Thank you for the great tip! For the first tip at 0:53, giving up on landings, I find it universally applicable in any other area. I got a correction in similar vein in my piano lesson, which is to continue playing even if I play a wrong note, rather than stop and giving up. I think the general message is that one should practice like how one would like to perform.

I was literally just thinking the same thing. When I'd mess up piano as a kid I would bang on the piano after and restart lol

Good feedback. Great tips. Your impressions of the bad v good technique are spot on. I always find it entertaining and educational when a coach impersonates my poor techniques.

    Simple mistakes that annoy viewers:
    1. Not proofreading your titles 😏
Haha, just teasing. But seriously, you make the BEST skating videos, it's a shame to mar it with a silly typo. Thank you for this, and all your other great videos. Your channel is a great resource for tips and ideas for broadening my practice!

Hi Coach, just subscribed, I like your site, these simple mistakes and basic roles. Going to the rink, Coach and spectators are waiting, ice time is paid for; clear your mind of all distractions like social media and friendships many hours before, it's you and the ice. Thanks Coach!
