One of my main goals of moving to AK is to make sure I spend time doing the things I moved up there to do. This little side trip reminded me why it was important
Ah life in the rain forest. Water inside the wall less shed is expected. I was half expecting signs of things living in there. I hope the seaweed works. Its slowly coming along.
Can't wait till summer to see what you planted and how they'll grow with the organic fertilizer. You know if there are mushrooms in the area cause the land looks so moist and mossy?
That coastline is so beautiful that I had to take a screenshot of it at 7:01. I could sit in that spot for hours

I agree, 2 days gives just enough time to think about what you don't have time for!!
See ya Jared✌
Not the most productive trip but still definitely worth it
Well, I do hope your onions are successful this year. Lots to do, lots of challenges. Im glad everything held up of winter for ya.
It was a big relief that everything made it through the winter. Won't be long till I'm up there full time
I think you have your work cutout for ya making soil in an old rock pit!!!! Beautiful place 👍
It'll be a challenge for sure!
Your shop looks great. I didn’t realize you did so much planting
Thanks. It's coming along. The goal is to be pretty much self sufficient but that ground has a lot of work before it will grow much
Sure is some pretty country. Hope the onions grow for you this time.
One can hope

Hopefully I can get walls up this summer. I'll be spending a lot more time up here shortly so things should start moving along more quickly

There are a ton of mushrooms but I have to learn a bit more about the ones in the area before I try harvesting wild mushrooms
@@remoteandrestless Cool! Mushrooms 🍄 😁
That’s a good idea with seaweed. Maybe hold moisture
There was a week of sun right after I left so that's about the only hope of the seeds surviving sprouting
