Glad to hear I wasn't the only fan of Christmas on 5th Avenue! Loved watching that one, it was so fun! Olivier Renaud also played a chef in another UpTV type movie (I think I saw it on Tubi?) and that one was fun as well.

My issue with a Costa Rican wedding is twofold. One, I don’t care for movies where the female lead is shown to be bumbling, clumsy, or inept. Number two, everyone was treating Emily so badly. And she was right and feeling that she was being undermined by Ryan. She set up something on the beach. He had a better beach, or she has an adventure planned and he would come along and take charge or ruin her plans. Did not make him endearing to me.
I really liked the magic of lemon drops. I liked it so much that after I watched it I read the book which I liked better. Of course it went into more detail and it was a little bit different. I also am a sucker for any movie where The lead actress gets to be with her mother one more time. I also enjoy movies that show what would happen if you took an alternate path from the one that you chose.
I did not care for head over heels, again lead actress is bit of a bumbling person. And don’t get me started on the sister. And the father guilt tripping her over missing a Sunday dinner. She is an adult for goodness sake.
I thought it was a strong group of movies as well.

Junebug - I was looking forward to this, and it lived up to it for the most part. I was pretty disappointed that they didn't get the rights to play 'In Your Eyes' considering they played 'Dreamweaver' in 'My Dreams of You' the following week.
Speaking of... 'My Dreams of You' was also really fun and creative, though some aspects of Grace and Michael's separate stories had some drama that didn't fit with the rest of the movie.
Costa Rican Wedding - I just couldn't handle all of Emily's eccentricities. And they didn't seem to really explain her animosity towards Ryan. And Juliana writes a little cameo for herself again.
Magic of Lemon Drops - I think I said this in a previous comment but the Lolly/Rory relationship was unnecessary.
Head Over Heels - With the exception of 'Romance in Style' their fashion movies fall flat. This wasn't terrible but it definitely didn't fit into the rest of the month.

I loved seeing Kapil, (we still need more diversity, Hallmark), having his Mr. Darcy moment with the Michael/Grace kiss in the rain in My Dreams of You. That kiss was so romantic and sexy; I absolutely loved it! ❤‍🔥 And it gave me such Darcy/Elizabeth, "you have bewitched me body and soul" vibes, especially the mirrored forehead touching. 🥰 Also, the lighting and cinematography were beautiful.
