This was the second time these two guys would face each other. They first fought in Upper Marlboro, MD at the Show Place Arena in a great bout that could have gone either way except Council lost three points for low blows.
I disagree with that completely. It might have looked that way because Bernard Hopkins was so dominant. But I think it was very underrated. It had a lot of good fighters and even some great ones, such as Hopkins, but it didn't have marquee fighters.

I'm hip. That was an Andrew Council classic. I hated to see Buddy lose like that, but Andrew was absolutely brilliant...
Good fight! but I hate to see home town guys fight each other but that's the nature of the game thank GOD no one was hert.
