If you want something like this, look for a "hair identifier shaving kit" or something like that, there are many online. Like I said, translucent powder will give you similar results!

❤️ But you, beloved, remember what was foretold by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ when they said to you, “In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow after their own ungodly desires.” These are the ones who cause divisions, who are worldly and devoid of the Spirit. But you, beloved, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God as you await the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you eternal life.❤️

Thank YOU for watching!
XOXO!

I derma plane every few weeks but you really need to hold that tool at an angle. Think of the razors that we have, the blades are inserted at a 45° angle so when we shave it feels like it's 90° but it really is not
Thank you that was driving me crazy! 😜
I'm just lazy and use an actual razor. The only advantage dermaplaners have is the smaller size.
It’s like that snow stuff for windows at Christmas!
I just moisturize my face and do the entire face, it’s a great way exfoliating your face, I have been doing it for years and there has been no difference in hair thickness.
Your husband was not fazed at all, how cute! I don't think this is needed at all! But I do shave my face and never looked back!!
LOL! He always expects the weird with me - haha!
@@Zabrena LOL! That is adorable!
Aww it was so nice to hear you talking to your hubs. I know he doesn’t want to be on camera, but it was nice to see that part of your life. I’ve been a subscriber for almost 10 years and I love you like a real life friend lol. Sending you lots of love mama.
❤same ❤
Aw HUGS to you my sweet friend :)
Manufacturers will produce anything to make money and people will buy it, amazing! Honestly, I don´t see any difference between your shaved face and the other side.
Hmmm 🤔
My lovely Zabrina, I'm a hairy Greek, used to be Auburn haired ~ now a fine salt and pepper. I'm afraid I'd prove that old wives tail wrong and grow that beard 😲🤣💖
I dermaplane all the time in front of a 10x magnified mirror lol. Does not come back thicker. My best friend has been doing it for 15 years and nobody can tell. Go at a 45 degree angle straight down in short strokes. Up a little bit for just under my eyes. I use the Sephora refillable razor and blades. They’re so sharp and last such a long time plus a great deal when on sale.
Facing a bright sunny window, I can see the hair just fine!
Honey noooooo Why would you angle the blade the other way around....
I can attest that shaving really makes makeup look better and the skin generally. I simply shave, looking in the mirror with the light or window behind me and the peach fuzz shows up nicely for shaving. Don't forget under chin and neck as well!
Wow! We got to hear Hubbie! Wish we could meet him sometime. 😊
Yes. Can’t imagine what he looks like
I don't think I want to breathe that chemical in. Also - I read - Peach fuzz
Also known as vellus hair, this fine, short hair protects the skin and helps regulate body temperature. It can be found on the face, upper lip, chin, cheeks, neck, and ear lobes. So it does serve a purpose.
I dermaplane once a month. I think the spray powder would be beneficial for me as I have trouble seeing the hair - I swear it's translucent!
Haha! It definitely can be that!
I use the flawless. Amazon sells it. I had the old version and it worked well but took a long time. The new version is much better because the head is larger and there's a little light that shines on it so it helps you see where the peach fuzz is. I use it once a week. I love it.
I had derma-planing at my last facial. It was so soft and you are right, the foundation applies like a dream! Your hubby is so funny!
Not sure why the idea of hair growing back thicker if you shave your face ever got started. It's silly if you stop to think about it. All you are doing is cutting the hairs off, what in the world would make it come back in thick? What does affect the hairs is waxing though. If you wax it, you are pulling the hair out below the surface of the skin and they can come back weird! I had this happen on my arms. The hair came back in black and curly! UGH!
I'm wondering if dry shampoo will work. 🤔
I’ve tried “shaving” the hair off of my face many times and with many different products and I always end up with a ton of breakouts! I’m 62 so it’s not a normal thing for me to get breakouts. Any suggestions?
I’ve been using a regular razor for years. In the shower. No mirror. Like my Dad. 😂😂😂😂
I just use a regular razor. I did laugh at the spray on your face.
I can’t dermaplane :( I have tried and it just makes me break out
I just shave my face with a razor to get the same result.
I've been shaving/dermaplaning my face for years. I just use a regular razor and a cup of water.
Kitty!! I use the razors and love the way my face feels and my makeup goes on.
I've shaved the peach fuzz from my face twice before in my life and although day one was great, then when it grows back in, it's weird feeling and scratchy, and I remember thinking, "Am I going to have to shave my face every other day the rest of my life to keep this up?" The answer was NOPE. Too much hassle, too much work, and not one person has ever said anything about the peach fuzz on my cheeks or the little blonde hairs above my lips, they're all natural, and I don't need that much maintenance in my life. Besides, what will the little beads of sweat cling to now that it's summer? Glad you tried it out though, it's definitely a gimmick.
Oh, wow. I've been doing this for years and no way do I need to do it every other day, that would be super annoying lol But now, I'm wondering what actually happens to my sweat 😅
@@chrissyf1656I agree; the idea that you have to do it every day after the first time is an old wive’s tail, and it does not change the texture. I’ve been dermaplaning for about 4 years now. It really makes your makeup go on much more smoothly.
The spray may be a gimmick, but dermaplaning isn’t. And no; the hair doesn’t come back faster or thicker than if you hadn’t dermaplaned. That’s an old wive’s tale. Dermatologists will tell you that, too.
@@QueenOfTheNorth65 From Harper's Bazaar: Dr. Julia Tzu, Director of Wall Street Dermatology, recommends it for women with a significant amount of facial hair, but warns that for women who don't, not only is shaving unnecessary, it may cause damage to the skin, too: "The shaving process can introduce small abrasions on the surface of the skin that can cause irritation and infection. Just like for men, it can also cause razor bumps that represent ingrown hairs (pseudofolliculitis) or hair follicle infections (folliculitis) and are annoying for most people.
I only do it like twice a month at most. Don't ever shave dark hairs. FYI.
I just use dry shampoo spray.
That seriously can't be good for you
Hi Zabrena, I enjoyed watching this video, i shave my peach fuzz of my face, and I agree your makeup does apply more smoothly afterwards, no you don’t need this product, but I think for a beginner shaving their face it can be a good guide, I just love your cat, I smile every time I see him,he is just adorable, your husband has a nice deep voice.Love Katherine xoxo
I was completely convinced that I would grow a beard. I just dermaplaned tonight, I've been doing it for over a month now and no change in my facial hair growth. If you're afraid, just bite the bullet and try it. My hair is the same thickness as it was over a month ago with no change in the regrowth. It really does make your makeup products so much more impactful. 💙💙
The problem is that you don't grow a beard over night, it can take several years before you see a change in regrowth. I know from person experience. A professional told my aunt the same thing, that the hair doesn't grow up back thicker, etc, but it did with me... I completely regret it because even a full treatment of laser hair removal only slowed it down for a little while.
@@NickaLah It's hard to say, though, because as you age your hair gets thicker or darker anyway. Estrogen starts to wane . I never shaved my face in my 20s, but as I got deeper into my 30s, the hair above my lip started getting darker and now I have to shave it or use depilatory cream to get rid of the shadow. 😞
@@NickaLahThat’s not from shaving your face; that’s from changes in estrogen as you age. That would happen whether or not you shaved your face.
Enjoyed your demonstration! I go against the growth of the hair. Seems the hair comes off better for me. When I think I a. Done, I can see where I missed some. The spray would be handy for that. Thanks
Shaving with translucent powder ? Please tell 😊
I wanna see your hubby 😎♥️
Can you please do a follow up on your face so we can see hair doesn't come in thicker? I've always wanted to shave my face but scared to. Thank you.
Your hubby sounds FOXY!!! Mine two. Ya
Thanks Zabrena! I'm glad to hear the she-beard is a myth. 😂
That was great!! 😂😂😂 but it really does make a differance when you derma plane!
Ooh... I love the eyeshadow look you're wearing in your closing clip! what shade is it?
I'd think any dry shampoo can do the same thing.
I've been shaving my face since I went thru aesthetic school back in 2006, just a plain ole razor (dedicated, plz, don't use one on your legs then start shaving your face!) will work just fine. I've been doing this once a week, it does make your skin super smooth and is a great exfoliator, as well!
I hope your own weekend is just as fabulous as mine!!
You are so stinkin' pretty! Ugh. Please do a tutorial on whatever your go to every day summer face is right now
i took a disposible razor just to try and i agree, makeup looks so much better! i have no problems anymore making my foundation look like "my skin but better". so now i shave my fuzz when i feel i need it.
Bonus tip when shaving your face, your skin care absorbes far better, and you exfoliating the skin at the same time 🎉❤
Yes, but a one blade as opposed to regular three blade razor
I use dry shampoo 🥹
No , not for me 😊
You have such beautiful plump skin lol my face seems to get thinner and thinner and i feel like I'm just losing that 'plumpness" look. I'm not sure if the word in English
I’ve always admired Zabrena’s beautiful complexion. She’s a beautiful person, overall. 🙂
😮 my kitty buddy!!!!😂😂❤❤ lol...love the fur babies. Was that your hubbins voice!? I think I'm gonna have to try the face shaving...lol
Like mine, Micah just had to what she was doing. 😻
I love watching you, I enjoy how you laugh at yourself and I feel that invites us to laugh WITH you❣️❣️❣️ but yes I did see a difference 😊
Haha! :) Thank you for being here, beautiful! :)
Makeup does go on better...but I use shave cream and a regular razor. I don't have the patience for the dermaplane razors.
Same! I was waiting on this comment lol but yes this way works pretty good and I even rinse off the razor with water every few strokes my skin is so smooth no stubble ever lol
You can ise SPF in a spray (aerosol) and it works the same(dont rub in leave it white) but its also glides easily
Definitely noticable difference. Thanks Zabrena .
I have this sitting in my Walmart cart lol
Then I guess it's a good thing I don't wear foundation. I never did. I'm a Floridian Gen X Woman Mom and Wife We spent EVERY WEEKEND @ the beach without fail. It's where we ALL met up with our friends, hung out caught some ☀️ rays & planned the rest of the day & made plans for Saturday Night ✌️❤️ We didn't have the luxury (NOT)!! of Cell Phones so this is just how we rolled. I STILL tan, I just don't do it on the Beach anymore bc the temperature has gone up 10° Summer Time Weather & I don't appreciate the sweaty hot AT 2-4 HOURS minimum for what I can get for 10 MINUTES in the Tanning Bed. That's all I have patience for! All that 2 say I feel healthier with Natural Vitamin D Color than wearing foundation that shows off my very Loved Very EARNED fine lines & I just don't Fing care! My AMAZING HUSBAND is the only one who has to look at them other than myself. Back to foundation, NEVER wore it, NEVER liked the way it looked on my face, NEVER had breakouts & ALL of that has stayed the same. My skin looks fine, I do use Skincare & I do use Blush, like the liquid blush & bronzer on just bare skin. A little lip product & it's a WRAP. Never liked cake face & since I'm a Gen X GIRLY, Foundation Formula's weren't what they are now & I'm not shaving my peach fuzz. I never minded it & still don't. Not gonna start shaving my face @ 50. I'm good.
Zabrena I have never shave my face.
Have a bless weekend too.
Shaving white peach fuzz wont grow back thicker or darker because its not hormonal hair. Dont shave dark hairs...those will grow back thicker and different. Just a little info for those who don't already know.
1:33 HELLO GORGEOUS!
Weirdly, when I've tried dermaplaning or shaving any part of my face, it's fine for a day or two but then that part of my face feels super rough until the peach fuzz grows back. I once did this only on my chin to see if it would help exfoliate and make my moisturizer work better. The rest of my face felt way softer than my chin after only a day.
I use dry shampoo lol
😂 great and true video!
Just use a razor. Shave like man. Cheaper, easier, same result.
Thank so much for this video!
I am a very lucky person that I can’t grow hair on my face, my legs and arms. I somehow scathed the Spanish side of my ancestry.
Shaving your face does make a big difference in your makeup application
I just got over a cold sore undery nose, and on my lip. I hate those things!! I've never used the bandages thanks for the info
This would probably be beneficial for eye brook hair as well. I am blonde but have all these random little hairs around the eyebrow that I always miss.
I feel like talc free baby powder on a fluffy brush would also do this.
Or dry shampoo maybe?
I bought a bag of tapioca starch at the grocery store to use as baby powder substitute. Maybe this would work as well ?
I’ve tried to dermaplane in the past but I have sensitive rlly dry skin, flaky in some areas and dermaplaning irritates my skin like crazy
Craving a dupe video from you! I’ll keep checkin to see
I love that your kitty makes a cameo appearance in your video😂😂😂😂 I’ll try the translucent powder to see if I can see the small hairs, thanks for that suggestion.
Yes! I love it when the fur babies make a “guest appearance “ in her videos! 😻
I love my skin after doing this.😁🇨🇦💜
Hi! What shade are you using in the foundation? Love it❤
I’m so scared to use those razors I bought some and I can’t figure out how to use them I tried the way you did but on me they don’t work!
I just shave with face soap when I get foaming …
Your technique needs work.
It does! LOL
This gives me crazy zits 😢😢 I just do small parts here n there
Would waxing your face have the same effect?
Yes! You can definitely see the difference in your skin from side-to-side!😊
Would baɓy powder do the same thing?
I get my face razors on Amazon. They work great!!
Love ya zebrena❤
I see this being fun for a girls home spa day in. Get enough wine or mimosas in and this will be good for some laughs :)
Haha…yes, sounds like fun, but I may inadvertently shave off half my eyebrow. 😂😂
@kimberlyl3177 oh I would totally do that! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I kind of regret starting shaving my face. In my case, personally, I don't like the prickly feeling and once you start you have to keep it up. I'm also 55 so that may make a difference. I commented on another influencer that if I were a really young girl with a little peach fuzz I would do it. The influencer got a little snappy with me. 🤷♀️ 😅
Eeesh, sorry to hear about the snappy influencer! I appreciate you sharing your experience and you're right, age may make a difference in it.
Hey Zabrena I actually use men razors 😬. I had a habit of sometimes cutting myself. So if anyone is like me try men razors. They a sharp but tailored for the face to get all of the hair off but much more safe. And it does the same job.
I too use men's razors but only for my legs and underarms...they're made to last so much longer than the wimpy stuff we women are sold just to get us to purchase more often. We're not only targeted for shame-based marketing but also sold some inferior and overpriced products.
@@msr1116 yes their razors are tailed for daily use on their face, which is a delicate area of the body so they are usually well made. They have more safe guards than female razors because it’s made for the face.
@@lynch8418 .. just as I ran extremely low on razors and cartridges, my local store had a bunch on display at super clearance prices. I grabbed them all and am now set for the next few years 😁
I just use a light misting spray with water.
baby powder same concept
You are holding the razor wrong 😮
Dermatologists will tell you it's best not to remove the hair off you face because doing so you are asking for bacteria, and possibly foreign materials/chemicals that are still on the New blades from the manufacture.
Girl 45° angle on that razor!
After you shaved the hair on your face, did your skin feel irritated? Or dry?. Im afraid i'll cut myself and get an infected cut.
I didn't have that experience :)
@@Zabrena thanks for responding!
😂❤
Let's keep in mind everyone is different and that the people telling you it grows back in thicker or different than before aren't necesarrily lying about it. It can take a long time before it starts to grow in faster/thicker/etc, because it happened to me slowly over several years and even laser hair removal only slowed it down for a year before it grew back faster than ever.
Let's remember that the people telling you it is an old wive's tale are also the ones that get more business if it starts growing in faster... they may not even be doing it on purpose, it probably just spread that gossip does, that's how tips/tricks/advice spread when I was a dog groomer. Eventually everyone in the industry gets the memo lol. Even professionals may not understand that it can take years before it affects regrowth, since it can happen so slowly and it depends on how often you do it.
i had an issue with ingrown hairs
Yea hold that baby at an angle.
❤
2nd ❤❤❤. I got it as well & fell for it & can't wait till mine comes.
Hi gorgeous. ❤
Shaving fluffy hair makes the hair, within time become stronger and thicker because this area is an hormonal area.
I have a beauty salon and never had I ever shaved my customers face !😮
For the long run use waxing or epilation technique only !!
Shaving cuts the hair into a blunt end which is why it feels rough as it grows back. An added bonus of waxing or any type of hair removal that plucks the hairs is over a long period of time many people find they have less regrowth (same principle of how over plucked eyebrows will never fully grow back).
❤️👍
what facial razor did you use?
Oh these were the ones that came with the spray but you can find them anywhere, WalMart, Walgreens, etc. :)
This is a bad idea. I don't know why exactly, but I feel like it's going to be one of those trends that messes up people's faces forever. Like overplucking in the early 90's left everyone having to get tattooed eyebrowns....that ended up drooping as the face naturally aged over time. It's ok to NOT jump on every band wagon. Shaving you face is wrong, period.
I've derma-planed for years and years and my skin is better for it. Products absorb so much better and any makeup applies so much smoother. ❤️ There's absolutely nothing wrong with shaving the baby hairs off of your face.
Shaving YOUR face may be wrong but it isn't for others. I've been dermaplaning for years with no adverse affects. So I guess you think men shaving is wrong too? Their skin isn't much different than a woman
I had a dermatologist say it’s fine to shave, and also said it’s a myth that hair grows back thicker.
Totally agree.
@@bellabelle6 Then, it´s a myth that happened to me.
