I have used one of these for years with no problem whatsoever. I also have the crystal press ,and recently I bought the 6 atm wet tester. All perfectly functional tools at a fraction of the cost of the Original Bergeon. The Original Bergeon caseback opener accessories will interchange with the Chinese version. I don't doubt that Bergeon is better regarding tolerances, etc. Yet I don't think they are ten times better. I've always used Bergeon staking sets and mainspring winders and now copies of these tools are available at a greatly reduced cost. As to their usefulness I cannot say but I can say that Chinese tools are definitely much better today than they ever were and the gap in quality is definitely closing. Thanks for a great review. The only one I've seen regarding the case opener.
Thanks Darren, I've also now got the 4 finger hand press which I keep meaning to do a review of 🙃 I also got one of their air pens, my Boss has the Bergeon which costs a £100 more and there is no difference at all
@@ClickSpringReview Another great tool that I can vouch for is the Horia jewelling clone. I bought this tool not really expecting much but found it perfectly usable. Admittedly I had to reduce the diameter of some of the anvils to actually fit the press but once this was done I found the tool was perfectly square meaning that the pusher faces aligned perfectly flat with the anvils. It did not take much to get a perfect fit. I simply put them in a drill chuck, spun them whilst holding an emery stick against the required part. I may look into buying the hand press...
Great video, what are the Hedapai 5537 case dies like to use as there's a big price difference between theses and the bergeon 5537 version, have you encountered any problems with these dies, i've read both positive and negative reveiws, i'd rather pay 30 quid than 180, if there ok quality wise. Keep up the good work...Thanks
Thanks Barry, although I won't be taking any watches apart unless I acquire at least some rudimentary knowledge on the subject. The cashback tool I have is a handheld unit, and it's relatively easy for the pins to shift and cause damage... Have a good week Barry, cheers, Bob 🍻
That sounds probably for the best Bob :) I started of regulating movements and now I just love taking them about and hoping I can put them back together lol
I've only just got the Horia (clone) and so haven't played with it yet but once i do I'll get a video up Sir , The next tool review is a handy movement holder I've picked up
@@ClickSpringReview Nice 🙂. What about metal base case back opener you have mentioned in the video, do you think it is better to grab that one instead of the wooden base?
Fit for purpose plus with the money saved you got to buy some of the additional grips and dies and are still in pocket over the Bergeon. I could barely see the play in the shaft, and I replayed that part a few times !, negligible at the most. Winner winner chicken dinner from what I can see. 👍.

@@BokiPetrovic88 Looking back maybe I should of paid the extra £10 pound for the metal one as you do get a case holder included with it Sir
