Hey, glad I found your channel. I have a child that is supposed to be going into third grade next year with an IEP and current reading level of about 1st grade. I also have a coming first grader and a kindergartner who is supposed to do kindergarten again next year with because he’s behind in math, but his reading is great. I purchased some workbooks and things to focus on the weaknesses this summer. Really thinking about homeschooling and trying to learn as much as I can. I’m really interested in The Good and The Beautiful. Thanks for being here.
Awee I am so glad you found my channel and appreciate you sharing your story! I think that is wonderful that you plan to work through some workbooks this summer! We do school year round so we can keep up those skills in the summer months, just tend to take it a bit lighter in the summer. I've seen a huge difference in my 8 year old since doing so... Your channel was in my suggested videos. We are a homeschool family too! We started at the beginning and my oldest is 12! I have 4 kids (ages 12b, 11b, 8g and 6b). My youngest starts senior kindergarten this year. ♥ I am a southern transplant 😂. Married my college sweetheart❤. My family is in Ohio so I understand about the need for flexibility to travel.
