Did the princess were held captivated?? Do u want the sultan sue you? The Ringgit Malaysia 22.50 are called Mas Kahwin or Mahar or Dowry in Muslim wedding. It is a gift given from the groom to the bride after the solemnization ceremony or nikah. Get your facts right!

I don't think the Sultan was concern or against a foreigner marrying into the family. The Sultan's mum was a British woman.

I am a Johorean. You got some facts wrong. No matter whom.she married , the Princess and her kids couldnt have any claims to the throne as succession is only throigh the male heirs. So I doubt that was a condition in the pre nup. Secondly everyone who converts to Islam changes their name or rather adds to it like Dennis has done. He is still referred to by his Dutch name in addition to his muslim name
Not true, its not obligatory to change one's name when reverting to islam. Only when your name has a weird of bad meaning.

If you are a Malaysian citizen you need to change your ID( MyKad) with addition of muslim name. Also I have never come across a muslim convert in Malaysia who didnt take a muslim name.
