For all that the politicians let us down, the military are our pride and joy! The pride felt listening to their stirring, patriotic renditions is so special and, brings a lump to the throat each time. God bless Her Majesty and, all who serve in her Armed Forces. 🇬🇧🇬🇧

(Even if this is just a rehearsal it's still very impressive) To all are armed forces home and abroad all the very best wishes stay safe and well and have a great day for our majesty the Queen and the whole royal family can't wait to see all the events happening on this very important day and next couple of days to come. Would love to see it live but knowing my luck will have to see it better on TV as you get to see everything and not miss a thing. On that note great video keep safe and well see you again soon 👍👋.

Any British or Commonwealth Regiment can perform “Public Duties” a few months ago you would have seen the Royal Horse Artillery of Canada or even the Royal Malay Rgt. So the blokes in the hairy hats are not Royal Guards but members of the Brigade of Guards and with the Blues and Royals and if memory serves form the Household brigade.

Good job this was just a rehearsal. Poor dressing and not enough snap.

I will never get used to officers moving their arms in the other direction as the other ranks. Does any know where this tradition originated please?

All depends on what arm you are carrying things with.

If the ranks march with their rifles sloped over their right shoulders, as they do sometimes, their left arms will swing in unison with those of the officers.
