It is my hope that the Netherlands will take you to court properly.
@bodgeer I think the 50/50 system isn't that bad because the public decides, which song is the most popular and the jury (who are actually experts) decides which one is from a musical perspective the biggest achievement. i think in a competition like ESC both things are evenly important and thats why they count it 50/50. without the Jury, the musical aspect looses it's value because the public will almost everytime tend to vote a simpler song that is easyier to learn or to sing along than a musical masterpiece.
Italy announced their points to the others before the final votes, so as a consequence, no one gave 12 points to Italy, that's why Switzerland has received so many points :|
unfortunately I think that the song got lost in that staging, she was perfect when she was alone on stage (like during Sanremo), she didnt need those dancers around
Switzerland got the highest percentage of total point from juries ever, higher than even Tattoo and Amar pelos dois. Jury is just getting more and more power each year to decide the winner on their own.
That is because of voting system. There is no jury in semi finals so we have more songs public-friendly than jury-friendy in the final, so jury cummulate points for the same songs.
@@1amino2fenyloetan that's bullshit though? Serbia, Slovenia and Latvia all came through to the final just with televotes. And look what jury has given them. So much for being fair and judging the vocals.

This years Eurovision clearly showed how EBU and Eurovision are only inclusive for the camera. But respecting a person, for not wanting to be filmed after their performance, is too much to ask, they even get disqualified for not giving their consent, after being forced into that position. No means no, even for EBU crew.
@@Marais-cu3vo Well its not a public space. Its a controlled area by the EBU. So hence everyone has the right to deny things. And when they have an agreement it must be respected.

Since Eurovision and the EBU ignore my email where I reported in the final of this year's competition that I am from Italy with an Italian number and have problems with voting for Croatia, I am now contacting most places. Through the application, I could vote a maximum of 5 times, then I managed to vote 4 times via SMS, and all other votes were rejected. I also tried to vote by call, but they did not accept calls. To make matters worse, I tried to vote through another number, that of a family member, but the situation was the same. And while the organizer claims that it is possible to vote 20 times, I only managed to vote 9 times from one number and 9 from another. Eurovision is fixed!

The jury could not have been more evident, of 37 countries, 25 gave 12 points to Switzerland, to ensure it was the winner, and prevent Croatia or Israel from winning (we know that the jury gave very few points to Israel). There's no point in televotes when the juries just give one specific country all of the 12 points, giving no other country the chance to win. When I saw the jury results, I knew Switzerland was gonna win, regardless of the televotes.
Yeah but what do you want them to do? You want all the juries to create a WhatsApp group and tell each other not to vote too much for the same country? It just so happened that Nemo’s voice and performance stood out the most, I mean they won’t vote for someone else just because “too many people are voting for Switzerland already”

For me it felt like 2022 with Ukraine and Israel being overrated. Gotta admit that Ukraine had a pretty good song, but Israel were so many sympathy votes..
So a song can win the public vote by a huge margin but if the jury decide to punish it, they may not even finish in the top 5. It happened to Norway, it happen to Finland, it happen to Croatia. How many more times it needs to happen? I am done with this, not watching next year.
It is like it is….. in the end its all a question of taste, no matter if you are a jury member or a tele voter. There will always be people being disappointed or happy about the results…..thats just part of the eurovision game.
The distorsion is Israël massively getting votes from Zionists and far right all over the world. Eden Golan doesn't deserve to be a the fifth place. But strangely you don't talk about that.
Switzerland has a very good song. But... Did Nemo really deserve 360+ points, while France and Croatia scored just over 200? It's not fair that Nemo received 12 points from 22 countries, and Croatia received only 2 🤦🏻♂️. Did the jury really not want Croatia to win that much? Don’t forget that Eurovision is not a conservatory, not a “Voice” show, it’s a SONG competition, not a vocal competition. And the song is clearly not 360 points. Contending nations giving points to small entries that wont hurt them in televoting (Portugal) 2.Narrative 22 countries giving 12 points to Switzerland, that many jury voters across diffrent music genres agreeing Switzerland is the best is unbelivable to me 3. Neighborly voting 4. Italy and Ukraine always perform well and you won't regret giving them 12 points
the jury chose the song which has been sung the best ( i mean what do you expect when you let musicians vote) while televoting chose the song which was most popular. I think both aspects are important in a competition like ESC and in the end the total makes the difference.
The juries need to bring back the 50/50 split for the semi finals. That's two years in a row the Juries have crowded around one country and left everyone else in the dust. I mean I love Nemo and their song, deserved winner, but come on! 365 points???? That's two more jury points than Mans got in 2015 and that was under the old voting system
France struck the hearts of both the Armenian jury and the hearts of all Armenia. 12 points from the jury and 12 points from televoting Bravo France!!!!
I don’t have anything against Switzerland winning but anyone can tell they were unfairly favored by the jury. Why should a handful of people called the jury have equal say as the MILLIONS of voters who paid money to cast a vote?? They genuinely need to change the system so it’s 1/4 Jury 3/4 Televote or something.
Politicized, anti-Israel, anti-national, and anti-audience JURY. What the EBU is doing is simply rubbish. The EBU should permanently exclude all juries that show a significant difference with audience results from EBU events and take action. I do not want to see this jury voting in Germany next time.
@@gainal9080 that 'deserved more' somehow only applies to how juries operate huh? Televote feeds majority of its votes to the same country and that's not a problem 🤔
2019 for example had a way bigger gap between the public favorite and the jury favorite. But because of that the most streamed ESC song of all time won. It's a fair system I'd argue. Getting votes (which cost money and limits the influence of individuals) doesn't determine whether you're the most liked or not. Other example is Rosaline and Snap. Even though she received few from the televote, she became the most popular of that year in the end.
Nope, every year is the same thing, if that ever happens all countries will just start sending crowd pleasers, and we will lose great performances like Portugal, France, and everyone who doesn't send a random pop song

The only thing that could reform the EBU would be for Germany, France, Italy, Spain and the UK to say „we‘re not paying for this circus“. After all, their national broadcasters cover 75 per cent of all costs.

Eurovision: The battle between Jury and Public votes 🙂
100%
And jury wins 75% of the time. Sadly.
ha if u believe public votes are real...
Taste vs Circus, taste won 😊

It's not fair that Nemo received 12 points from 22 countries, and Croatia received only 2 🤦🏻♂️. Did the jury really not want Croatia to win that much? Don’t forget that Eurovision is not a conservatory, not a “Voice” show, it’s a SONG competition, not a vocal competition. And the song is clearly not 360 points. We clearly don’t know something, because Azerbaijan simply wouldn’t give the highest rating to Nemo
Great comment 💪💪💪

@@dalmatiandream4452 The jury gives too much power. Because they don’t vote for songs, but more for who a person identifies himself as, whether the girl has a beard. There should be respect for ordinary people, which is absent in this competition. It is very sad.
They just wanted the queer dude in a skirt to win
@@systgksNemo s vocals were by far the best and outstanding good. Croatia was a boring party song. Switzerland fully deserved 🇨🇭
"Ok, can we now please have your 12 points? 😐🙄"
"Switzerland! 12 points!"
Summary of the video.
Switzerland along with France were the only two songs I immediately fell in love with as soon as I heard them. Couldn’t stop replaying them. Such a deserved win, although I wish France was higher because he also had an incredible voice.
Both were in my top 3
Switzerland in now the highest scoring jury song of all time of point per country with an average of 10.14 points per country absolutely smashing tattoo's previous record of 9.44 points per country . Well done Nemo !! CH
I hope this is sarcastic
switzerland was fine but it's not the absolutele smash hit that the voting suggests. it's highly unusual how uniform the jury was on their choices.
Nah if you deserve your flowers, you’re getting the entire garden. That’s pretty much how this works since forever.
@@allmight2795 Not to this degree. This is the most unanimous jury vote of all time. If it was a smash hit sure, but they were not even in top 5 for favorites.
@@onceuponatimeonearth uhm they were top 5 in the public. Sure that’s a huge gap but that doesn’t negate Nemo’s deserving of the victory.
Besides, This isn’t even close to the jury having an intense favorite. Luxembourg 1972 and 73 literally exist. Nemo will be fine.
@@allmight2795 They were fifth on televote but that was only because The Netherlands was disqualified. So under normal circumstances they would be 6th on televotes. That is NOT a unanimous smash hit.
@@onceuponatimeonearth So you’re basing this off of pure speculation ok. How could the Netherlands be too 5 if they didn’t even perform? Because you said so? Like I said Nemo will be fine. They won fair and square and that’s that.
Jury voting rules:
1. Contending nations giving points to small entries that wont hurt them in televoting (Portugal)
2.Narrative 22 countries giving 12 points to Switzerland, that many jury voters across diffrent music genres agreeing Switzerland is the best is unbelivable to me
3. Neighborly voting
4. Italy and Ukraine always perform well and you won't regret giving them 12 points
I think 4 should also be with France
Portugal´s song was a small entry in your poor opinion.....
the jury chose the song which has been sung the best ( i mean what do you expect when you let musicians vote) while televoting chose the song which was most popular. I think both aspects are important in a competition like ESC and in the end the total makes the difference.
Lol UK is a contending nation?
One of the few satisfying things out of this year's Eurovision. They better change *a lot* of things before next year's contest.
12 POINTS TO THE NETHERLANDS !!!!!!!!
12 points from the jury and 12 points from televoting
Bravo France!!!!
Even with all those 12 points, they barely beat us Croatians, shame of all eurovisions! They know that we are winners
Politicized, anti-Israel, anti-national, and anti-audience JURY.
What the EBU is doing is simply rubbish.
The EBU should permanently exclude all juries that show a significant difference with audience results from EBU events and take action.
I do not want to see this jury voting in Germany next time.
And we thought last year's jury vote was boring lmao.
Cope
@@ronfarkas For the record, I actually like The Code. I just think other acts deserved more love.
@@gainal9080 that 'deserved more' somehow only applies to how juries operate huh? Televote feeds majority of its votes to the same country and that's not a problem 🤔
@@ronfarkas Lol 3 countries got 300+ votes with the televote.
@@gainal9080 that's literally what I said
History is being written here! Congratulations Nemo.❤
The contest is so done, this is the story that has been written.
Just in time when I was looking for a good comedy to watch this Sunday afternoon. Nice!
Croatia, France, UK... THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!
tbh it should be 40% jury and 60% televote
35% jury is enough
Nope, every year is the same thing, if that ever happens all countries will just start sending crowd pleasers, and we will lose great performances like Portugal, France, and everyone who doesn't send a random pop song
Never change eurofans never change😊
@@TJMorrison. Dude France received more points from public than juries 227 vs 218 Italy was 7th in public Latvia qualified with a 100% televote
@@edouardescAnd? Why should that negate the existence of juries. It’s like y’all live for the hatred or something. I mean you have every right too, you do you, but like don’t you see how much buzzkill y’all are?
