I don´t have any big issues with it.
I have issues with the standby clocks now (can’t change the colors, etc) and still widgets keep going invisible randomly - will they ever fix that annoyance? 😂
My issue is when i'm trying to view any video frame by frame in my photos app or right after i shoot one, the video itself is choppy and laggy...
I manually updated to the new 17.4.1 21E237, and it solved my strange stuttering Face ID login glitches.
Will the 2022 iPad Pros be getting the Special 17.5 Update?

On my iPhone 15 Pro Max, my battery life is diminished on iOS 17.4.1. It’s definitely worse than it was on 17.4.0.

The Bluetooth is still messed up. I'll be listening to music and it automatically stopping the music almost every 10-15 mins. It's driving me nuts!

I got Bluetooth headphones connected but when I swipe left on Home Screen when at the start , can’t see the Bluetooth symbol 😊

In the early build of iOS 17.4.1, I encountered issues such as stutters on the home screen when I first booted the phone, widgets randomly disappearing, and the lock screen wallpaper dimming. However, after updating my iPhone 15 Pro using iTunes to the revised version, all these issues have been resolved. Additionally, the battery usage appears more accurate to me.

@@Masterstrange56 if you get into itunes then connect your phone to pc they just tell you that you have new version for your phone and you can easily update in there i did today no experience for now on revision but early 17.4.1 battery drain issue device 15PM
Useful video Brandon! I did update my iphone, but the loan bug I'm experiencing didn't get fixed. What frustrates me is that the clock alarm bug got fixed. There's another bug in the clock app (the timer sound not being able to be changed without immediately reverting to the default). Shouldn't Apple have fixed it too, since the bug is in the same app?

After the 17.4.1 update, my iPhone 14 screen became completely unresponsive. I suspect the re-release addressed this widespread problem, but it hasn't fixed the issue for me. I've performed numerous hard resets and a full restore (even attempting older iOS versions), but the screen remains unresponsive. My device is like in a comma, and I've never experienced an iPhone issue this severe. This is extremely frustrating and i'm not sure how to revive my device again...
Bodyguard is my fav so far from the new album.
17.4.1 i had widgets disappear and glitches when unlocking, did the re-release via iTunes and runs better imo and no more glitches!
I have that glitch on the wigets when I unlock my screen, they’re not there. so far no update has fix that for me.

I haven’t updated iOS 17.4.1 yet because I need more info how it’s going with the features? and how’s the battery life, does it drop battery percentage and drain quickly or is it normal and fine?
8:01 I’m super psyched up about custom maps or at least remembering and learning the route that I take most often and make that the default route unless there’s an accident or obstruction and traffic. :)

I use the app called InRoute on when I’m out running errands around town and it’s great at creating a perfect route with multiple stops. I can’t believe Apple hasn’t bought this or partner with them to be incorporate intoMaps app. Hopefully in the next iOS

I’m glad it’s fixed and hopefully it doesn’t happen again. I totally agree with you. The lady hiding an AirTag deep in her bible is a real genius move. Props to her! Using iPhone since iPhone 7 Plus.
Now I'm using 14 Pro Max and first iOS version that made iPhone stutter and frame-droping while scrolling, unlocking , going home from app, etc.
So I just purchased a new iphone 15 pro max is normal it shows that it has been already charge to 82% on 2/9/1970 if never experience this on a new iPhone should I return it and get a new one?
Brandon I have an question that has been sitting in my mind for pretty long now. Is it better to be on no betas, public or developer betas. I mean in sort of battery life and performance. I often hear, it is better to stay on the stables but I have never felt an big difference between beta and stable
Getting heat while charging
im having a lot of issues with the auto-correct and prediction keyboard... when i hit the predictive text it wont work... i have to go back a couple of times. frustrating
Since 17.4.1 the “Allow calls on Other Devices” been weird. First call didn’t show up at all on my iPad so I restarted it and now the call shows on my iPad but the ringtone doesn’t sound. FaceTime still sound but not my calls.
What’s the reason for the rerelease?
With the 17.4.1 my 13PM never been so smooth I'm glad I updated for sure!

I honestly disagree. Ive seen many MAJOR issues with ios 17.4.1. Many bugs that were rumored to be in earlier ios. I'll comment an update in a few days after the update.

@Brandonbutch, can you provide a link to Apples response indicating that they have fixed the mfa bombing issue? 9 to 5 Mac has nothing about the fix or Apple statement on their site nor can I find any other confirmation on a fix. J
Updating to the new iOS has removed the ability for customizations to standby mode, I only get photos now, no other options, can’t swipe left and right or change the clock 🤔
After I updated my ipad to 17.4.1 it's draining crazy 15 percent overnight with heating issues and a lots of bug. I'm never gonna plug it to itunes which might destroy device this costly. I'm just waiting for a 17.4.2

I have one AirTag and one Atuvos in my car hidden. I removed the speaker from both. Atuvos is better in the sense that it can’t be located by someone else like the Airtag if they get notified that there is a tracker in their near.
I have two AirTags in my truck. I pop off a piece of trim panel and stash one there as well as a storage cubby in the bed.

iOS 17.4.1 would not verify my ID, and it took numerous attempts to finally get it. It was a real pain. iOS 17.4.1 also messed up the wallet, which is a major issue for me. Another issue is battery performance degrade. I don't use my iPhone as a power user. Before 17.4.1, my battery would last two days, now I barely get through the day without the battery being depleted.
17.4 introduced a "bug" I haven't seen mentioned a lot, but copy/pasting text between apps / devicer now makes everything freeze for up to 10ish seconds before pasting. Its horrible and it also happens on my ipad. I hope this gets fixed soon.

Gosh, if a single traffic ticket was written that day, Shane on that police system. Stealing cars, holding people at gun point, etc is always one of the most important things. Parking and traffic tickets is the lowest priorities. Ugh

Definitely do not update the 11 on new versions. Only going to hold up space while not actually being able to use the data. Just make sure to keep security up to date and you’ll be fine 👌

I’m going to keep calling it a bug because I refuse to believe it’s not, but in CarPlay with now playing being dark mode but every other screen in the music apps being in light mode. It’s got nothing to do with whether or not the headlights are on. It’s when you’re scrolling songs it’s in light mode but as soon as you tap a song and it goes to the now playing card, it’s dark again. Apples too concerned with form over function for this to not be a bug.
It’s not a small thing, I can barely see the screen in my car during the day, it’s crap. Light mode helps tremendously but apple disabling light mode on the now playing screen pisses me off because it ruins the form and function.
But the biggest issue is how I used to be able to tell Siri to “play [this] song after [that] song” and it would just continue the music but add that song to up next, now it just throws the playlist out the window and plays the song I asked for before it shuffles random songs.
I still have many issues since the moment I installed 17.4 and 17.4.1. Has a solid 6 major issue. Disabled my SIM card and any others I switch to and among many other things. To me, this was the worst patch of my lifetime so far.
Then, they should release a new iOS. Here we go with 17.4.2 to fix these corresponding security patches

Bro i dont know when it happened, but i do notice some things changed that i hate apple did, like when i try to set a new reminder there use to be an “x” to click to delete the “New reminder” now i have to select all or hold the delete button down. There was also a few other things i cant think of at the moment. I feel like apple moving backwards this year.
