Remembering Producer ELIZABETH McCANN (1931-2021) on THEATER TALK

The late/great Elizabeth McCann takes on former Theater Talk co-host, Michael Riedel, May 10, 2002. (Her production of Edward Albee's THE GOAT was to be a big winner that year). She defends the strength of that season and the industry in general against Riedel's slams at it in his NY Post column. She also takes aim at the critics, calling them a "gang of hoodlums" and shares her views on what journalists need to do to revitalize Broadway. This is classic Liz McCann, reminding is of what a powerful voice she was in the world of the theater.
