolo’s new level. Chi Chi, though frustrated that Gohan wants to train, relents when Gohan explains that he wants to make both of them proud, to be both smart and strong. Because she can understand wanting to make a father figure proud. (Goku and Piccolo count in this regard)
I don't think Hellzone Grenade is a vaporizing move, I think it's more of a pummeling move, like you're just being pummeled by the exploding ki spheres
If you really think about it the Namekians are one of the most OP races in Dragon Ball. They have high levels or regeneration, made the Dragon Balls and could fuse to increase their power to insane levels. Oh and "unlock hidden power" with a touch that does more than decades of training could do. If you think about it Piccolo fused with Kami, some one with so little power that the original Dragon Ball enemies seemed strong, yet the result made him more of a threat to Imperfect Cell than a Super Sayian.
It’s theorized that the only reason Piccolo could fuse with Nail was because they were both warrior clan types, meaning Piccolo couldn’t fuse with dragon clan (dragon ball makers) members. The only reason Piccolo could fuse with Kami was because they used to be one in the past.
This is basically how to write a character to have their conclusion in a DBZ setting without the lazy "I'm done with trying to catch up" thing Tine had at the end of Cell saga
This really did justice for Toriyama's potential favorite, except... Piccolo was recently on a side of evil, and for a strong reason. We could at least have used a conversation about that.
So Masako, I did some math regarding the sort of power up Piccolo received from fusing with Nail in this timeline. By doing some calculations based off the list of power levels from the DBZ wiki (and presuming that the movie listings for Piccolo are non-canon for the main timeline) it seems that the way the fusion multiplied his power was to take Nail's 42,000 and multiply it by 1/10th of Piccolo's 3,500, or about 350, to result in 14,700,000, which is just about right for being able to smack 2nd form Freeza around but to fail against 3rd form Freeza given that 2nd form was "over 1,000,000" and Final Form at 50% was 60,000,000. IF we use the same exact math, then taking Nail's 42,000 and multiply it against 1/10th of 40,000, or 4000... that puts him at 168,000,000, or about 18,000,000 over SUPER SAIYAN GOKU. Yeah. No wonder Freeza was wasted.
The original Piccolo was roughly equal to Frieza’s 2nd form with his weights. However he got overwhelmed by Frieza’s 3rd form. Frieza seems to double his power with each transformation until he reaches his true form. So 1st= 530k, 2nd= about 1.2- 3million, 3rd 2-6 million, true form suppressed 12million (10% of Frieza’s total power) Here’s a formula I came up with that I used in my fic. (Though I assumed Piccolo got similar growth to Goku on his six days of training, so I’ve got Piccolo before fusing around 90k) Namekian Fusion equation= Power of base x ((power of fuse/3) / 1000) OG Piccolo x Nail= 1,260,000 (assuming Piccolo has power of 90k) Nail x2 = 420,000 (Nail 42k fused with two Namekians At 10k) Piccolo x fused Nail = 12,600,000
I like the idea that Piccolo is pretty much the strongest of the dragon team right now... And I would like to see that stay a theme in this what if... He was useful in the cannon but Sayains kinda outclassed everyone after this arc was complete... but now I like to think he could be one of the stop fighters for a lot longer.
I feel like at some point this should veer into some of the film territory such as Slug and Metal Cooler, as these actually touch on Namekians in ways the mainline series doesn’t. Would also give Piccolo another chance at badassery while showing off what his trained up disciples can do against the cooler bots without jumping straight to the Android Saga, where it’ll be difficult to stand out amongst the rapid succession SSJ leapfrog that happens throughout that saga.

I want just one what if where Guru fuses with Nail.
So I have an idea for Dende's "brother" [when Guru supposedly egged everybody out]
Guru birthed the village Elders. The Elders birthed their village. Once a Namekian reaches a certain age, they're able to egg up a progenitor as well.
Everyone but Guru and Piccolo are Dende's brother.

But of course, now I'm wondering what it'd be like if/when Piccolo trains Gohan in preparation for the Android Saga, how the Moro arc would turn out (because of the strengthened Namekian Warriors) and of course, how the Buu Saga will fare with Piccolo's micromanagment from back on Earth. In the original he was making calculated decisions but now... he'll probably jump into the fray himself!

Hopefully Goku thinks to use the Time Chamber to catch-up to Piccolo, that way he also stands a chance against King Cold before he goes Super Sayain for the first time in this timeline.

I found your channel yesterday i already watched 2 full series and they were amazing but i realise that the videos of the same series are weeks and even months appart that how can someone watch that in that way? in that time you already forgot everthing i will subscribe to you but i will only watch one of your series when its over because its the only was to see this type of videos i dont understand how you have such a community like this by the way you upload your videos 1 exemple is this video the first part was uploaded 2 years ago wtf how can someone remember what happened in the last 2 episodes man you are the potencial to have millions of subs because of your amazing historys u need to start uploading the next parts of the series at max past a week
The issue with this is a simple word: quality!, masako doesn't want to rush with these episodes cause rushing causes mistakes or unoriginal ideas, yeah some take a month or a year to move along, but just look at the stories he had made, even the one he has finished, they all have twists and turns, actually time and effort, you wouldn't get this if each what if got a new episode each week, and plus what ifs arn't the only content, throwing conversation on topics for the fandom, and even deep lore on subjects that are kinda fuzzy in the series, that's what make him stand out, it sucks waiting, but I rather have a series take long for better episodes then speed him up to just finish the tale as soon as it starts
They may be weeks and eveen months apart but that's why he does recaps. At the start of every what-if that's not a new one. Ya watched 2 whole series and never noticed?

Like in the ‘What If’ with Nappa, Kami uses the Dragon Balls to regain his youth to fight in the android saga. Meanwhile, the Z fighters manage to bring Piccolo back from Namek to assist them, and so he ends up fusing with young Kami to stand up against Perfect Cell. And as so happened in this episode, once both Piccolo and Kami has so much more power compared with the original, this fusion is again unspeakable more outstanding.

Part 4
Gohan wishes to get stronger to make Piccolo proud, while also not wanting to stop studying because he loves knowledge. Goku asks Bulma for the Gravity Ship he used to get to the Namek and twice a week, Goku and Gohan train under intense gravity to try and match Piccolo’s new level. Chi Chi, though frustrated that Gohan wants to train, relents when Gohan explains that he wants to make both of them proud, to be both smart and strong. Because she can understand wanting to make a father figure proud.
(Goku and Piccolo count in this regard)
I don't think Hellzone Grenade is a vaporizing move, I think it's more of a pummeling move, like you're just being pummeled by the exploding ki spheres

If you really think about it the Namekians are one of the most OP races in Dragon Ball. They have high levels or regeneration, made the Dragon Balls and could fuse to increase their power to insane levels. Oh and "unlock hidden power" with a touch that does more than decades of training could do.
If you think about it Piccolo fused with Kami, some one with so little power that the original Dragon Ball enemies seemed strong, yet the result made him more of a threat to Imperfect Cell than a Super Sayian.

What if Piccolo merged with Super Kami Guru?

It’s theorized that the only reason Piccolo could fuse with Nail was because they were both warrior clan types, meaning Piccolo couldn’t fuse with dragon clan (dragon ball makers) members. The only reason Piccolo could fuse with Kami was because they used to be one in the past.
Nail would have a bad time
This is basically how to write a character to have their conclusion in a DBZ setting without the lazy "I'm done with trying to catch up" thing Tine had at the end of Cell saga
This really did justice for Toriyama's potential favorite, except... Piccolo was recently on a side of evil, and for a strong reason. We could at least have used a conversation about that.

You have so many 'what ifs' going on at the minute that I kinda forgot about this one.
Trunks is going to be so confused when King Cold shows up with a bunch of multicolored interpretive dancers instead of Frieza.

So Masako, I did some math regarding the sort of power up Piccolo received from fusing with Nail in this timeline. By doing some calculations based off the list of power levels from the DBZ wiki (and presuming that the movie listings for Piccolo are non-canon for the main timeline) it seems that the way the fusion multiplied his power was to take Nail's 42,000 and multiply it by 1/10th of Piccolo's 3,500, or about 350, to result in 14,700,000, which is just about right for being able to smack 2nd form Freeza around but to fail against 3rd form Freeza given that 2nd form was "over 1,000,000" and Final Form at 50% was 60,000,000. IF we use the same exact math, then taking Nail's 42,000 and multiply it against 1/10th of 40,000, or 4000... that puts him at 168,000,000, or about 18,000,000 over SUPER SAIYAN GOKU.
Yeah. No wonder Freeza was wasted.
The original Piccolo was roughly equal to Frieza’s 2nd form with his weights. However he got overwhelmed by Frieza’s 3rd form. Frieza seems to double his power with each transformation until he reaches his true form. So 1st= 530k, 2nd= about 1.2- 3million, 3rd 2-6 million, true form suppressed 12million (10% of Frieza’s total power)
Here’s a formula I came up with that I used in my fic. (Though I assumed Piccolo got similar growth to Goku on his six days of training, so I’ve got Piccolo before fusing around 90k)
Namekian Fusion equation= Power of base x ((power of fuse/3) / 1000)
OG Piccolo x Nail= 1,260,000 (assuming Piccolo has power of 90k)
Nail x2 = 420,000 (Nail 42k fused with two Namekians At 10k)
Piccolo x fused Nail = 12,600,000

I like the idea that Piccolo is pretty much the strongest of the dragon team right now... And I would like to see that stay a theme in this what if... He was useful in the cannon but Sayains kinda outclassed everyone after this arc was complete... but now I like to think he could be one of the stop fighters for a lot longer.

I feel like at some point this should veer into some of the film territory such as Slug and Metal Cooler, as these actually touch on Namekians in ways the mainline series doesn’t. Would also give Piccolo another chance at badassery while showing off what his trained up disciples can do against the cooler bots without jumping straight to the Android Saga, where it’ll be difficult to stand out amongst the rapid succession SSJ leapfrog that happens throughout that saga.
