What a lovely human being .Stuart’s son is one lucky boy to have a dad like him.he should be so proud of the way he is and carries himself.total respect to him
Thoroughly enjoyed this. Stuart's energy is infectious and he's a true credit to his brother Stephen. Keep shining brother 👏
❤️
We need more Stuart’s in the world. Big respect too you sir.
Hearing Stephen's brother speaking about the tragedy really brought it to life for me. Lovely, articulate and intelligent person. Great interview James, you asked some great questions, with kindness and respectfulness. Have to say, hearing about lies the press circulated about Stephen being involved in drugs and gangs was disgusting. Thoughts are with the Lawrence family and admiration for what they have all contributed and achieved. RIP Stephen.
Can you Imagine What Stephen Would have Achieved 💯 Having Such a Dignified, So Respectful family, R.I.P Stephen 🙏🏻 from Cardiff 🏴 ✌🏻
I was 11 when Stephen was brutally murdered and he’s been in my heart, ever since. I know it’s because after seeing photos of him, it was clear to see that he was an incredible kind young man and it hurts me, a stranger, so so much that he was taken for no reason. I will never forget him.
This man’s dignity and all-round togetherness and strength is awe-inspiring. Family were so wronged, the story is tragic.
An honest and raw account from a very strong role model of our time. You are a shining light Stuart. You truly demonstrate that hate only breeds hate. Your positive kindness is obvious for the world to see. 🙏🏾
What a nice dude. Can tell a good guy when you see one. Such a terrible thing to happen to his brother. Another great insightful podcast James. Keep up the good work man!👍✌
Thanks gaz
Hopefully justice will be served on the perpetrators and those in the Old Bill who assisted in the corruption of the cover up.
Stephen would've been the same age as me if he was still here, it feels like yesterday when this horrific murder happened. Love to Stuart and to all the lawrence family, he'll never be forgotten.
Same here. Watch the last episode of his murder documentary on here it’s utterly brilliant where they finally catch up with two of the scumbags who killed him ❤
Stuart actually spoken to me in person abt the story of his brother it’s genuinely heartbreaking
Stuart seems a very well grounded guy, despite and not because what he and his family went through. His brother would be proud.
Amazing interview - I hope I see him speak more often, very articulate and good to listen to (despite the sad content). So sorry for what his family went through, absolutely despicable that true justice was never served.
Stuart comes across as a very humble, genuine and gracious soul that many people could learn a lot from. Carrying bitterness in your heart only turns you bitter. Moving on from tragedy or wrongdoings with peace is an undeniably powerful trait. Great interview 💫
This man is amazing. To be so calm while going through this horrendous ordeal is incredible. 💙🏴 respect.
Stephen's dad came so my school must be 20 years ago to talk about what happened and how bad knife crime is. That really hit home and will never forget what a brave man he was. Fair play to Stewart getting on with his life and being a great role model.
I was born and brought up near Eltham and remember the time very well I was 20 at the time. I can say parts of the area was rife with racism at the time . Have total admiration and respect for Stuart for the way he described and narrated Stephens story and how he looks at how life should be handled even through his tragic circumstances. "Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.” Martin Luther King
Did you know any of them
Love this…… RIP Steve and Stuart you are a credit to the family 🙏🏿❤️
The most incredible man! Just a beautiful soul, his brother lives in him and is endlessly proud. You are remarkable 💛 Wish you all the luck and love in the world
❤️
What a nice genuine guy Stuart seems
He will be a brilliant father. What a strong man.
Stuart You are an absolute credit to you and you're family, god bless
Watching this interview was so overwhelming xx. Stuart your such a lovely, intelligent, brave man, as well as your family. Your brother Stephen would be so very proud of you all. No family should ever have to go through something as horrific as this, especially a family as lovely as yours. You are an inspirational family in every way. Thinking of all your family & your lovely brother Stephen. God bless you all. 💗 xxx
❤️
Captivating, heartbreaking and also infuriating that this could happen. Stuart and all the Lawrence family are so dignified Brilliant interview. These podcasts and guests keep getting better.
❤️
The Lawrence's father did an amazing job, in bringing up two amazing sons to be so proud of. Such a contrast to those 5 poor excuses of men, that are unable to comprehend how their inherent hate has ruined their own lives, beyond all recognition, and they will most likely live the remainder of their lives in negativity and ignorance. How very sad and their parents probably don't even realise how badly they failed their 5 sons either. Let's hope lessons have been learnt.
What on earth is wrong with people defacing a murdered dead boys plaque . Absolutely disgraceful and shameful behaviour . RIP Steven
This guy is so humble and has a beautiful soul. We need more people like this in life. Truly sad story. I remember it well. Another great podcast James ❤️
Your son will be a man who will stand strong like you ..No doubt ❤❤
What a truly humbling experience hearing this wonderful human being speak Total respect and admiration for you Stuart 👏 stay strong 💪
What a credit to himself and his family and a great interview too James top man 👏🏾
What an Amazing Guy!
I'm the same age as Stephen and was absolutely shocked at his death, I lost a brother at age 8 and can relate to Stuart feeling his brothers death was a punishment for something he may have done, We blame ourselves as kids..
We are all human regardless of colour and its such a shame there is such hate in this world, I wish him the best in his life with his family, Great interview James.. xx
Very hard to watch. I will never forget hearing the news about Stephen. I felt sick. You could see Stephen was a good kid and you could see what kind of boys his murderers are. Well done Stuart you are an amazing voice for your brother and all victims of race hate crimes and police corruption. Change must come.🙏
Stuart what a fantastic role model he is for young people, after all that he’s been through, great interview James
What a great bloke it was heartbreaking what he’s family had to go through.. wish them all the best and RIP Stephen god bless
My grandad and uncle was both killed but it made me such a angry person for years, after hearing his story and how he dealt with it I wish I could of been more like him what an amazing strong man, I hope he goes around to schools and speaks to young kids about his story. Or gets in to Counselling young people. What a role model.
Another great story shared from the beginning. Well done Stuart here's to your families successful future! RESPECT
Well balanced guy. I wish him and his family luck in life. Great interview.
What a breath of fresh air. Very articulate and well mannered.
Great interview. Love your channel. Been following this historical event again recently with 30th anniversary coming up. Stuart seems relaxed and I’m glad it doesn’t seem to have drastically affected his life.
What a intelligent well spoken man
What a wonderful articulate man, Stephen would of been so proud of him ❤️ Stephen was roughly the same age as me when he lost his life and I lived local to where he died , so bloody sad, I wasn’t sure I wanted to watch this but it really touched me, bless this family. 💜
I am truly ashamed that this beautiful family has been and still is being so disrespected.
Stuart you are one amazing soul you are able for forgiveness
Well done for spreading the wisdom. Great work.
What a podcast and what a man, what a role model, things I have heard about this story and when you listen to a man like this makes you realise how bad it was and to come out so mentally strong, respect to you fella👊
God bless this man and his family. I hate what they’ve had to go through. May Stephen rest in peace
What a sad thing too happen. Such a powerful interview. ITS NOT ALL ABOUT HARD MEN. Brilliant interview Jamesy keep them coming fella. Bravo fella and bet some of these interviews you have to be strong yourself.
Thanks gav ❤️
I was born in 1992 and one of my earliest memories is reading about Stephen at school and being heartbroken and angry at the same time, even at that early age.
Stuart seems like a top man, and my thoughts and love will forever go out to him and his family.
What an absolute gentleman. Nice work James.
❤️
What a wonderful beautiful soul Stuart is . Lovely interview .
Very emotional listen. Wishing healing for the family
Doreen and Neval bought up there three children the right way as you can see by Stuart. Know that first hand, and no im not black trying to defend them.
This fact the killerS had a life of crime before and after the case and have been relatively unpunished since pisses me off so much. RIP SL
What a lovely guy a credit to his parents and himself i wish the Lawrence family all the best x
Outstanding James, what a genuine & all round good egg Stuart is ❤️
❤️
Great Interview with Stuart Lawrence, on honouring his Brother's Memory and Legacy. Just like the late Maime Till did for her son the late Emmett Till and she fought Relentlessly to seek justice for son as Doreen did and still does for Stephen.
R.I.P Stephen Lawrence, Emmett Till, George Stinney Jr, Alexander Mclay Williams.
ILL NEVER FORGET,THOSE WIDE BOYS SWAGGERING ABOUT WITH SHADES ON GOING INTO COURT,WHILE STEVENS FAMILY WHERE IN PIECES. DISGRACEFULL....
Remember them fighting the camera men outside of court
Horrible image I’ll never forget also.
Love the fact Stuart has turned a negative into a positive.Brilliant man 👏🏼 Role Model
What a man, such a beautiful person, I was quite emotional throughout this interview. I also agree with with what he said about when he was growing up, being black was not an issue. I grewup on Scotland Road in liverpool and there was no racist issues, no gay issues..... we all lived exactly the same. These issues have been created, blown up quite bad over the latter years. But this guy is a credit to his brother x
We have a pretty good idea of what Stephen would look like today. Bless you Stuart.
My niece was at school round the corner from where Stephen was murdered, she told me that the day after he was killed, the local racists in Eltham went on a march. At one point, the racists climbed over the school playground fence and the teachers had to get all the kids inside.
Such bollocks😂🤦🏼♂️
yep, absolute bollox
Wishing all the best to the Lawrence family it was sad what happened to Stephen Lawrence thanks James for this brilliant podcast
❤️
@@JamesEnglish all the best James keep making these great podcasts your doing great work best from a fellow glaswegian 👍
This should have more views, brilliant interview.
Everyone should do an A.C.E count on themselves and their kids.
Adverse Childhood Experiences.
Look it up, it made sense to me and I was in my 40’s 🙌🙏
I am subscribing to your channel. Just WOW!!! First of all James you are an absolute G I loved listening to this and you have just gained a new sub! As for Stuart, he is a warrior and not easy to talk about this experience! I first remember on the venting news when the double jeopardy law came out and I was on the phone to Scotland Yard about Stephens case as were many others. I remember taking two weeks off work and waking up early everyday and getting a train to the old Bailey and standing in the queue to get into the gallery to listen to this case. It was horrific and so emotional. I was lucky enough to be at the sentencing and let me tell you that Dobsons and Norris family were in the gallery with us and they were swearing and shouting all types of MADDNESS in court. I’m looking forward to hearing the outcome of the two outstanding cases because that was police corruption at its finest. Norris dad had contacts with the police and was paying the police off. These guys should never come out! Good bless STUART and his positive outlook on life and blessings to his family .
What a top guy. Feel for him. Lost his only brother. RIP STEPHEN
This guy was from woolwich and south east London but he sounds very posh . I am from the same area's . And not many people sound like him from these places .
Such a diginified family. Sorry he lost his brother, much respect.
What a nice guy. Such an awful thing to happen, I hope the animals who did it stay behind bars forever, which unfortunately won’t happen. All the best for the future to Stuart.
Nice guy . What a sad story! Great work James. Keep hustling bruvva !
You need to get Duane brooks on
Im a very thick skinned alpha male. This has made me so sad. RIP angel
Lovely interview. Have to admit I had to skip about the event so harsh so young but his memory lives on
Very powerful and moving James lad, boss mate 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
May God rest your soul for eternity in paradise Stephen. May God bless your friends and family. As well as Stuart and his friends and family.
Very sad story, brutal thing to happen, another great podcast james love from Dublin Ireland ❤🙏☘
❤️
REST IN PEACE STEPHEN LAWRENCE 🙏🏾
Personally think it’s really brave and honest for Stuart to talk about his brother. The madness of the justice system , just one case and one loving son, brother , human murdered for no reason at all. So sad and hope things are getting better or improving at least . So many people are quick to judge, including the police. Big love to u and ur family ❤️ and great real life /honest interview again James ❤️
He's an inspiration to us all, top bloke.
Few comments missing from earlier ????
This is the best one yet in my opinion
Great podcast James great how to let Stuart tell his story keep up the good work
Thanks Glenn
What a man 👏👏👏👏👏inspiration!!
This guy came to my school I asked him some questions for the whole school loved him
Now, can we hear from Kriss Donald's mum or siblings? I'd like to hear their side of the story of one of the most shocking, horrific and gruesome racist murders in British history.
Respect to this man and his family ..god Bess🙏🏻💕
I’m reading Stuart’s book right now it’s really good for motivation
Such a lovely Man🙏
Great interview, much respect to the Lawrence family…
Sat here mesmerized Listening to this young man. Well-spoken and articulate, to be able to hold himself together after all the injustices he and his family have been through speaks volumes for him and his family. I do hope that one day those racists who took Stephen's life have the conscience to admit their guilt and ask for forgiveness and to give Stephen's family some resemblance of closure Well done James fantastic Interview mate seamless as always.
What about all the other unsolved murders in England
It's heartbreaking that he wasn't helped on the scene all the wasted minutes not even the first aid kit such an absolute shame 😔makes me feel so sad
The killers families are as much to blame as they are.
God Bless.
I dont think this was a hate crime. I was told by coppers at the time it was over drugs
They always say drugs, lame excuse. It was what it was a hate crime!
Bullshit
Coppers think they can do anything the bastards and get away with it , they cover it all up
The same corrupt coppers who tried to cover it up?
PMSL
*The guy who killed Stephen Lawrence has had his head split open in jail with socks filled with tuna cans more times then you can care to count.*
How do you know this if you don’t mind me asking? I hope it’s true
Shame some of the racist pigs didn’t get the same treatment
@@JAJDW from people in jail , and its even been in the papers few times where he's been found left nearly for dead.
Prove it
Divine Retribution perhaps ?
Nothing to do with a turf war over drug dealing then ?
No. Nothing. You gammon.
what an amazing dude
Sad one bro R.I.P. 💯🙏
