- I'm an Irish musician and actor. I have triple-negative breast cancer (grade 3, stage 2). I was diagnosed on 4th December 2019. In this video, I chat the side effects I have from my 2nd AC chemotherapy and the exercise I have been doing. I was very happy to discover the Down Dog (yoga) app at the start of lockdown and would highly recommend it.

Hang in there my sister warrior. Remember me, triple negative stage two, with two limp nodes? Well I want to tell you that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I’m a few weeks ahead of you. That AC is was not a fun time, trust me, I get it. But you will get through it and when do before you know it, it’s time for surgery. So here’s my good news. I had my lumpectomy about a week ago and Im cancer free. I have a small scar under my arm and a small scar on the side of my boob! Do you have six weeks of radiation but that’s a small price to pay. And I guess the real good news that has come out of this is that I feel Like a better Christian. I’ve learned a lot, I’ve learned faith and Because of that, I never feared. My prayers will be with you as well. You’ll be fine. Just keep saying that. My kids did a video. You can find it under my name. I only saw your comment now..I have been bad with comments lately...so glad to hear you are cancer free...woohooo....my recent scan after chemo showed no signs of cancer and have my surgery tomorrow...hope all is still great with you xxx
Ure vlogs are so positive. Love them as they give me a boost and refocus my mind. Ure doing amazing not only in ure own treatment but in promoting positivity thru ure cancer journey x
I too have triple negative with BRCA2 genetic mutation. I recently finished taxol and I'm currently under going A/C. I want to get more exercise but I feel kind of fatigued and worn out. I really appreciate what you are doing for others and I'll continue to check in. I think I too will try some yoga. I used to be so active but it has definitely been a struggle. Thank you for all you do!!
I am BRaC2 and also triple negative! I have 12 weekly cycles of carboplatin/paclitaxel and then 4 cycles of AC.... immunotherapy every 3 weeks. How are you feeling? I am very worried about AC!
