Wirtual 2032: [solves Final Enigma in 4 minutes using the smear bug discovered in 2027 and the wrapper bug from 2030] Oh look how cute, they thought it was difficult.
2023 Wirt: Not even a single checkpoint on Plasma will ever be cleared by humans. 2033 Wirt: Let's take a look at some "impossible" tracks from 10 years ago. Plasma? How quaint! We didn't have the two wheel spaghetti slide yet.
11:00 That is my map! "unNamed31s" finished it in December 2021. I would have never expected a finisher on it, I knew each single drop was possible, but the whole thing? :D Bit sad to see that someone finished it already at that time though because I would have loved to see Wirt grind that map and get a meltdown^^
That starting block removal map was really interesting, I wonder if you could make some sort of "scavenger hunt" kind of map out of that concept, maybe with a bit of a larger area
Or even an ARG of sorts. Where depending on the starting location, you would get clues to rearrange a set of maps to get to some ending. That sounds like a cool idea!
The thing about aging games is that it is like any professional athlete: 90% of the way goes pretty fast. So from 200X-2018 lets say, a LOT of progress can be made. But now every progress takes longer and longer... Like on every map at first records come flying in, now they take years to beat. In rocket league S1-3 was my time where I played professionally... I can't even really fly (to this day)... but it just wasn't required. But RL pros have reached a peak where it is now incredibly hard to get anything more out of it, since walljump, roofjump flipreset already is pretty much the peak. So I don't think there will be people laughing at todays "hardest" tracks. Since they are in the top 10% already of what is possible.
Yeah, at some point the precision and timings humans can pull off reach a cap, the only thing that can basically always be improved, at least a little bit, is consistency.
Humans do have a limit on how precise they can be. If such a thing happens, it will be because of new innovations and discoveries in game knowledge, techniques, control methods etc and not because of human raw skill and precision.
I think there’s a limit, though. People today are way better than they were ten years ago, but in ten more years, they might only be a little better, because there are fewer tricks left to find. An impossible track today might still be impossible in ten years, because the trick that makes it possible is already known, and you can only get so good.
also the map at 5 minutes is absolutely just reused content from another video somewhere, i have seen him play this exact map and i do not watch the streams
WHen he said that the author needed 50 attempts to clear the map, I thought that was cute. 50 is rookie numbers. That can be done in one day. Something is only difficult if it takes the author months to clear. And then the pros take only about a week.
Yes, it was for map validation. I put it on the grass behind the start on the ground and used a (back then) commonly used trick to validate the map with Cheat Engine. After validation i put the finish a few blocks higher with a tool called TrackStudio so nobody else can use that finish while trying the challenge.
Recently found your channel. First off, I would like to say thanks for introducing me to this game. Secondly, Damn you for introducing me to this game hahahaha Just spent nearly 4hrs getting all the training tracks to gold, the first 24 tracks took about 90 minutes.......... 🤣🤣

so couple of maps using modern techniques, and couple of maps random guys made, that are not difficult. the only actually difficult map, je just skips. gj! true accomplishment
I have a question. I dont play this, but enjoy watching. Is these "impossible" maps validated? Does the creator actually think its impossible, or is the maps completed upon release?

Technically you're the first finisher for completing the author time !!

Lmao do one of those undercover vtuber videos, they’re actually pretty entertaining
Maybe players in 10 years will do Plasma easily and laugh about how bad we are. That will be crazy

What wirtual said about noseboosting potential in 10 years, I think A15 and maybe B13 could be done.
I'm soo glad that Trackmania still gets recognition to this day.
Half of this is just off-brand Kacky, gotta love it.
