This is one the best interviews Liz, thank you. I have a Better you spray bottle of magnesium in my bathroom cupboard .....I just didn’t realise not only so many of the benefits, but what kind of magnesium is the best as I’ve just started a tablet form. Thank you Andrew for such amazing information. Thank you too Liz. Wonderful 🌸

I loved this, Liz. I’ve been boring my family rigid about the benefits of Magnesium for years! I am going to send them the link to this and wait for the inevitable eye-rolling. 😂 It’s as much as can do to stop myself dousing them in Better You the minute they walk in the door. Have been spraying my legs for ages. It really does do the job. Amazing stuff.

I take 2 Magnesium tabs every day and a separate Zinc tab but my B12 and Vitamin D are Better You sprays......I use tan luxe too, I mix it with my elemis day cream on my face it gives a lovely glow. Looks like I'll be going over to Magnesium in liquid form now.

    • @BabyfaceA1

I always take my vitamins in capsules, definitely not a hard tablet. (if you want your body to assimilate it easily, stay away from hard tablets). Why do they manufacture them like this? They cost less, of course.

Brilliant talk Liz. I’ve just been educating myself on menopause over the past year. Just started on HRT two weeks ago so still seeing how things go. You mentioned you take one Utrogestan each night. I presume that’s for the full cycle. I’ve been prescribed to take Utrogestan two weeks in two weeks off but one one tablet per night. I’m concerned that that might not be enough as the recommended dose on the leaflet inside says to either take it one a night for 25 days or two tablets for 12 days from say 15 to 26. Do you think one tablet each night for two weeks of the cycle is enough? Thanks again for a great talk and it wasn’t too long ! 😊

@@lizearlewellbeing thanks Annie. That would be great if you can post that m. Yes I’m still having periods. I also noted Dr Louise Newsom says if having periods, to take two per night for two weeks so I think I’ll need to go back to my doctor as I don’t think the dose is enough and as it has such a vital role in protecting the lining of the womb, it needs to be correct. Thanks again

Oh flip! I have a bottle of Better You Magnesium oil that I've not been using but will definitely start using it now given that I'm suffering of chronic insomnia which my gynaecologist has said may also be connected to menopause. I have a prescription for body identical estrogen and progesterone that she's written up for me but waiting to hear back from her as to when I can start using it in order to coincidence with my follow up appointment with her as she wants to see me 8 weeks after my starting it but she's away on holiday which means she can't see me until 10 weeks later. Hopefully I can start on the HRT soon. I will, in the meantime, start using the magnesium spray to help aid me with my insomnia.

Thanks again Liz, and please thank your educated friends too for sharing valued information with us all. 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘💐💐💐🌹🌹💐💐🌹🌹👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌

Can we not just make sure we consume vitamin K in our foods more often, weekly is a start?

So is he advocating food, supplements and magnesium spray for your RDA?

  • @1Lightdancer
    @1Lightdancer 2 года назад

    He's speaking my language 😀!!
I've been a Massage Therapist nearly 4 decades, and from early on, asked clients with calcified muscles, "So you happen to take magnesium?" ....
they often feel better within a few weeks of they begin! our natural food grocery sells mag. chloride spray.
I aim for eating OG food as much as possible (for the reasons he mentions) both from my garden and farmers maker.
I get glycinate capsules from our docs office, and make my own magnesium bicarbonate water, using water carbonated in a sodastream and Milk of Magnesia (super well absorbed, and stable in this liquid form) bicarbonate and Boron are two of the cofactors - so I take some boron as well. The cardiologist Dr Wm Davis recommends using this highly available liquid form, as magnesium is SO vital for heart health! (*best to take the boron with the morning dose, as it boosts energy!)
I also use epsom salts (plus baking soda and a bit of borax (2C Epsom salts, 1C baking soda, 2 Tbsp borax i keep the posts in a separatecontainer, and add 2 handfuls of the salts, one of the powder) in the bath, and transdermal sprays.

    'A big fan of dairy'...
    Thank-you!👏 Liz
So refreshing to hear, especially since, milk has sustained a bad rap for decades - including from this guy, Andrew....and who IS he? I didn't hear an introduction...no idea of his credentials? Profession?...other than what sounds to me to be a self-proclaimed expert on magnesium. Sorry for the cynicism, but an introduction of Andew that tells us a bit of his background would have been helpful.

No mature fully grown adult Human needs dairy a substance from a completely different species ........its the cruellest industry and this promoted more in society than human breast feeding ,society is out of balance ,its bonkers in my view ,priorities obviousley needs to change . A great balance of plant based foods is the way to optimum health . This guy was to loud and over talked over you Liz .....sadly I was going to share this link as I have an interest in magnesium & I love your links but this one was a no no .. he needs to take a breathe way to fast to make it comfortable listening ..going forward I hope this has been taken as constructive comment and can be passed on . Great work Liz . Kind regards Paula

Just to add I took a powdered Magnesium citrate ,diluted in water and sipped during the day after a well ,a week or so doing this I felt quite unwell so I stopped taking it ..going to the toilet more wasn't an issue . I eat nuts ,veg & fruit and soak in Epsom salt baths...so is Epsom salts not good to use ?
