Me too and I found an interesting fact about the Starks, they won the Game of Thrones with love and passion which kind of serves as a positive reflection to the Targaryen word Fire and Blood
This orchestra portrays the Starks so well, you can feel their strength, their suffering, loss, love, companionship, fear, hate, anger and just their will to keep going. Ramin djawadi is incredible at doing this for the characters. The Lannister theme does well for their personalities too.
Pay attention to the song. It starts very mysterious, like the Starks always have been. Then it turns for the worst, it becomes really sad and depressing. Then we have an cheerfull and victorious ending. The winter has come, and the time of the wolves is here.

Love how the music almost fades into nonexistence but then picks up stronger than before. Kind of like the Starks. Perfect score for the Starks just like Blood of my Blood is perfect for the Targaryens. Filled with wonder, power, and grandiosity. Ramin did an excellent job with the score for this show. They should give him Tyrion's deal. Whatever they're paying him, double it.
The fact that the series concluded on Jon's story is kinda powerful and says a lot about how much of a hero he was, in a tragic way. Killed the woman he loved to save the lives of thousands of innocents and ended up completely disgraced for it. Left his family and all that. At least Jon's back in the one place he had the most solace, where he met his first love. He'll heal up there. The wildlings respect and accept him and he's got Tormund and Ghost, Jon will be alright.
Stannis The Mannis ok but then what was the point of revealing his true identity? It had no effect on the story or any purpose other than to create drama between him and daenerys. It didn’t actually affect the story at all. And then why was he brought back to life? What was he brought back to do? To just stand around in season 8 and not do anything?

It took me 3 years to finally give myself the chance to watch even the first episode. Now, 2 years later, I've seen every episode at least 3 times, withing a few months. Season 6, Ep. 9 is now in my top 3 episodes.
There´s so much sadness in this theme. It almost makes me cry. The Starks where so "innocent" compared to the other houses. Ned never wanted to be Hand of the King. They all deserved so much better :(

I can’t even describe how perfect the Stark theme is. It makes my eyes water every time I hear it. It’s not just that it’s melancholic; in fact, I’d argue that it’s even somewhat heroic. It’s the perfect theme for a family that always fights to do the right thing, even when it costs them everything.
This doesn't apply to people reading the books to be honest, you never really get a sense of favouritism and the story never seems to concentrate on any one family
***** In the books, the main characters are Jon, Dany and Tyrion. They have the most POV chapters. But indeed, in the 'second circle' of POV characters, there are mainly starks: Arya, Bran, Catelyn and Ned (in the first book) but also people like Sam Tarly, Theon and Victarion Greyjoy (who's got a lot of povs in books 4 and 5). But indeed, GRRM kinda likes the Starks

jordan smith whether it does or not, the starks' story was the first that was introduced to us in the show, and developed a sense of being the main characters to the audience. They were/are good people. I liked them because of it. Within the first couple episodes the lannisters are shown to be bad people, and after king baratheon died their image plummeted further. and we all deeply empathized with the starks when ned was executed. so its just the emotional attachment I felt for the starks and the fact they were the first to be introduced into the GOT world, makes me feel like they are the main characters. (and I am still hoping to see some kind of stark vengeance on the lannisters)

Just like wolf packs are extremely successful in nature when working together. Starks strength, something that Lannisters and Tywin, for example, couldn't achieve were loyalty and devotion to each other that paid back in the end.

Jake Harris My favourite house was honestly House Lannister. Tywin was single-handedly the best character in the show, and with Tyrion backing Tywin whenever he was absent (such as defending King's Landing), they were unbelievably strong. Now with those two either dead or not serving House Lannister any longer, they are sure to fail.

SPOILERS I think GRRM makes an epilogue that's where we might see Rickon, as a ruler of the North. Bran's development is such that he will not be a ruler (not just his physical disability). And I think that Jon Snow (if he survives) is meant for greater things than ruler of the North. Sadly, I think that he will be killed (maybe not in the next book, but definitely by the saga ends).

This season's finale was the best episode of anything i have ever witnessed! I got goosebumps and felt overwhelmingly satisfied when the tower of joy reveal finally took place, and the shot transitioned from baby Jon to the present one.
This piece is incredible. Especially if the composer didn't know about the tragedy House Stark would go through...he managed to capture the pride and strength of the North, as well as the melancholy and sadness. Every time I hear this in an emotional scene, it brings a tear to my eye... The North Remembers.

Me too and I found an interesting fact about the Starks, they won the Game of Thrones with love and passion which kind of serves as a positive reflection to the Targaryen word Fire and Blood
This orchestra portrays the Starks so well, you can feel their strength, their suffering, loss, love, companionship, fear, hate, anger and just their will to keep going. Ramin djawadi is incredible at doing this for the characters. The Lannister theme does well for their personalities too.
Pay attention to the song. It starts very mysterious, like the Starks always have been. Then it turns for the worst, it becomes really sad and depressing. Then we have an cheerfull and victorious ending. The winter has come, and the time of the wolves is here.

The fact that the series concluded on Jon's story is kinda powerful and says a lot about how much of a hero he was, in a tragic way. Killed the woman he loved to save the lives of thousands of innocents and ended up completely disgraced for it. Left his family and all that. At least Jon's back in the one place he had the most solace, where he met his first love. He'll heal up there. The wildlings respect and accept him and he's got Tormund and Ghost, Jon will be alright.
Stannis The Mannis ok but then what was the point of revealing his true identity? It had no effect on the story or any purpose other than to create drama between him and daenerys. It didn’t actually affect the story at all. And then why was he brought back to life? What was he brought back to do? To just stand around in season 8 and not do anything?

This doesn't apply to people reading the books to be honest, you never really get a sense of favouritism and the story never seems to concentrate on any one family

jordan smith whether it does or not, the starks' story was the first that was introduced to us in the show, and developed a sense of being the main characters to the audience. They were/are good people. I liked them because of it. Within the first couple episodes the lannisters are shown to be bad people, and after king baratheon died their image plummeted further. and we all deeply empathized with the starks when ned was executed. so its just the emotional attachment I felt for the starks and the fact they were the first to be introduced into the GOT world, makes me feel like they are the main characters. (and I am still hoping to see some kind of stark vengeance on the lannisters)

Jake Harris My favourite house was honestly House Lannister. Tywin was single-handedly the best character in the show, and with Tyrion backing Tywin whenever he was absent (such as defending King's Landing), they were unbelievably strong. Now with those two either dead or not serving House Lannister any longer, they are sure to fail.

I think GRRM makes an epilogue that's where we might see Rickon, as a ruler of the North. Bran's development is such that he will not be a ruler (not just his physical disability). And I think that Jon Snow (if he survives) is meant for greater things than ruler of the North. Sadly, I think that he will be killed (maybe not in the next book, but definitely by the saga ends).

This season's finale was the best episode of anything i have ever witnessed! I got goosebumps and felt overwhelmingly satisfied when the tower of joy reveal finally took place, and the shot transitioned from baby Jon to the present one.
