  • While the majority of the athletes in the NFL and NBA are Black, there aren’t nearly as many people of color competing in hockey, fencing, or golf at the highest levels. In this episode of #WhosInterviewingWho, we got Olympic fencer Ibtihaj Muhammad, former NHL pro Akim Aliu, and pro golfer Chris Clark together to discuss their experiences as some of the few Black athletes working to perfect their craft while navigating traditionally white spaces. They discuss the pressure to conform, confronting racism in the clubhouse, what it takes to create more inclusive environments for future generations and more.
New episodes of #WhosInterviewingWho drop Thursdays on @UNINTERRUPTED's RUclips.

Literally had the same experience in college as Akim. The first thoughts were don’t respond as the “angry black woman.” Such a disappointing feeling and sad those are our first thoughts.

I got in trouble at work cause I disagreed with what someone said at a team brief. They said that it felt like I bullied them. I didn't apologize for what I said I apologized for how I said it and how I made them feel. I'm lucky to be a part of a union cause I wouldn't have a job rn without them. It happens everyday. I always wondered why my mom said I had a temper even though my peers had way worse of a temper than me. I pray my son can have the same benefit they do

Please attempt to include Lewis Hamilton in this discussion; it would be really interesting to hear his perspective on being the only person of colour in Formula One.

Lewis is the biggest star in formula 1 and is the highest paid driver at damn 50 million a year. Honestly that doesn’t make sense at all please stop creating problems. There are other minorities in formula 1 and just because he is black doesn’t change anything. Sainz, albon, perez etc...... please don’t focus on just Hamilton. This is coming from a minority as well.

I’m the only black girl on my college volleyball team and it’s so difficult to have conversations with teammates and “friends” about my struggle in school and sports and I always feel like I can’t really brag about my accomplishments just to not feel arrogant. I hide my depression with a smile and it’s been very difficult to hide my emotions

The same could be said for white kids in all black schools. I had to deal with that as a youth. It wasn't that fun either. I had to deal with a bunch of hate from a lot of hateful people for no reason.

does the muslim women know that the Arab Slave trade in East Africa took place?...kinda weird slamming American History while adapting a Religion and Culture from a Region of the World who practiced the Slave Trade for 500 years longer then the Colonial Powers back in the Day.

Akim aliu loves being a victim, everything is ALWAYS black and white black and white black and white, get a new motive dude shits sad. He played for over 20 teams in his professional career, 20 teams!! Only other player close to that is Rob Schremp who has been rumored to have a poor attitude for years. Makes you wonder. Definitely don’t condone his treatment but it definitely seems like he has an attitude himself, at least during his career
