The School System, because they are literally broke if they can't afford to have proper drinking water. That and the absolutely broken rules they have about cellphones.

At my school, a student sexually harassed some of my friend's friends, and my friend beat him up for it. My friend got suspended for 5 days. The guy who was sexually harassing people got 2 days of in school suspension.
Sucks how standing up for yourself/others in school is punished more than the one's who started it. I've been kicked out of highschool and had to transfer to a ghetto one for "living out of district" even though my parents owned 2 properties(at the time) that's registered legal with that school.
I can't tell what's worse:
Being locked up in state prison for a month
or
Having to relive one term as an unpopular student at high school.
The age old authoritarian solution. Don't fix the problem, silence the outcry.

I think they went to my school. I'm not kidding. One of the worst bullies in my high school (who only avoided me because I was protected by the seniors that year), harassed our openly gay student to the point where he had some kind of emergency and ended up transferring an hour away to the other high school. The asshole? He got like one day of home suspension. When one of the gay kid's friends sought revenge by clothes lining McAsshole and kicking him in the ribs until someone pulled him back, he got suspended for two weeks and in school suspension for practically another month afterward.
Shame on Wayne-Westland schools! There are enough kids with bad behavior and you tried to punish a good one.

It's only "inappropriate" because the school got ratted out. If they seriously have to backlash against the student because they didn't like having one of their issues known, that says way more about the school than it does her. First of all, do you fucking realize how much work a teacher has to put into there job? They work mostly 5 days in a week for about 8-10 hours, and that's not discussing the things they have to do at home like grading papers, and this is also not including the after school activities that the teachers put on. Second, I have asked my teachers, they have said they don't make enough money for this shit, especially when punk ass kids try to be a big tough guy. Third, they don't get the entire summer off, you do realize that right? They have to work on there lesson plans in case the state changes the curriculum and they may have to adjust there room and assign the students there seating charts. Lastly, the fact that they define the next generation is why there pay is the problem, not to mention that most teachers have kids to support. An average software developer, which is another occupation that is to define the next generation makes about 100,000 dollars and the minimum required education is an bachelor's degree. A teacher needs a bachelor's degree in that certain subject that they want to take. An average teacher makes about 30,000 dollars a year, do you now see the problem? Another thing I would like to point out is that most teachers in big towns make decent money, however in a small town where I'm from, they make much less. It's honestly not that hard to make an educated comment on my comment but instead you decide to go on about how it would make the teachers more corrupt, like that is a very good reason to not do it.

F1ght1ngF1sh yeah at first when we were in 4th period we heard a thundering explosionthought it was a bomb (because of us in Alaska being very close to North Korea) and everyone stormed out and there was a layer of water in the halls tumbling down the stairs like a waterfall it was like Biafra falls and we found it was coming from a bathroom so a teacher trudged trough the disgusting water to turn the supply off. We saw in the bathroom all the stalls got knocked over because of the insane pressure and one toilet exploded (probably the one that caused it) and good thing no one was in the restroom or they would've died lol I think it had to do with the frozen pipes and the pressure buildup exceeded over 1000 psi so yee all our toilets were replaced to prevent anything like that happening again lol

A bachelors and masters from an ACTUAL state university, as in The University of. Had a job waiting for me for a year and a half (yes seriously) before I graduated from my masters. I can't complain. I only applied to 2 colleges, both state universities, and was accepted to both. If you are talking Ivy league, yeah sure I see your point, otherwise it seriously doesn't matter. No, whats important is that adults in positions of authority, like the principle, are held accountable when they take retaliatory action against a student for blowing the whistle. Nobody cares that "we learn from our mistakes" when it comes to blatant misuse of power. We all know damn well the principle got mad for a kid having the guts and audacity to point something wrong out, and took a retaliatory strike against the teen. That action speaks volumes about the lack of character that principle has, and should be met with swift and aggressive dicipline to the principle if not an outright firing. Those with low or questionable moral charachters should not be in a position to administer dicipline and justice to young children, period.

I was an A-B student throughout all of high school. I feel like most of it was a waste of my time and my parents money. Everything is backwards in these schools.
