And BoJack's right...I think of the fourth episode of season 1...BoJack was a struggling actor and terrible stand up comedian until someone like Herb came up to him at the bar to introduce himself. It was connection with Herb who pitched that show to execs which got BoJack fame and fortune in the first place.
How can a cartoon series with characters who look like horses and cats remind you so much of the real life where other filmed series cannot archieve such a great feeling and give you something faked instead ?.
As someone who is autistic and had trouble communicating my love, apologies, and frustration to those around me, this episode broke me into tears. Throughout the entire episode, there is basically no dialogue and neither the city nor Bojack understood each other. Yet this is when you see Bojack at his most human, going out of his way to try and care for a newborn that will probably never remember or understand him. And when he finally had the words to say to his director, it came out as a muddled mess. I always felt like I was trying to choose the right words and actions to fit the world's puzzle but could never get the timing or emotion right and ended up hurting myself, sometimes even others. However, Bojack's letter still struck a chord with me: those connections are our only tethers to the world, and if any are broken, we have the choice of fixing them or establishing another with the mistakes we learned from. I'm so fucking glad I picked up this show, I genuinely stand by the fact that this is the most human work of art ever conceived.
The very last line in this episode before this one actually explains this episode really well: "Only after you give up everything can you finally find a way to be happy." Bojack can't speak, and is forced to play with, and as, a baby.
The moment Bojack handed Kelsey the letter before she handed it back really stuck with me. To me, it was symbolic that no matter how much you regret your past wrongdoings, if you wait too long, your words come out muddied and meaningless. You can apologize with the utmost sincerity, but it doesn't matter if the person you're apologizing to has given up on you.
A Classy Splatter it certainly was an interesting episode. A whole story could be told with no words spoken. I also liked one of the episodes from the newest season that takes a sort of reverse approach to that - the one where he’s giving a eulogy for his mother - and he’s able to tell an entire story and set a mood with his words alone. Just him. No wacky hijinks from todd or a Diane to complain to - just his words coming from his mouth all in one sitting and in one location. These episodes were certainly the most interesting approaches to a storyline to me.
@Evan Weaver I just finished watching the Eulogy Episode. I think I can say it was one of my favorite episodes. This entire show is amazing, it makes you think - sometimes more than you want to, and hits home harder than you'd expect.
Well think of all the things Bojack ruined for PC. All of the things he did, he deserves it. It's not about the things that happened to him, or all the shit when he was a kid, it's just him. Fuck man, what else is there to say
That warm feeling of emptiness when the credits start rolling. This is the best show ever made. Thanks Raphael Bob-Waksberg, this was the best and most depressing season of Bojack Horseman so far. Can't wait for season 4.
+Nguyen The Hao I'm from a different country and I love this show so mucg and I try to spread the word to everyone but they get turned off. In my country unless it's anime no one will watch an animated show since they think it's for kids. which is sad.
I like how realetable it is, I mean sure, its about about Holywoo, but I'm fairly sure its a metaphor for existence itself. Oh you watched the show, you get it.
"You can't just keep on doing terrible things and then being sorry about it! Everything that is wrong with you is you! It's not the alcohol or the drugs or all the bad things that happen to you, it's you! You need to be better!... Fuck man. what else is there to say?"
It amazes me that what he did to Kelsey mirrors how he treated Herb, and I just don’t know whether I should be mad at BoJack for not learning from his past mistakes or sad that he grew up in a family that made him believe that flaws like this are the very things that connects people.
The moment he wrote on that paper "In this terrifying world, all we have are the connections that we make" I couldn't hold back my tears. This is something I believed in from a long time ago and watching this getting portrayed in my favorite show really hit hard.
This episode really changed my perspective of Bojack Horseman. At First, I didn't expect a episode with almost no dialogue, but it happened and showed the most emotional episode of the series so far. This series is the best

+Michael Mitchell I made the mistake of reading the comments before finishing the season, and someone *SPOILERS AHEAD* spoiled Sarah Lynn's death too me. Needless to say that it ruined episode 11 to me. :/
This show is just... wow. Instead of forcing happy nonrealistic endings like most shows do these days, this show gives you a cruel honest ending to each episode. It reminds you that life isn't a fairytale. There isn't always gonna be a happy ending.

I was about to listen to this song in the dark while feeling depressed. But... I don't want to fetishize my sadness. This is a great song but I'll listen to it when I'm good, not to feed into any bullshit.
Well when person have good selfcontrol about himself i dont see reason why not to "enjoy" your sadness when you are already sad as long as it doesnt take motivation from you and doesnt make you losing focus about the real problem.
Taneisha: So what, I should just settle ? Bojack: Yes, thank you, exactly. Settle. Because otherwise you’re just gonna get older and harder, and more alone. And you’re gonna do everything you can to fill that hole, with friends, and your career, and meaningless sex, but the hole doesn’t get filled. One day, you’re gonna look around and you’re going to realize that everybody loves you, but nobody likes you. And that is the loneliest feeling in the world
I think I found my new funeral song. Thank you Bojack Horseman for proving that an adult comedy series doesn't need toilet humor, crude jokes and controversial themes. All it needs is well written stories, characters we can relate to and heart.
Agreed, I mean come on the Fetus-Aquafina episode? Thing is that it does these themes so well, that it feels like it's not crude in its refined crudeness. Does this make any sense? :D
OK, Just saw the Aquafina episode and yes Bojack is know for controversial themes etc. What I meant to say was that the writers don't force those themes in almost every episode and know when the right times to use those subject and write them so well into the episodes. Unlike shows such as Family Guy which should just get cancelled again.
+bjhale yea, but it doesn't need those. What I love of the show is how it leaves you feeling that everything could've gone better (sorry for my bad english and blah), but it's still not the worst that could've happened, kind of how life is.
Alex Fisher that's the ultimate joke of the show, is that these characters are more human than almost any other characters in TV or movies, and half of them are animals. We love these characters and when they suffer, we feel just as much as they do. They're human and we love them
That's because you get to know him for who he really is, without hypocrisy or some of those shitty things that humans create in this fucked up society.
that episode was... one of my favorite bojack horseman episodes. no.... My favorite bojack horseman episode. And one of my favorite episodes of any cartoon ever. The atmosphere, the symbolism, the message, bojack's character, the music, the story, the action, the pacing, the comedy, etc. Everything is perfect. This episode was amazing, and I cried... alot. The creators of this show are creative geniuses.
absolutely beautiful this sounds ridiculous but I'm crying at the moment. Recently I lost my brother who I was very close to, I'm 16 he was 19, and I remember first showing him Bojack. I never knew if he watched more after that or not at University, but when I looked through his Netflix history after he died, I saw he's seen every episode. I was watching the new season, and watching this episode, I though 'wow this is oddly beautiful, and I'm so happy he would have seen it'. I then realised he hadn't seen the new season, of course not, and I just imagined me asking him, and us watching together, so in the same way I have many songs that make me think of my brother, that we listened to together, this one is the heartbreaking song that we would have enjoyed together.
I never thought I would find such a beautiful Voice in the comments section.... I think your brother is proud right now, of how strong you are, and he is enjoying Bojack Horseman from heaven, right next to Sarah Lynn...I hope you are okay and all my best wishes to you and your family....there's people out there thinking on you :)
What if I told you that a cartoon about animals portraying larger-than-life people is arguably the most profound show right now on the human experience? That a show filled with cheap visual gags, elementary puns, and occasionally the most absurd humor, offers a story so refreshing and insightful on loneliness, depression, and relationships that an alcoholic, mean-spirited, washed up Hollywoo actor who is a horse...man can somehow be a voice of reason and the most relatable, naked character on any medium I and millions of others, affected from mental illness or know someone who is, share kindred spirit with? Would you believe me then?
If the present human condition relates to Bojack, wouldn't you then say, that humanity is a self-inflicted condition, because he could fix many things if he saw the bigger picture.
One of BoJack's biggest flaws is that if he doesn't ask for it, he tends not to listen to what people have to say as he's conceited enough to believe he's the smartest guy in the room. Ana probably told him all about the helmets, but he glazed over it because he found this vital information dull.
@@1111khao It's still a bit toxic though. I've seen multiple people stating that is the best show ever and even one saying that BH Is better that R&M. These people should know that not everyone will share the same opinion and that it could start a comment war.
I know no one’s going to see this but I gotta say, if you like this song, I highly recommend listening to the album it’s from: “Chronovision” by Oberhofer. Of course, it’s best known for “Sea of Dreams” but it’s filled with 11 other masterpieces which touch on similar existential themes like legacy, death, love, individuality, loneliness and more. It’s probably one of my all time favourite albums and it’s criminally underrated.
To be honest, this episode is sad, but somehow, after watching it, I felt a little more alive. I mean, yeah Bojack, everything didn't worked out as you wanted, but today you tried the hardest you ever did
Rick and Morty is pretty good But sometimes the theme and the humour can overcome the messages of the serie In Bojack The messages are, the humor Like when Mr.Peanutbutter make his long charade on "never stop going forward, always keep yourself occupied" The scene made it funny by making him talk very-fast and almost fanatically while he was the usual goofball 2 minutes prior to the scenes It helps make a really funny and absurde situation, especially since it break both the cheerfull the athmosphere and his character at the same time But when you take two secondes to think about-it It's a pretty dark and sad way of thinking, and it also show that he's not as "dumb" as he shows He dosn't want to think or pay attention because he dosn't want to start asking himself serious questions Like where is he gonna go, how he will end-up in the future, will he have any regrets That's why i agree Bojack is superior to R&M because of the way it handles it's messages and humour In R&M, there's the humour, and then serious scenes/talks/messages In Bojack, the humour can serve as both
Find a purpose in your life. Don't dedicate your life chiefly to self-indulgence. Improve your community to your best ability. Connect with the family/friends who are *good* for you.
What if the show ends with him being the punchline of a horse walks into a bar joke. After an amazing last episode, it would end with bojack once again walking into a bar clearly depressed, and the bartender asks him, “why the long face.” Cut to black. Back in the 90s plays one last time.
I think this would be too depressing, although the punchline is good. Wonder if at some point they thought about doing this (even as an episode ending)
This show is truly amazing. The stories feel so real. No real resolutions. Just constant fighting onwards. Just like real life. I can't see it ending with Bojack Dying. I can see it ending with him maybe coming to understand himself a little better, and facing life with a newly found vigour. He'll start *really* working on the relationships he has. Working on himself, and not just constantly apologizing for his behaviour. But he won't have resolution.
(Kelsey hands note back to Bojack) Me: WTF! (Bojack sees note) Me: Ooooohhhh!!! No! Man: Hey move it buddy! What are you deaf?! Me: Oh, you've got to be kidding me!!! No! (Bojack presses button) Bojack: Oh, you have got to be ki.... (Credits roll, song plays) Me: (Busting out laughing clapping my hands hard as hell) For real. I saw the best 26 minutes of my life after that episode.
Me during the final episode: before the wild horses scene, cried for 15 minutes cos of sadness, after the wild horses scene, cried for 15 extra minutes cos of hope!
For non-depressed people it is easier to have confidence in themselves. They love themselves enough to go through life without looking for a “missing piece” to feel good. And whenever they are troubled, they just remember that they are (or were) loved, and just reminding themselves of that fact gives them peace and happiness. Just like a self love “button”, it is that easy. Many depressed people are like Bojack, they completely lack self steem and hate themselves (usually because of troubled childhoods). They don’t realize they are complete human beings that don’t need approval to be valid. They don’t realize the button is right at their side. That’s why this episode is so god damn good.
It's all too prevalent in our culture, and has happened before, will happen again. Ayn Rand writes of it in Atlas Shrugged. It's also expressed in Fahrenheit 451. People don't want to live or live well, so they don't, and let the world fall to pieces over their apathy. The most obvious solution is to find a purpose in our lives beyond just supporting our most basic functions and abusing our dopamine receptors.
I'm 14 going on 15 in November. I'm young. I live a good life. I met the show Bojack horseman through the few audios that went viral but I started watching it after seeing a clip of the show were Bojack is talking about how he was involved in a death. Haven't reached that episode yet. I'm not overly empathetic or sympathetic. I try to be understanding but for me feeling things for stuff like this is a come and go. I think the show is completely shit. It's so damn beautiful though. After 3 seasons this episode was the first episode I've genuinely seen that Bojack horseman was good. Where he looked like an honest person. As honest and kind as possible. Maybe it's because he couldn't talk crap through everything. But it felt raw. I couldn't cry. But I fell right in love with this episode. It's chaotic it's peaceful. It's docile. Bojack horseman show's reality. It shows what real life can be. It shows real depressing, masking, how difficult living is how horrible a person can be while still being person enough. He's not killer bad but he's regular fucked up life bad. He's an addiction turner as coping mechanisms bad. He's a I live in the past because I was abused bad. He's the I abuse myself bad. He's so rooted in pain that Bojack, will stay Bojack horseman.
Some people use apologies as excuses to continue being shitty people. Like Todd says: You can't keep doing shitty things and then feeling sad about it and blaming parents, shitty childhood, etc. Like Diane says: We are the things we do, that's it. Some days, we are all some people that should know better.
This episode was truly fantastic. The way they conveyed so much emotion with absolutely no dialogue was so original. Can't say enough good things about this genius episode.
Bojack died for me when show ended. I miss him serverly, I realized this when trying to look for Will Arnett's voiced movies and shows after Bojack ended. I just wanted more of him. Sigh
Holy shit... This episode is like, one of the best episodes of any TV show I´ve seen.... So innovative and out of the blue, the music, the theme, even the jokes were amazing and the feels, Even the ending timing was excellent... This is the best episode so far of BoJack..
This whole video is a slap in the face to oberhofer. 2.5 million views to a video that doesn’t even spell the album right in the description and then the actual original song only has ~770 thousand views. Just imagine how many people this video has prevented from discovering such a magical band
Love the song, here are the lyrics ! [Verse 1] I'll take your word Like a good friend should If the earth should dry May your dreams never die [Pre-Chorus] Clouds are sacred, nothing! The skies and all man, waiting! [Chorus] You'll find me In a sea of dreams Where no one cares about my words I hear her voice She laughs now She loves me now and always did [Verse 2] I'll take your word Like a bestfriend should If your heart should dry May your eyes still cry [Chorus] You'll find me In a sea of dreams Where no one cares about my words I hear her voice She laughs now She loves me now and always did
How did this goofy cartoon end up making us all so deeply reflective, somber and self-aware of our own insecurities, mistakes and flaws? The mark of a damn fine show, that's for sure.
I agree the best episode so far, some parts were quite trippy. Loved the baby sea horse bit. Bo jack horseman is brilliant but this episode was right up there very original and the soundtrack was epic.
Man, anytime i ask someone if they watch Bojack horseman they look at me like I'm crazy. And yet this episode is so amazing, with such little dialogue. Better than anything The Simpsons, Family Guy or American dad has put out in years. More people need to watch Bojack Horseman
The letter was impossible to read at the end aka his words were coming off as too blurry and hard to understand. It didn’t matter if she actually read the letter or not, all it was was a rambly apology letter. That’s why she shrugs and doesn’t really make anything of it, she’s already moved on with her life. Bojack was just in denial thinking that she still had thoughts about him at all or held some sort of grudge against him when in actuality shit just happens and directors get fired sometimes. Knowing Kelsie she probably just moved on and quickly went to work on the independent film we see her eventually presenting at the movie festival. If her getting fired affected her in any way then would she really have already went to work on another movie which she would eventually finish, I think not. This whole episode is really Bojack trying to do a good deed which he eventually does but the good deed had nothing to do with Kelsie at all. If he really cared enough about apologizing to her would he really have handed her a letter he wrote months later or would he have immediately gone out of his way right away to find her and apologize to her. Ultimately at the end of this episode all his good deeds really meant nothing. The world wasn’t gonna reward him with a perfect ending to his relationship with Kelsie just because he returned a lost baby. The world doesn’t work like that. That’s my analysis of this episode.
Wow! For some reason this video was suggested to me after I watched last episode of season 3 where Bo Jack goes running with the horses and Nina Simon song “Stars”playing and I went on youtube to search for it and got this suggested!?
"Kelsey,
All we have in this terrifying world are the connections we make"
I'll never forget this episode
And BoJack's right...I think of the fourth episode of season 1...BoJack was a struggling actor and terrible stand up comedian until someone like Herb came up to him at the bar to introduce himself. It was connection with Herb who pitched that show to execs which got BoJack fame and fortune in the first place.
I never heard a more perfect combination of letters strung together to tell somebody how much I need them.
How can a character that does not exist affect your life in such a profound way?
How can a cartoon series with characters who look like horses and cats remind you so much of the real life where other filmed series cannot archieve such a great feeling and give you something faked instead ?.
but he does exist
Its has been like that. Since the begining of humanity. Its in our DNA
And I am struggling to convince people around me to watch it.
While I genuinely consider it as one of the greatest shows ever
Technically all characters don't exist :/
Bojack Horseman is the best show on TV, and has the single best soundtrack. This is a fact.
truuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuth
Don't you think that's a bit of a stretch.
love when my favourite show introduces me to good songs like this
As someone who is autistic and had trouble communicating my love, apologies, and frustration to those around me, this episode broke me into tears. Throughout the entire episode, there is basically no dialogue and neither the city nor Bojack understood each other. The very last line in this episode before this one actually explains this episode really well: "Only after you give up everything can you finally find a way to be happy." Bojack can't speak, and is forced to play with, and as, a baby.
The song fit the episode so well. The message I got, is that what we say doesn't matter so it's just the same as not saying anything. Powerful shit.
If every other episode of this show had been bad, it still would have been worth watching every single episode just to get to this one.
I am another dimensional spectrum of BoJack
Bojack Horseman >>> 13 reasons why
The moment Bojack handed Kelsey the letter before she handed it back really stuck with me. To me, it was symbolic that no matter how much you regret your past wrongdoings, if you wait too long, your words come out muddied and meaningless. jajajaja copiaron tu comentario igual, pero en español.
A Classy Splatter ouch man
This comment is beautiful, truthful, and hit way too close to home.
One of the most original episodes i've ever seen
I believe it is one of the best. But, I'd hardly call it original.
+NoLife Man This episode is completely original! Name a show and episode that does this or similar to it.
ilovemusic1194 the main thing it reminded me of was mr bean.
ilovemusic1194 It also reminded me of alot of old cartoons that had nonspeaking characters.
ilovemusic1194 also it reminded me alot of silent movies.
"Kelsey, in this terrifying world, all we have are the connections that we make.
"I'm sorry I got you fired. I'm sorry I never called you after."
And then PC ruins any hope of Bojack actually making up for it.
+DEADPOOL9AND Ugh, that kills me too. I really wanted Bojack Horseman and Kelsey to work together, they had chemistry.
Well think of all the things Bojack ruined for PC. All of the things he did, he deserves it. It's not about the things that happened to him, or all the shit when he was a kid, it's just him. Fuck man, what else is there to say
+Losaem Losaem But there was all this pressure with the Oscar campaign, alright he screwed up! (I'm not english something may be mispelled)
what are YOU doing here!?!?!
Best episode period, amazing and innovative.
Yep. Pleasently suprised
well i love the 2007 episodes
Episode 11 was the best imo
+Nelson Matos 2007 episode and this episode should win Emmys.
protectyaneck__ the episode with bojack and princess carolayn in the restaurant was also a gem! i really love the clever way this series tell stories
That warm feeling of emptiness when the credits start rolling. This is the best show ever made. Thanks Raphael Bob-Waksberg, this was the best and most depressing season of Bojack Horseman so far. Can't wait for season 4.
Such an under rated show. We are all Bojack Horseman deep down inside.
I would say it's more cold.
How the hell is a critically acclaimed show and an extremely popular show underrated?
+InnocenceExorcist critics praises this serie a lot. but not many foreign viewer know about it
+Nguyen The Hao I'm from a different country and I love this show so mucg and I try to spread the word to everyone but they get turned off. In my country unless it's anime no one will watch an animated show since they think it's for kids. which is sad.
Is there anyone else that thinks Bojack Horseman is one of the greatest shows ever created?
TheCanadianLannister agreed
I'm surprised about this show but yes. it's pretty amazing
It's pretty much consensus now
I like how realetable it is, I mean sure, its about about Holywoo, but I'm fairly sure its a metaphor for existence itself. Oh you watched the show, you get it.
I do
"OH YOU HAVE GOT TO BE-"
perfect ending to a perfect episode
Best line in that show. xD
No, the best was for 100% "In this terrifying world, all we have are the connections that we make.”
Careless Precision
Todd's speech at the end of Season 3?
"You can't just keep on doing terrible things and then being sorry about it! Everything that is wrong with you is you! It's not the alcohol or the drugs or all the bad things that happen to you, it's you! You need to be better!...
Fuck man. what else is there to say?"
kelsey,
all we have in this terrifying world are the connections we make.
i'm sorry i got you fired
i'm sorry i never called after.
Bubb Rubb that's too much man
I SAW THE EPISODE TOO
Great, thanks Bubb and Casey, now I'm fucking crying.... :'(
It amazes me that what he did to Kelsey mirrors how he treated Herb, and I just don’t know whether I should be mad at BoJack for not learning from his past mistakes or sad that he grew up in a family that made him believe that flaws like this are the very things that connects people.
"In this terrifying world, all we have are the connections we make"
oh man admist all the sadness I forgot we made that discovery! thanks for reminding me
The moment he wrote on that paper "In this terrifying world, all we have are the connections that we make" I couldn't hold back my tears. This is something I believed in from a long time ago and watching this getting portrayed in my favorite show really hit hard.
Same haha
SOMEBODY GIVE AN EMMY TO THIS SHOW..! NOW!!
More like Golden Globe.
More like a Leonard Maltin Award.
+Matt Haney love this
It would be an interesting sense of irony if the man who played BoJack won an award... Kinda depressing in a way lol
Do you mean an oscar. Heh heh he *cries*
This episode really changed my perspective of Bojack Horseman. At First, I didn't expect a episode with almost no dialogue, but it happened and showed the most emotional episode of the series so far.
This series is the best

My feels bro. I guess the only thing I can do is enjoy this moment. Right Sarah Lynn?
+Andrew Alvarez WHY😭
Just in the Sarah Lynn
+Andrew Alvarez No! stop it right there! That episode was hard to down as it is
+Andrew Alvarez man, that "Sarah Lynn?" moment was too hard... I'm still recovering
Literally just finished watching this episode and had to come to listen to the song, seriously amazing show.
It is that gud (:
yes! the last episode got me scared the fuck out of my mind... like what if he killed himself? and omg! he might have a daughter!
screw you, people come here looking for a song from the 4th episode (just like me) and here you are talking fking spoiler. Great, just great
Gonzalo Magallón Yeahh I was worried about that, I just made sure I never read the comments. I've finished it now though, brilliant season.
+Michael Mitchell I made the mistake of reading the comments before finishing the season, and someone
*SPOILERS AHEAD*
spoiled Sarah Lynn's death too me.
I mean the season endings are full of hope though. Both season 3 and 2 were very inspirational.
HunterWolf
Funny since BoJack worked on a happy sitcom.
i don't need a reminder xddx xd dx
HunterWolf Eh, it doesn't refrain from silly unrealistic endings. Remember the chicken episode?
+Inklink The chicken episode had one of the realest endings of them all: as big and important as you think your accomplishments are, in the grand scheme of things, they can end up having no meaning or impact whatsoever.
I was about to listen to this song in the dark while feeling depressed. But... I don't want to fetishize my sadness.
This is a great song but I'll listen to it when I'm good, not to feed into any bullshit.
Good thought.
Well when person have good selfcontrol about himself i dont see reason why not to "enjoy" your sadness when you are already sad as long as it doesnt take motivation from you and doesnt make you losing focus about the real problem.
This message you posted is 3 years old. I hope you have found happiness and are doing better, commander ninja.
Damn brother, you’ve broken the cycle
Today, you made me leave without going deep into the pit yet again. Thank you.
And that is the loneliest feeling in the world
THE WEDDING IS BACK ON!
Bojack is such an emotional rollercoaster, thanks for the laughs and the tears pal
Eli Boston scrubs cit
whatcha talking about?
Eli Boston the only and best thing i can do is to give you a hint, watch scrubs (sorry for bad english)
I think I found my new funeral song.
Thank you Bojack Horseman for proving that an adult comedy series doesn't need toilet humor, crude jokes and controversial themes. All it needs is well written stories, characters we can relate to and heart.
Umm. Are we watching the same show? BoJack Horseman EXCELS at toilet humor, crude jokes, and controversial themes. And is all the better for it.
What I love of the show is how it leaves you feeling that everything could've gone better (sorry for my bad english and blah), but it's still not the worst that could've happened, kind of how life is.
auto-erotic asphyxiation
I feel like I connect more with Bojack than with real humans
Alex Fisher that's the ultimate joke of the show, is that these characters are more human than almost any other characters in TV or movies, and half of them are animals. We love these characters and when they suffer, we feel just as much as they do. They're human and we love them
Alex Fisher thats sound weird but true
Because Bojack is the most human show with the most human characters. Despite most of them being animals.
That's because you get to know him for who he really is, without hypocrisy or some of those shitty things that humans create in this fucked up society.
This is very profound dude, helps explain why I love this show so much!
that episode was... one of my favorite bojack horseman episodes. no.... My favorite bojack horseman episode. And one of my favorite episodes of any cartoon ever. The atmosphere, the symbolism, the message, bojack's character, the music, the story, the action, the pacing, the comedy, etc. Everything is perfect. This episode was amazing, and I cried... alot. The creators of this show are creative geniuses.
also thanks for introducing me to Oberhofer.
I finished the ep laughing very hard and it gradually turned into sobbing uncontrollably :) Definitely my fave ep too
absolutely beautiful
this sounds ridiculous but I'm crying at the moment.
Oh my god, that's so beautiful. And sad. :( Hope things get better
best wishes man... help things get better... and you feel better...
take care young man.
I salute you man, best of wishes to your future.
True words my friend.
Haha it's nice to see all the BoJack Horseman fans here. What a nice community. 😁
It feels a LOT less toxic than R&M's.
@@1111khao
It's still a bit toxic though. I've seen multiple people stating that is the best show ever and even one saying that BH Is better that R&M. These people should know that not everyone will share the same opinion and that it could start a comment war.
Bradley Filley rick and morty gets it laughs from farts and swears bojack characters truly feel human
@@SunnyD420 I love both shows. This one hits quite a bit closer to home, though.
Guys there’s a reanimated collab for the under sea collab happening. Hope the Bojack Community gets a kick out of it
I know no one’s going to see this but I gotta say, if you like this song, I highly recommend listening to the album it’s from: “Chronovision” by Oberhofer. Of course, it’s best known for “Sea of Dreams” but it’s filled with 11 other masterpieces which touch on similar existential themes like legacy, death, love, individuality, loneliness and more. It’s probably one of my all time favourite albums and it’s criminally underrated.
I saw this and am going to listen to it. Thanks for your comment.
aite
Oberhofer is very good artist.
I want to listen. thanks for recommending
I am truly sorry little one...
Retroshock has a good taste in series. Cool and good.
Congrats on predicting Infinity War
Lmao XD
Hölgyeim és uraim... Retroshock 😎
Oh wait-
I'm not the only madzsar here?
Best show on air right now but they still keep ignoring this masterpiece at the awards.
Yes! and 30053409680549780497 times yes! I totally thought it was going to be nominated for an Emmy to say the least!
4 yıl olmuş hala orada mısın reis bdmsshddjsshd
They never won anything lol, awards are bullshit, look at IASIP too
Honestly it’s ok they didn’t get the award cuz honestly who cares about some award made decided by a select group of people
To be honest, this episode is sad, but somehow, after watching it, I felt a little more alive. I mean, yeah Bojack, everything didn't worked out as you wanted, but today you tried the hardest you ever did
Netflix needs to put the "next episode" button after the credits of BoJack. I've missed too many good moments because of it.
BoJack > Rick morty
Bojack is my favorite show
Not even a contest
Rick and Morty is pretty good
But sometimes the theme and the humour can overcome the messages of the serie
In Bojack
The messages are, the humor
Like when Mr.Peanutbutter make his long charade on "never stop going forward, always keep yourself occupied"
The scene made it funny by making him talk very-fast and almost fanatically while he was the usual goofball 2 minutes prior to the scenes
It helps make a really funny and absurde situation, especially since it break both the cheerfull the athmosphere and his character at the same time
But when you take two secondes to think about-it
It's a pretty dark and sad way of thinking, and it also show that he's not as "dumb" as he shows
He dosn't want to think or pay attention because he dosn't want to start asking himself serious questions
Like where is he gonna go, how he will end-up in the future, will he have any regrets
That's why i agree
Bojack is superior to R&M because of the way it handles it's messages and humour
In R&M, there's the humour, and then serious scenes/talks/messages
In Bojack, the humour can serve as both
asgar d
And Morel orel?
There's no comparison. The two shows are completely different, and each one is the best at its thing.
The series ended today and episode 15 killed me and all my hopes and dreams. Thank God I made it to 16. Thank you bojack it was a hell of a ride
Fuckkk. This show got me even more depressed than what I already am lol
That ending man,...
'Member when season 1 was a comedy???
:(
I... I... I 'member...
*bursts into tears*
That's... too much, man... :'(
This episode is a very deep hole. I find myself getting pulled in more and more after each episode. There is no end, I'm just free falling...
*series*
+Caden Schmidt me too..
What a nice thought
well, you were super close
I literally got chills imagining this ending!!!
I think this would be too depressing, although the punchline is good. Wonder if at some point they thought about doing this (even as an episode ending)
In hindsight this would’ve been a less depressing ending then the one we actually got lol. Shit was too real man.
Sea of Feels
Thought this said sea of fleas for a second
oh you have got to be kiddi--
oh yea that good stuff
Boom????
This show is truly amazing. The stories feel so real. No real resolutions. Just constant fighting onwards. Just like real life. I can't see it ending with Bojack Dying. I can see it ending with him maybe coming to understand himself a little better, and facing life with a newly found vigour. He'll start *really* working on the relationships he has. Working on himself, and not just constantly apologizing for his behaviour. But he won't have resolution.
Right on!
Indeed! "Sometimes life's a bitch and then you keep living"
Came to laugh, stayed to feel.
I had to watch it two more times because it was so good
(Kelsey hands note back to Bojack)
Me: WTF!
(Bojack sees note)
Me: Ooooohhhh!!! No!
Man: Hey move it buddy! What are you deaf?!
Me: Oh, you've got to be kidding me!!! No!
(Bojack presses button)
Bojack: Oh, you have got to be ki....
(Credits roll, song plays)
Me: (Busting out laughing clapping my hands hard as hell)
For real. I saw the best 26 minutes of my life after that episode.
christ that episode needs an award for "Best Thing Ever In The World Ever"
What a fantastic episode.
Best Episode of S3
I like the last two as well the whole season was great
Episode 9 deserves much more love than it gets
THANK YOU! That episode is a goddamn workshop on dialogue and writing in general (and no one seems to realize its brilliance)
episode 5 was also powerful with what bojack said to the married lesbian that shit was powerful for me but this episode was also great.
One of the best episodes in TV history, it's just breathtaking. I love you Bojack, thank you.
I finished the season. Now what.
cry
Me during the final episode: before the wild horses scene, cried for 15 minutes cos of sadness, after the wild horses scene, cried for 15 extra minutes cos of hope!
watch the show again
Wait a year then rewatch all of it.
Caden Schmidt Wait another month for Season 4, September 8th.

That is some of the last saddest words to appear on tv, right up there with "Hold the door".
Ahmad Husaini I didn't cry, and I didn't feel sad either. Holy shit, now I feel weirdo.
Ahmad Husaini FUCK I didn't think there would be any spoilers in a comedy, but oh well. :(
I had to fight back tears because I am in public. Well played, sir.
After that episode I just really needed to find this amazing song. That has to be the best Bojack ep yet.
An apology won't make the past, all you can do is explain why you did what you did. And hope that the other person understands one day
Some people use apologies as excuses to continue being shitty people.
Like Todd says: You can't keep doing shitty things and then feeling sad about it and blaming parents, shitty childhood, etc.
Like Diane says: We are the things we do, that's it.
Some days, we are all some people that should know better.
This is not just a show, this is a six season-long tutorial on how to deal with emotions
Sigh
You you've got to be kid---
Holy shit... This episode is like, one of the best episodes of any TV show I´ve seen.... So innovative and out of the blue, the music, the theme, even the jokes were amazing and the feels, Even the ending timing was excellent...
This is the best episode so far of BoJack..
"Oh, You've got to be ki...!" 3:16
i've never hit the like button that early. that song takes me places
This whole video is a slap in the face to oberhofer. 2.5 million views to a video that doesn’t even spell the album right in the description and then the actual original song only has ~770 thousand views. Just imagine how many people this video has prevented from discovering such a magical band
Or thank you boJack; for introducing us to Oberhofer😭
Love the song, here are the lyrics !
[Verse 1]
I'll take your word
Like a good friend should
If the earth should dry
May your dreams never die
[Pre-Chorus]
Clouds are sacred, nothing!
The skies and all man, waiting!
[Chorus]
You'll find me
In a sea of dreams
Where no one cares about my words
I hear her voice
She laughs now
She loves me now and always did
[Verse 2]
I'll take your word
Like a bestfriend should
If your heart should dry
May your eyes still cry
[Chorus]
You'll find me
In a sea of dreams
Where no one cares about my words
I hear her voice
She laughs now
She loves me now and always did
Bojack the guy no one wants to be but everyone can relate to
cried like a baby.what a wonderful.creative episode.excellent music choice as well.
"shut up Todd". i dont care what you say, this is the most inspirational dialogue in the entire show. it gave me depression and made me pensive 😔
100 of these views are mine
This was probably the best episode from the series, though, to be honest, I cannot stand rewatching it.
Good news it’s getting a reanimated collab. Which works perfectly since it’s little in dialogue and mostly for visual story telling
@@bluesolace9052 where is it now ?
What a great episode!
The song is Sea of Dreams by Oberhofer
I'm so in love with this show...I'd just want to hug BoJack and tell him "You're not alone, man"
i cant believe this was 4 years ago.
How did this goofy cartoon end up making us all so deeply reflective, somber and self-aware of our own insecurities, mistakes and flaws? The mark of a damn fine show, that's for sure.
Kelsey, in this terrifying world all we have are the connections that we make
anyone else jus wna give bojack a hug.
This episode is my comfort episode
wait a minute...
isn't that the horse from Horsin' Around?
You’ll find me, in a sea of dreams
"...Oh you have got to be ki-"
kelsey, in this terrifying world, all we have are the connections that we make.
I agree the best episode so far, some parts were quite trippy. Loved the baby sea horse bit. Bo jack horseman is brilliant but this episode was right up there very original and the soundtrack was epic.
It's the best cartoon 😃😃😃
season three best season thus far...
This episode was so goddamn trippy. I loved the show before this, now I just don't even know what word to use. It's so great.
Still wondering , would kelsey forgive him if she managed to read his letter ?
Something melancholic about this song makes me wanna cry and just think about alternate reasons why someone wrote a song like this.
Man, anytime i ask someone if they watch Bojack horseman they look at me like I'm crazy. And yet this episode is so amazing, with such little dialogue. Better than anything The Simpsons, Family Guy or American dad has put out in years. More people need to watch Bojack Horseman
In this terrifying world, all he have are the connections we make.
We are only dead shit in an universe that doesn't even know about our existence.
And yes, today is not my day
