It's more fascinating watching the right try to cancel the game for opposite reasons than the left is. Rockstar pretty much became the South Park of video games, by showing how everything is actually weird and tribal nowadays.

The lawsuit will be thrown out. You can use the likeness of people (and even copyrighted content) without permission as long as you are parodying them.
Yes. Plus, it wasn't even a 1-to-1 recreation, just a general nod to his existence. His claims really have no legal grounds because like you said, the law allows you to use someone's likeness without name dropping them as long you are parodying them

There might be a chance that it goes through. There is a huge difference between parodying a public figure like a celebrity, and parodying a non-public civilian. Though, even if "Florida Joker" has a case and is in the legal right, something companies love doing is drawing out court battles to be as long and expensive as possible; and something tells me that this guy might not have the money for all the legal fees.

After rockstar put out the" ballad of gay tony'(gay indoctrination) I boycotted them. The next rockstar game I played was red dead redemption 1 after I had completely forgotten about the ballad of gay tony. WE ARE VERY FAR away from the original GTA SAN ADREAS which was amazing!
Also changing up the hair to purple instead of green like this was in the courtroom shot is like you asking your buddy to copy their homework and your friend says sure,. but change some things so it doesn't look like you copied mine. and all rockstar did was change the name of the person and like 1 or 2 details. but still doesn't mean it isn't copying. lol

Honestly, gta 6 is the first game that has excited me since cyberpunk. I don’t see R* letting us down, though I think the Bonnie and Clyde duo will have a cringe story. But realistically the important parts ie world/ai/physics simulation and overall feel of the world will more than likely be hugely improved over gta 5. Every studio will let us down eventually but I think R* still has some bangers loaded.
The reason for it is rockstar is the only gaming company that has a union for the staff that's why there games are triple A and others are not
