I just love how Derek decided to test Cristina's theory of Katie having an aneurysm after Meredith decided to finally speak up. He probably wouldn't have even bothered to do anything if Meredith hadn't done that.
Merideth didn’t get to med school they her mother she had to work twice as hard because of her mother , and merideth is the one that came up with the answer the Katy’s problem and was on her care already , Christina was wrong for telling the secrets that she was to keep in confidence she was not a good friend at the time
Cristina is a MUCH better surgeon. She wouldve won the award way before Meredith, even Catherine said that but rules were different. But still Cristina is much more accomplished
I think it's hard to say that she is a better surgeon than Meredith bc they went into different fields...Meredith is General Surgery, Cristina is Cardio...that's like saying is a javelin thrower a better athlete than a high jumper

Christina had from the start said "Maybe one of us can scrub in". She knew he could pick Meredith. However, Mer got her hopes up saying she wouldn't take it, meaning that should they solve it, Cristina's chances became 100% instead of 50%. She is not mad because she didn't get to scrub in. She's mad because Mer pulled a bait and switch.
This is why Meredith will always be a better doctor than Cristina, she pays attention to her patients and remembers details about them. Cristina may have more talent as a surgeon but the better doctor will always be Meredith.
